I was thoroughly impressed with the food quality and warm service at this restaurant. The restaurant is run by a husband and wife crew. The wife runs the register and takes care of drink orders and the husband (Max) is the chef. We stumbled upon this place by chance on our way back from Altitude Trampoline and Market Basket in Billerica which are in the same shopping complex. Since all the food is made to order, they had no problem accommodating our request for vegan-friendly food choices. Since they are not just reheating pre-cooked food, it does take a little bit to make everything. We went with a Pho Curry, Veggie/Tofu Wheat Noodle Combo and another noodle dish with tofu and vegetables. The flavor was spectacular and all of the food was cooked to perfection and nothing was soaked in grease like you often find at Chinese/Thai/Asian restaurants. Portion sizes were really good and the food was reasonably priced. They do not use MSG and do not deep fry anything. If this restaurant was closer to our house we would probably be here at least once or twice a week, but even with a 25 minute drive, the food was good enough that we will definitely return. This is not a fancy restaurant, you order at the register and they bring it to you, but the quality is superb and if your food comes out anything like ours did, you will not be disappointed. They also have a selection of teas, coffees, bubbles teas and fountain drinks as well. I seriously love these folks, they remind me of my grandparents when they were alive and Max is obviously a very talented cook.

Definitely will be returning. I've driven by a million times and never tried. The yelp reviews made me want to try and in my neighborhood page good reviews about safety with their take out during COVID. woman was extremely friendly and accommodating over the phone and in person. They focus on playing it safe during this time. Curbside delivery, separate gloves for food and for money, masks, etc. the food is competitively priced and very good quality. The potstickers were delicious and came with a balsamic sauce on the side. Ramen with chicken very big serving size, very flavorful. Edamame big serving size too, fresh, lightly salted. The bao's were very filling. I got 2 orders. Each order has 2 bao of the same kind. One order with beef and one with pork. Both tasty, surprisingly I liked the beef better. Great food, friendly clean good quality service, competitive price for lunch!

Food was excellent. Cooked to order. If you are calling ahead for takeout, give them at least 20 minutes to get it ready. Worth the wait.

May 15, 2026 I'm…read morewriting this a week retrospectively from my experience, since I've been through a few things medically in the last week and needed time to think about our family's experience at Karma-Burlington. First - our server, Kendra A. Was really good and kind. She worked hard for the 7 of us and my few criticisms don't reflect on her at all. First - let me say that Karma/Burlington is not set up properly for large parties. Our table was located right next to the kitchen door. It is neither a gracious nor a comfortable place to have a large dinner together. Secondly, the table was both too narrow and not long enough to accommodate people and large plates of food. In other words, it was cramped and because of that, not nearly as welcoming as it could have been. Third - the music in the restaurant is obnoxious. It was always on the edge of being too loud and it's directed at a younger crowd .... People who either don't care about assaults on their hearing or who don't care about being able to have meaningful conversations at moderate levels. Now... let's talk about the food. Generally, it was really good, though their Pu-Pu platter for two sucks for the price ($37.00 each). There were no egg-rolls on it, only two fried shrimp, a stack of boneless Chinese rib pieces, and some chicken fingers - which were overly breaded and not worth eating. I also counted four crabs Rangoon pieces on each platter. Not exactly a generous offering!! I'd definitely skip this appetizer next time. Now - we chose, as a family, to eat communally - passing plates around and sharing everything. I've attached the photo of the receipt, so that you can see what we ordered. Three plates stood out as exceptional: the Coffee-braised short ribs were really delicious. Fattening, but amazing. The second was the Beef with mixed vegetables - one of my perennial favorites at Karma. The third was the Mongolian Beef, which was tender, savory, and delicious. The Stir-fried Yee Mein was not memorable and I'd not order it again. My eldest daughter ordered the Philly Maki and the Cucumber and Avocado Maki. Both were good but very much not exceptional. A number of us ordered the Hot & Sour soup and it was very good - as it usually is. The soup was served piping hot and quickly, which made it a small delight. The service we received was good across the board and the restaurant cannot be faulted for how busy they were.... Which I have to say did not at all impact the quality of our meal. If you want to go to Karma-Burlington as a group, tell the manager that you do not want the table where we were! Other than my specific concerns, it was a very good experience and I'm happy we went.

