Matcha magic is my go-to matcha and açaí bowl spot on the east side. They have amazing açaí bowls that have chia seed pudding and spirulina. While it's a little pricier, their açaí bowls are definitely fancier than its competitors. My two go-tos are the Main Street magic bowl or the unicorn bowl (has ube, seasonal menu. Their matcha is also great and they carry a multitude of different drink flavors like marshmallow, cereal milk, ube, horchata and more. The service is always great and I do appreciate the they offer milk alternatives at no additional charge. Their store is also super cute and very aesthetically pleasing. You can find parking in its lot next door, though there are limited spots. Street parking is also available. read more

The shop is located right on Main St. with a parking lot beside it. My fiancé and I walked over from the Bellevue Downtown Park. The ambiance is super cute with pink walls and fun wallpaper. The staff was friendly and very quick to make my drinks. My fiancé and I ordered the toasted matchamellow latte (hot) and strawberry matcha latte (iced). Both were so tasty! Loved the toasted marshmallow that came on top of our matchamellow latte. Matcha Magic is located in Old Bellevue as it took over the former Jujubeet spot. The space is on the smaller side, but enough seating for hanging out. And I just LOVE that they allow dogs inside. Menu featured a ton of different matcha concoctions, from lattes to toxics, and so forth. They even had acai bowls for some grubbin'. My friend and I came here in the late morning on a Saturday and it was packed. Yet, the line went by quickly and we got our drinks fairly quickly despite how busy it was. I ordered an iced ube matcha latte with coconut milk, that was close to $8. It's a pretty penny here, but I'm glad that the drink was yummy! I loved the mix of the housemade ube syrup with the coconut milk and the matcha to give it some caffeinated kick. I will say though that the matcha could be stronger, but it was still a great drink. I will definitely be back to work my way through the menu, as they have a ton of intriguing matcha flavor combinations like toasted marshmallow, rose glow, etc. OH, and the aesthetics are on point. I'm really upset.... that I moved out of my place a 1 minute walk away from Matcha Magic- 2 months before they opened!! LIKE WHY?!? I saw this open on Yelp and I was excited it was on the eastside, but then to see it is in the old Jujubeat location, proudly carrying on the healthy legacy of his predecessor, made me even happier. They joined Main Street with a loud entrance, a gorgeous fresh pink layer of paint! Nobody is going to miss it, because nobody should. I stopped in and saw what they did with the place, I love it. It still has so much sitting room inside their bright space. I really feel like I've been living under a boring rock drinking my plain matchas for all these years. I had no idea what would taste good with matcha, so I didn't dare branch out. Until the Carmel Maca-iato. And another one the day after. And then I finally had to switch it up, and got the Strawberry Matcha Latte. This tasted like strawberry icecream, no joke. I have now made it my goal to work through the entire menu. Pray for my finances because my expensive matcha habit just got even more expense, however, because I left the first day with a $9.81 drink. These prices are up there, but I know good quality matcha and adaptogens are not cheap. Super cute spot that I found out about through Instagram. I suggest following them for updates about stores hours and new items. My friend and I got the Pineapple matcha latte & Strawberry matcha latte to try and we enjoyed both of then, although I personally prefer the pineapple one a bit more. The matcha flavor was not as "strong/potent" as I expected, and the drinks were not too sweet either. I would prefer a stronger matcha kick and perhaps try their dirty matcha latte next time to see if the espresso would enhance the flavor. I had really high hopes and was excited to try Matcha Magic, but I found it to be just okay and I wouldn't make a trip back. I came on a Sunday morning and parking wasn't too bad. There are limited spaces nearby and the shop will validate parking for you. This place was packed with a line to the door which seemed like a good sign. Like all the previous reviews mention, the shop aesthetics are super cute. The shop owner was very friendly and helped me place my order. I got an iced Pineapple Matcha Latte and my boyfriend ordered the Dirty Horchata. Unfortunately, I was extremely underwhelmed by both drinks. The Pineapple Matcha Latte had a very light, nearly undetectable matcha flavor and did not have the strong flavor I was looking for. The pineapple puree made it sweet and tasty, but the overall drink quality does not reflect a place that specializes in matcha and boasts serving ceremonial grade matcha. In fact, the matcha drinks at Starbucks have a stronger flavor. I'm not a coffee drinker, but I could tell that my boyfriend's coffee tasted watered down. I paid about $14 for both drinks which is expensive for watered down matcha and coffee. I could certainly justify the higher cost for expensive, high quality ingredients; however, neither drink was memorable and we went to get drinks somewhere else immediately afterward. Overall, I think this shop will do great because it's cute, attractive, and the drinks are tasty. However, if you are a tea fanatic and are looking for a serious matcha drink, you won't find it here. read more

Service was disappointing :( I stop here occasionally and most of the time the matcha is pretty good, however, my last experience was really disappointing. My drink was super watered down because the barista set it on the counter and didn't call out my name like she called everyone else's. It was a little busy so I figured they were just behind. Finally, after asking for an update after waiting for over 15 minutes, they pointed to a drink that had been sitting there the whole time with no name written on it or anything. The girl apologized and acknowledged she forgot to call my name but it would have been nice if they had offered to remake it since it had been sitting there for so long and the cup was all wet from condensation.
