Great double sided bar. Lots of drinks on the menu and they have several moonshine cocktails. Decent beer selection but if going for brunch try their mimosa. Menu doesnt have a lot but everything is good. I'm gonna say the signature items are in the bar menu. read more

Our server Anslee was great! Great ambience and cute private event space for a small group!

We love Mash'd both for food & drinks (especially the Knockout Punch). We came in to check out token Tuesday and Robbie was our bartender. He was very personable and attentive. We will definitely be back! read more

Made reservations for Sunday brunch. Upon arriving early, we were greeted by the most disgusting smell. My guess was sewer back up. Nobody could tell us why were were smelling it. No answers. Decided to stay to eat. Big mistake. Out of 4 orders, one came out without all the ingredients listed on the menu. Waiter apologized and said his cook was new. Came back later to say the cook remade it but it still didn't contain all the items. So the 3rd time it finally came out right. Food was mediocre at best. We will never be back which is a shame because it's been so long since we were there last and we also drove 1 hr to eat here specifically. read more

A friend of mine went to Mash'd in San Antonio twice when she was visiting a couple weeks ago and gave it rave reviews, so I was excited to come to the Frisco location for my aunt's birthday dinner bash. Since we had another engagement at 6:45, we decided to make a reservation at 5PM for 7-8 people. Right off the bat, the servers and all the other staff at Mash'd made us feel extremely welcome. I was the fourth in the party to arrive, and the servers had already been informed that this was a birthday dinner. Throughout the meal they were extremely attentive, came quickly to bus empty dishes and refill water, and were generally very helpful with the food ordering and delivering process. We ended up ordering several dishes for everyone to share: the serious queso with fried chicken, the crab & shrimp volcano, a half-sized order of the K&Q salad, a full order of the Mash'd meatloaf, the steak mac and cheese (no longer on the official menu but still available!), and a full pound of the combo shake it up seafood with Cajun sauce. Everything we had was delicious, but the highlights for me were the shake it up seafood and the Mash'd meatloaf. I loved the flavor of the snow crab and shrimp as well as the buttery corn on the cob and potatoes. The portion size was also very generous, and the dipping sauce had a great kick to it. The meatloaf was also excellent and soft, served over a bed of flavorful mashed potatoes and with its own tangy house ketchup. The K&Q salad had great textures in it and the citrus mint vinaigrette was very nice. The lemon flavor of the rice in the crab & shrimp volcano was a little overpowering for me, but it was definitely packed with generous amounts of crab and shrimp. The steak mac and cheese was a little bland in flavor but I enjoyed that they included sweet corn in it! The queso was very flavorful and the chips were nice and crispy, and the chicken it came with was fried and seasoned well. My aunt also got the signature frozen Illegal Endeavor to drink, which was basically a frozen margarita (the menu indicates that it includes fresh lemon, moonshine, tequila, organic agave, cayenne, swirled w/ mountain dew sangria, topped w/ blackberry moonshine). I had a sip and it was delicious! At the end of the meal, our servers brought out a free chocolate pot de creme dessert for the birthday girl! We each got to have a bite (or three) and it was extremely good, even for a person like me who isn't super into chocolate. You could definitely taste the hazelnut flavor in the cocoa custard, and each bite was smooth and creamy. All in all, I super enjoyed my first visit to Mash'd and greatly anticipate the next time I get to visit! There are plenty of other things on the menu that intrigued me that I didn't get to try, and the brunch menu looks great as well, so I'll definitely be back. Thanks to the staff for making this a great experience :) read more

My favorite burger in DFW (so far). First of all, the atmosphere is unbelievably amazing, let's get that straight. The mix of indoor and outdoor, homey yet lively are all contrasts that work immeasurably well. I feel like I can come here to get drunk and watch sports the same way I feel like I can slowly drink a coffee and study. Second of all, all the food I've had there has been phenomenal. The wings, the queso, the fried pepperoni, the fries, the Mac n cheese, and the mashed potatoes are all stellar. I'd give every single one of those a solid 8/10. The burger is on another level. The rebellious burger, specifically. I'm not a fan of thousand island so I sub it out for just mayonnaise, and boy can this compete with the best burgers I've had in the world. Number one is still Au Cheval in Chicago, but this makes it into the competition for second place against places like the Loyalist and some overseas ones. This makes it to my second favorite overall burger. read more

The great reviews mean "you gotta try this place!" But everyone has different tastes. Glenda is a meatloaf nut so I knew what she was going to order. I tried the brunch Migas tacos. Glenda's meatloaf was quite good. Certainly different from what mom would make at home. The Migas tacos just didn't ring my bell. They were ok but not something I will order again. The menu has a lot of variety so I will try something else next time. We don't drink much so I can't speak for what everyone seemed to be enjoying. A great place to hang out, so maybe better luck next time! read more

If you're going for the food, pick somewhere else. Drinks may be good but we didn't partake. Food was subpar, trying too hard without the flavor. Not impressed and disappointed in price of our ticket. Too many choices around to go with this one if you want a good meal. read more

Meh. This place gives welcome to chili's vibes. I got the chicken and biscuits and it was pretty bland and underwhelming. The drinks don't hit like they used to. The pineapple bomb used to be sooo good. What happened? It's super sweet and tastes like premade mix now. The service is slow and apathetic. Took me 30mins to get a drink refill. I don't feel a need to return...ever read more

Great food as always, wonderful service, Chuy is fantastic, great evening, thank you guys great restaurant.

