This has become our go to brunch spot every Sunday after church. We've tried a little bit of everything but our go to dish the the chicken & biscuits. We usually get a full size portion and share it. They also have $2 mimosas (original, blackberry, blood orange, & peach). What actually won me over was the bathroom. None of that cheap 1 ply tissue or nasty smelling hand soap. They even have mouthwash (with cups) and lotion in different scents. It's the little things that count! read more

just trust me... get drunk on a friday night and roll into Mash'd for brunch the next morning. You will thank me, i promise.

I love coming to eat at this establishment when in town for work! Great whole tasting and clean food. The atmosphere at the restaurant is very relaxing and comfortable to enjoy every aspect of ones dining experience. I must recommend the Powerbowl or the Avocado Bomb! Thanks for the tasty treat! Until next time. read more

The food is pretty good! I got the unholy one and it's basically just French toast and chicken. It's definitely a lot and super heavy so only order it if you're feeling really hungry! The mimosas were great and only 2 dollars a glass or 11 for a larger mason jar/pitcher (around 6 glasses). Overall great spot for boozy brunch, but service was EXTREMELY slow when we went, so I took off a star. read more

Went to Mash'd with a group of 16 girls and we had the best service ever!! Anslee was an amazing waitress! OG Pizza is awesome!

The alcohol is overpriced for what you get. It's $10.50 for a $6 drink anywhere else. The food was decent but the service was just not there. The atmosphere was okay but they were playing annoying reality TikTok clips on TV and that sort of thing just really downgrades the ambience for me. I'd rather have no tv, than something stupid on. I wanted to like this place a lot but I can't justify an $80 meal for what we had tonight. read more

Ever changing. I miss the old menus printed on a large newspaper sheets. It was fun to flip through. Most of the food is heavy but very good. Recommend the dips. The inside/outside bar is great when weather cooperates. Friendly bartenders. read more

Super cool and fun spot up in Frisco! Honestly was kinda hard to find for me, but that's probably because I'm a dolt. Ha! It's tucked away in the back of a shopping plaza, but when you go in it's got the vibe of a 4-star restaurant you can wear cut-off jeans to and not get judged. The wait staff was great and the queso may be the best queso in DFW. Now I get it. queso is kinda hard to mess up and always tastes amazing. But they add in some cool wrinkles to their recipe making it really pop! They serve it in a cast-iron bowl too so it adds some substance to the experience for sure. Full drink menu and fun vibe. Go check them out! read more

My first visit here on a Sunday for brunch. We walked in and was seated immediately, so that was a plus. It was busy, but service was prompt and accurate. Our waitress was very knowledgeable, so that helps. We both ordered the same dish, which I totally forgot the name of the dish, it was French toast with chicken, fried egg, and some type of sauce. It was beyond amazing. I will definitely be back to try more of the menu. read more

By far one of the best spots in Frisco!! Amazing food, craft cocktails, and service. You must try the Pineapple Bomb, meatloaf, and chicken and biscuits complete with "Chuck Norris" gravy!!! They also have LEGIT Detroit style pizza! They are definitely dog and kid friendly with an awesome patio to chill out on! If you are in the Frisco area definitely check it out!!! read more

This was a horrible experience. The customer service was horrible. My husband and I decided to dine here for post Valentine's Day... We'd been better off getting Cane's. The hostess looked every bit of 12. The restaurant wasn't crowded, but we ended up waiting over 10 minutes after being seated with no one even coming to take our drinks. When our waiter came, he looked like he'd just taken a nap and was ready to get off work. When they brought our food out, it was cold!!! I had the OBC chicken with biscuits, and my husband had the ribs. From experience, I don't send anything back to the kitchen as I've seen what they do when the Chef is insulted so I had the guy give us Togo boxes. We didn't stay long. Overall, this was a waste of time. read more

Waitress was nice. The pizza tasted microwaved. The girl behind the kitchen counter was running her hands through her hair, talking on her cell, and eating the entire time. All next to all the food being handled. Maybe she was on break but she was still grabbing plates and next to the other cook moving food around. This is my first negative review of that says anything. read more

