Stopped in here yesterday for a cake for my husband's promotion. The two staff working behind the counter were very kind and helped me create the cake I wanted and helped me understand all the different cake flavorings. The prices are fair, very comparable to the Vons next-door for their cakes as well. I am very impressed with the taste of the cake so far, we got one that is chocolate vanilla and fudge inside and it is absolutely delicious. I love it! Only minus one star for the bakery items. We love bear claws and theirs are mediocre. But still very impressed with the cake and will be back!

Result

Absolutely awful craftsmanship and design. Amateur at best. Scammed out of 150 dollars. Julie was incredibly helpful at trying to fix this awful cake while the manager charged me 150 dollars for this atrocity and tried to blame me for not explaining properly. Not much to explain about clumpy gray sprinkles instead of iridescent glitter. If you want something professional go somewhere else. If you like getting scammed this is the place for you

PV's go to bakery and coffee shop for years. Every pasty or cake I've gotten has always been delicious and beautiful. I do often find service a bit slow especially if anyone else needing help at the same time given seems to be small family owned run business with little staff. Inside is simple but nice - I prefer to use the outside seating if ever I'm not taking away. Best to order ahead and pickup. Note cupcakes and such they will add the icing for you at time of pickup or as you order on the spot so allow an extra couple minutes but this ensures a fresh and great tasting cupcake so I love this!

"We do not guarantee the quality of our products after 24 hours" I ordered custom made crème brûlée for a very important event. The owner and had Baker insured me the highest quality product if I paid a premium price which I was happy to do so. The crème brûlée was runny and a completely liquid consistency- because it was undercooked. However because I picked up the crème brûlée 24 hours after it was prepared I was told that they can no longer guarantee the quality. They refused to remake the product for me and refused a refund. I left the crème brûlée at their office because it is completely inedible. What a shame about this type of business practice and unskilled baking.

Friendly service and a great bakery. Stopped it for a treat, left with some stunning cookies!

Two words: Butter-cookies. Try them. They melt in your mouth. They're wonderful with coffee or tea and they always have wrapped platters that are great to take places. I havent tried very many of the pastries but I do remember the chocolate cake being good and the almond croissant being yummy too. Last time we got the gingerbread "woman" and she was one legit cookie. Get it? Lol Excuse my Mommy humor. I remember getting an estimate on a 1 tier cake and it was quite high but their designs are great and their flavors are delicious too. Stop in. Get the butter cookies(the pecan shortbread and their regular butter cookies with the sprinkles(I hate sprinkles but this cookie is sooo good.). Get a cup of coffee. Go to the car and stuff your face where no one can see. Bring an extra magazine for extra cover. You're welcome. =)

This is the best coffee shop in the South Bay, hands down…read more The owner is from Italy and Imported his own machinery for making coffee. From what I've seen, I'm guessing 99% of the items there are imported from Italy, not including produce- I think (to keep it fresh). I started coming here after a huge shift in my life and didn't just find amazing coffee, but a beautiful community. Also a great place to get gelato for the kids. I do not recommend staying "too" long because it's so good that it gets crowded often. On the other hand, sometimes having so many people there is kind of a beautiful thing on its own too. [Atmosphere]: There's an outdoor patio area and the interior decors include wallpaper with buildings in Italy, a shelf with Ferris cars and children's books, and pictures of Italian cars hanging on the wall. Behind the counter is a poster of the 25th anniversary of The Godfather. [Menu]: Yelp's top highlighted items are Rustico, Caprese, and Cotto. Breakfast panini is only served from open to 11 AM. The cafe also sells coffee, gelato (six different flavors), salads, affogato, and croissants (plain, cream, nutella, and apricot). I had a cup of house brewed coffee and the drink wasn't quite on the same level as other third-wave coffee shops in the South Bay. They sell coffee beans from Danesi Caffe. *** Breakfast panini (Scrambled egg, fontina cheese, tomato a avocado - $10.95): A healthy-tasting sandwich, but it probably needed more sauce to add flavor. Bread was good. Rustico (RUSTICO: 24-month aged prosciutto di Parma smoked scamorza cheese, arugula, & white truffle extra virgin olive oil - $11.95): A solid sandwich, but it definitely lacked the "it" factor. *** A solid local cafe for anyone looking for a healthy Italian panini.

Caffe Tre Venezie - Interior decor is very interesting. It's definitely not what you recommend walking by from the outside.

I had no idea they even served pasta, and it did not disappoint! My husband got the chicken crepe, my daughter had the BLT hot panini, and we also shared one of their glazed donuts... soooo good. We sat outside with our fur baby, which made the experience even better. The vibe was warm, intimate, and perfect for the holidays. They also had a huge, beautiful Christmas tree right in front of the restaurant where we took photos--such a fun and festive touch! This is one of our go-to breakfast spots, come check it out!

Close to where the wifey wanted to shop, (aka, happy wife, happy life), but I too like the mens Bath & Body products. But I digress... We both got paninis, and in their defense, both were tasty. Me... chipotle chicken, the wife, turkey I think but I have no idea. The "fries or salad option" is offered and me, being the fat effer that I am, chose salad, as did the lovely wifey. Results. Pannini's, i.e. both of them, were very tasty. Not the knock your sock off kick my arse variety, but very tasty. Bread is delicious... That said... here is kicker #1. You are offered a 'Salad or a Fry', with your panini. Again. the both of us, attending to our respective diets, chose the salad option. Well... kick me in the arse and call me a donkey's child because I could have picked more greens outta my teeth after a snack sesh with broccoli after flossing, than this B.S... Again, I digress. What really gets me is the cost of two small, albeit tasty, panini's, that was $54... Really? Call me a cheapskate but I personally believe that $54 should at least give you a little... Well, I'll stop there... JMHO.

This is a fairly new cafe. They don't have a permanent sign yet…read more The interior is fairly small. They have artwork on the wall, along with a bookshelf on the right hand side wall. Seating is limited, but they have seating both indoors and outdoors. There are five tables indoors. Two are small tables for two. There are four small tables for two outdoors. I chose to sit outside. It's a little stuffy inside, and when at full capacity, it gets crowded. I ordered and paid before sitting outside. They only have one laminated food menu and one laminated drink menu to order from. I ordered the avocado toast and a 12 ounce latte with almond milk. In terms of types of milk, they offer almond, oat, soy, and whole milk. Staff are friendly, but they need more staff. Unfortunately, there was only one person taking orders and making drinks in the front. I believe someone was in the back cooking the food. When I got here, there were only two parties ahead of me. After I placed my order, there was a large group of people who arrived, but they received their drinks before I did. I had to go back inside to ask where my drink was twice. He delivered my latte. No design. If you squinted a little, it could possibly look like an embryo. Afterwards, my avocado toast was delivered, along with a wooden container full of utensils and napkins. The avocado toast was alright. It consisted of toasted white bread spread with cream cheese, scrambled eggs, topped with peppered and sliced avocado. It came with a side salad; not too much dressing. Parking: There is plenty of free, shared strip mall parking.