The spare ribs were tasty and I think they had some truffle oil. The sushi and sashimi was very fresh. This Asian fusion restaurant…read moreoffers dine-in, takeout, and DoorDash delivery, a spacious dining area with ample table seating, a full service bar with high soft seats offering 12 beers on draft, wine, and cocktails and sushi bar. For food, they offer the usual suspects such as appetizers (gyoza, spring rolls, shumai crab rangoons, edamame, skewers, chicken fingers, scallion pancake...), soup, salads, noodle soups, stir fried noodles, fried rice, bento boxes, teriyaki dinners, katsu, donburi, sushi rolls, and sashimi entrees and appetizers. The pricing is moderate here. On my way back home, I passed through Lowell and decided to stop in at Koto for takeout, later in the evening before closing time. The place wasn't too busy on a hot weeknight. I decided on the Shrimp & Veggie Yaki Udon Noodles ($16 plus tax), which was hot, ready and bagged in a nice looking sealed Koto reusable bag. The food was still hot when I arrived home about 30 minutes later. The portion seemed modest, but expected since I ordered the thick round udon noodles. This dish had a mix of soft udon noodles, carrots, broccoli, onions, red peppers, cabbage, zucchini, and tender shrimp (cleaned). Other than the noodle dish being a bit overcooked, it tasted pretty good. I will very likely order the pork katsu with rice & salad or a bento box on the next visit to Koto in Lowell.

This place was dead at 10pm on a wednesday. I showed up at 10:30, having read the flyer stating…read morekaraoke starts at 10pm... false advertising. I am standing there while the "DJ" literally sits and eats drinks and smokes, and the excuse to sit around and do nothing is he "has no singers". I arrive half an hour after the official start time and he would not let me do karaoke. This guy does the same thing wherever he goes it's crazy. Then the angry owner protects his friend rather than hold him accountable for not doing his job.. It's no wonder the nightlife scene in Lowell is dead. These people put their delinquent friends and/or family before their customers. Hopefully some business-minded people will take these spots over where, these people are taking the location and the local people for granted. The fact that he even said, "starting at 10pm" is crazy, and shows how out of touch and uncaring these business people are, as any1 with a middleschool education can clearly see the entire problem was that karaoke...from my own FIRST HAND ACCOUNT, hadn't started at 10pm. Yes, please do as this guy says; be there at 10pm like I did and see if the karaoke isn't started by 10:33 pm (which is when I finally left) or even 10pm as he's claiming, make sure you also leave this owner a 1 Star review to prevent more uppity out-of-town business owners who think they run the place from taking advantage of local spots where good businesses would actually thrive and add value to the area instead of more smug, cynical, every man for himself, here today, gone tomorrow turn-key bullcrap. This guy is delusional... everything I stated was a first hand account, for him to flat out LIE is crazy. Also the story he is giving here doesn't match up with what he said in his own restaurant. I had a face to face convo with this guy INSIDE the restaurant.. the karaoke hadn't started and he knew that because he told me, "this DJ had a method where he waits for a bunch of singers to show up". So this guy KNEW and yet he calls out the truth on me, what a snake. What a pompous, nose-in-the-air person this guy is. Untruths, lol a word the news uses to blanket discount anything any1 says. Goes to show even people with money can be crazy, it's not just the guy strung out sitting on trash. Also, this DJ's "method" is him sitting around drinking, smoking, and ordering drinks WELL PAST the karaoke start time. I literally went to another location that "hires" him (more like a charity donation) and it was LITERALLY past 11:30 pm and this same DJ hadn't started yet despite the start time being 10pm.... These big business types want you to shut up and take it and be quiet, they care nothing of the service they provide.