**********UPDATE********** I still stand by my original review. The meatloaf was burnt and the volcano dish was skimpy, but I must apologize for allowing a one time experience be the basis for a three star review. I had to give this place another shot. Mainly because of the guilt trip my friend gave me. As for round two: Sarah, the manager(?) is a wonderful human being. She might be the nicest person you will ever meet in the restaurant business. Our waiter was also great and attentive. The wife and I wanted to try something different this time so we ordered the chicken fried pepperoni, the turkey burger, and the avacado salad (small size). All three were exceptional. The turkey burger was a little too salty but it doesn't take away from the quality of the burger. The salad was an explosion of flavors. A very, very good dish. The chicken fried pepperoni deliciousness - O.M.G. Please try this. That's all I will say. Round two at Mash'd was an entirely different experience. We did a good job selecting our dishes and would come back for more of the same. Bravo, Mash'd. My pepperoni filled stomach and I thank you. ***************************** Came here because my friend highly recommended it. I probably won't take him for his word again (when it comes to food). That might be harsh, but when you call it the best meatloaf in the world, I expected something glorious. Okay, I might be over criticising so let me take a quick break before I go any further. [Shopping break at Marshalls] I'm back. So the food, in all fairness, was okay. I ordered the half order of meatloaf and my wife had the shrimp and crab volcano dish. I felt the meatloaf was burnt around the edges/underneath and the sauce had way too much garlic in it. It really wasn't as good as the hype. Not even close. The other dish, on the other hand, was really tasty. The rice, shrimp, and crab was all cooked on a skillet with most likely butter and a volcano sushi sauce. I would give that a thumbs up, but because of the very small portion, my thumb is at a 45 degree angle. Overall, I have to give this place a three. The staff was friendly, the vibe was very cool, and there were so many fun things to look at. However, in my opinion, the restaurant does not live up. It's rather pricey ($40 for two without any drinks), the food is just meh, and I did not leave full. Thank you for the attempt, Mash'd. My stomach and I leave unsatisfied. read more

Two thumbs up! My boyfriend and I stopped in last night to enjoy a few moonshine cocktails and split queso, beet salad and an awesome rib sandwich. If you're picking up the queso, I recommend adding the pretzel bites to your order for an extra $1 -- Well worth it. The beet salad was fantastic on its own, but meat-eaters also have the option of adding salmon, shrimp, chicken or (perfectly cooked) steak. As far as the Babyback Sandwich goes -- Just do it. The rib meat was SO tender and flavorful! Mash'd also has Happy Hour specials every day from 3pm-6pm and 9pm-close. If you stop in during those times, you'll be able to grab a specialty cocktail for $3 off. I tried their "Knockout" Punch and "Ole" Fashioned. The Knockout Punch was really tasty and not overly sweet. The Ole Fashion was also delicious but definitely on the sweeter side, so I'd recommend this one as a stand-alone drink or a dessert cocktail. We'll definitely be back read more

"To Fork or not to Fork" that is the question.... at least when I got my Motor City Pizza. I'm a bit of a pizza snob so I'm always reluctant when somebody tells me that they have a great pizza, or a new item that is fantastic. My natural defenses kicked in when Brier, the bartender that recommended the Pizza and told me of it's "chef designed" origins, recommended it. At first glance this looks like a French bread pizza like I got when I was a kid (see pic). The ingredients, flavor, texture, and consistency it has make it not even close to that, nor does it resemble a traditional greasy flat Pizza. While it's definitely not Chicago-style pizza, it's not something traditional. There are chunks of pepperoni, an extremely flavorful outside, which I hesitate to call a crust. It's very tasty, and the flavors blend extremely well. It's very rich in flavor. Price point seems a little high for me, but given the environment, and I'm sure the quality and cost of the ingredients, relative to other things on the menu, this doesn't seem out of line. I'm sure this will be pleasing and filling. So, at last..... "To Fork or not to Fork"... Brier, who started this journey says..... "Just Dig In". I concur read more

I've been a regular here since they opened, although I've not been able to go in more than a few times since COVID started. They are one of the only restaurants I've been comfortable eating at in person during the last year, though. Staff has always been phenomenal. I usually sit at or around the bar, and the bartenders are awesome. Food is delicious, drinks are great, and my whole family loves it. I've got food allergies, and they've been incredibly accommodating and very diligent, making me feel comfortable no matter what I order. Happy to say that their to-go lives up to the same standards. While it's only available through ChowNow, at a slightly higher price than other apps, I'm happy to support local businesses who often lose money with other delivery services. All that being said, tonight I ordered something they used to have on the menu, pre-pandemic. The manager, Andrew, NAILED IT. It was not only delicious, but he packaged it in a way that was probably a pain in the ass for them, but ensured the final product was not soggy or less than amazing. He was kind, helpful, and I'm so glad we ordered from them tonight. So, hey Andrew, thank you!!! I promise to never ask for that on a busy day. Best thing I've eaten in weeks. read more

Great bar with some amazing moonshine cocktails / and excellent food to boot! The fact that this place has been in business for this long in Frisco really makes a statement - a lot of places come and go, but this is a staple on the east side of Frisco. read more

I am sooo impressed at to conflict resolve and attention by management. This is typically where most business fail to get my stars This place already has great good, good prices value and great brunch window. There was a mishap with a little too much steamed juices in my broccoli, I requested if I could get a replacement, and 3 managers came out and checked on me, got me a replacement and didn't make me like I was too demanding. This is a permanent venue on my weekend brunch venue list, I recommend you add it to yours. read more

The corn star tamale dish is great. We order it every time we go. We tried the chicken and biscuits. They are good. I tried the bulgogi tacos. They were disappointing. The cut of meat they use isn't great and I wish they would use fresh corn tortillas. It could use a slaw or pickled veggies. The marinade they use is OK. The meatloaf is (maybe) above decent but nothing special. I didn't care for the sauce. They covered the meatloaf slices with too much sauce (and also put some on the side). It was a bit too much. I like the Notorious FIG cocktail. The service is great and I think they do a good job of handling a full house. The service is great. Overall, a good place to go (especially with the pup) but I don't think I'd put it in the regular rotation. read more

We had high expectation yet was pretty disappointed. Mash'd is a fun place with high energy atmosphere where you get to sit among cool crowds and all the servers are nice and friendly. The decor is all dark woods and red bricks; the space above the bar is decorated with a collage of pop-culture images; food and beverages are innovative - such a trendy place but that's pretty about it, everything else is below par IMO. This place is known for its collection of specialty moonshine cocktails (with names like Blue Moon Mojito, Pineapple Bomb, Russian Hillbilly, Firefly Caramel and Jolly Rancher). We arrived on a Saturday around 12:30pm, the parking lot was busy and inside seemed full of activity. We ordered the Benny's Skillet off the brunch menu and Crab and Shrimps Volcano off the Shareables. They were delivered promptly and piping hot, however neither one of the dishes were finished. The benny was not really flavorful and the hash brown was under-cooked. I had high hopes for the Crab and Shrimps Volcano based on yelp pictures, but it was way too sweet for my liking. I was surprised how popular this place seemed to be. I am not sure if we will go back, but it will not be any time soon. read more

Have tried several times to place an order for staff birthday lunch without success. DoorDash always states what we are ordering is not available and gives no option to order beverages. Even after speaking with manager to place order by phone and pick it up myself, still unsuccessful. Tried to order through Yelp app. Says can't order online. We really wanted to try this restaurant but after several attempts to order lunch delivered or picked up for staff of 10 people, still unsuccessful. Really disappointed. read more

Decided to try something new and made the perfect decision when I went. I'm guessing the guy was a manager, but he grabbed us for 2 spots at the bar and we couldn't thank him enough. MASH'D is one of our favorite spots! Service: Always receive top notch service here. Kali and Skai are always super happy to see you and never let you feel like you aren't being taken care of. Food: I can't say enough good things about the food except that I wish they would bring their tortilla soup from a few years ago back because it was fantastic. The sloppy joe dip is an awesome appetizer, but you can't go wrong with their queso (be sure to add pretzel bites!). I have a number of favorite main plates from the rebellious burger to the rustic salad, chicken and biscuits and bootleg ribs. Tons of amazing food choices. Drinks: The brunch deals are fabulous here. $2 for mimosas, $10 for carafes and $5 for Bloody Mary's make for some good brunch deals. The drinks on the regular menu are great too. The Pineapple Bomb and the Hurricane Manatee are two awesome moonshine drinks. They also have flights of moonshine from low proof to high proof that are great if you have never tried it or want to be adventurous. read more

I stopped in after seeing some great reviews online. The atmosphere of Mash'd is electric for sure. Everyone buzzing around quickly and efficiently. We chose to sit at the bar to avoid the wait time on a Friday evening at dinner. We did have quite a bit of a wait at the bar to get some waters and menus but they were very busy and training new management so it is understandable. Once we ordered the food came out quickly. I did the fish of the day and my guest did the fried chicken. He said it was very good - some of the best he has had. The fish of the day I believe was trout and it was very fresh tasting. I asked for it to be cooked with no butters, oils or seasonings and they hit it spot on for my dietary needs. I will definitely be back to Mash'd on a cheat day so that I can try the mac and cheese and a few other things that look awesome on the menu. They also have a nice outdoor patio but it was too hot to sit there when we came in...maybe for the fall or spring. read more

Most recent update: This place really rocks at cooking. Went there again for the third time in 3 weeks!!Had the Bootleg BBQ Ribs and they were amazing. Great food, great drinks. I happened to visit with a co-worker on National Moonshine Day (apparently that's a thing), and they were offering happy hour all night! Luck was on our side. Our luck continued with dinner. The Illegal Endeavor is the perfect summer evening drink. Part-margarita, part-sangria, this wonderful frozen cocktail is topped with moonshine to boot. We also ordered the bulgogi tacos & fried chicken, both of which were amazing. The one disappointment was the guac. The flavors were on point, but they didn't mash the avocado at all, so it was difficult to keep the guac on the chips. Overall, I enjoyed eating here and appreciate that Mash'd exists in this world. If you're in the area, this is definitely worth your consideration, especially for happy hour. read more