Came in for brunch, started with the egg fries, ask for extra chuck Norris gravy! Trust me! Then we shared the eggs benny and the burger omelet, with the Kobe beef, also amazing! We knew the food is great but the service was awesome, amazing drinks made by Kali the bartender and our server Noel was very kind, professional but also patient. We brought in our 4 month old and he was great with us and also the kiddo. As a parent that means a lot! Great job all around. We will be back and very soon, love the remodel and the new menu! Great job Mashd staff, Noel and Kali! read more

Ate here for the first time today. Will not be the last. Came in for brunch and the food was amazing. The service was great. The atmosphere was really inviting and warm. I had a magical sandwich which used French toast for bread, and included cheese and seasoned fried chicken. They also included jalapeño maple syrup, which combined with the sandwich created one of the most decadent food items I have ever seen. I will have dreams of this magnificent beast for years to come. read more

I brought my mom here and she loved it. Very casual and cool decor and amazing drinks. They have a fruity moon shine and it's so good. The salmon dish with brocolli and mashed potatoes is amazing. The service is good and it's Just a great place for out of town friends or family. read more

The price for the food is very overpriced. We ordered the queso and the sloppy joe dip. The queso was very unique. I didn't like it at all. The sloppy joe dip was great. Definitely my favorite thing I tried. But they were $10 each, for not a huge serving. The dinner selection was pretty weak. A couple salads, some sandwhiches and about 6-8 other dinners. Everything was way overpriced. But, the bulgogi tacos were delicious. I came home and had a horrible stomach ache all night, so not sure what it was I ate, but not sure if I'll go back. read more

I pass this place all the time and have wanted to try. I suggested it as a meeting place for a girlfriend and I to catch up. We were seated quickly, 11:00 on a weekday. Server came over immediately and took our drink order. He returned quickly as well to see if we had questions. I inquired about the Superfood Bowl as I saw it online but not on the menu. My mistake, it was there I just overlooked it. Girlfriend ordered the Avocado Smash - it looked very appetizing and she loved it. My Superfood Bowl was flavorful with a lot of variety: broccoli, grapes, sweet potato, carrots. We lingered for 2.5 hours and our server checked on us occasionally. Service was great but I don't know if I'll go back. It didn't really WOW me like I anticipated. One of the corner TVs played funny YouTube videos though! :) read more

Pretty good overall. Food is upscale and very distinct in heavy seasonings and flavors. You MUST try the creme de pots chocolate dessert. Seriously. It's ridiculously good. The chicken sandwich and meatloaf were good. My sisters pulled ribs or pulled pork sandwich was the hot of the table. Always super friendly service. Awesomely fun atmosphere. read more

This place has a really nice vibe, cool decor inside. Our server, Alex, was really friendly, helpful and full of recommendations for food and drinks. This place is known for their moonshine...you can try flights, cocktails or straight up version. The food was pretty good. Great for carnivores, they have limited vegetarian options. Everyone at the table enjoyed their food - favorites were the ribs and meatloaf. Mashed potatoes were good, but garlic-heavy, so it's great if you are a garlic fan. They forgot to leave the pepperoni off my pizza (I'm vegetarian). But after I picked it off, the rest of the veggie pizza was delicious. They make everything from scratch; the pizza dough was excellent. Also, they were so concerned, they apologized a couple times and removed the cost of the pizza from the bill. That was really nice of them to do. I highly recommend a visit. read more

Food is good! But just good, if you know what I mean.... Kind of busy when we went but we'd go for quite a while without our waitress stopping by; I wanted to try one of their cocktails with my fish sandwich, and had to wait 10 minutes with my sandwich before they stopped by and asked if everything was good and if we wanted to order anything else. The menu being a newspaper is kind of cool but it's honestly such a large piece of paper with so many sections it's really hard to track down what you want. The food is pretty uniformly heavy here as well, too greasy and fatty for my palette. The fish sandwich was ok, but very salty; other members of my family got the bulgagi tacos but I didn't think you got enough meat for them to be worth the price. This might be your kind of place, but it was a miss for me... the whole time I was there I wished we were at Blaze pizza instead just down the way! read more

Were in town for a conference, I'm always looking into cool places. We visited Mash'd yesterday for a late lunch and had an incredible time with my business partners. Thank you Alissa for accommodating our big party and giving us an amazing room! We had amazing servers Valerie and Alaina who were wonderful and even that my party kept growing they kept calm and with a pleasant smile to served us, I know how annoying that could be since I was in the industry for many years, so cheers for that! Overall review, Great drinks amazing food excellent service. Congratulations to the team that makes it happen. Until next time! read more

Drinks are original and the food is delicious. Great ambiance either inside or outside.

This place is amazing all thanks to my server Abby. You would think a place known for their moonshine would be suggestion. Nope no one at the bar suggested this but Abby. Stopped by on Sunday After. Quick run at the mall and based on the reviews decided to give this place a true . It was extremely basic until Out of no where this young fire cracker asked me how I was and if I ever been here. I proceeded to tell her no and she was extremely excited to tell me what they where none for...omg So impressed with her recommendation that I had to give one a try. Not only that she brought me a hot towel to clean my hands???? No one has ever ever done this. She only has been at this establishment for three weeks and isn't even drinking age but everyone here could learn from her EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE! read more

Came here after a visit to the mall bc I'd bookmarked it and I was starving. I saw on the yelp photos that they have meatloaf which my lovely bf was craving for. I saw that they had moonshine so that was something new to try. Our server was super nice and helpful and suggested us to try the crab dip who's name escape my brain right now. We also ordered the fruit infused flight, avocado bomb with chicken, and the meatloaf with some amazing mashed potatoes. I liked how our chips with the dip was thicker than normal but still crunchy and not hard. My salad was refreshing yet filling. I did like my bf's mashed potatoes. As for our flight, my favorite moonshine was the peach 1 and coconut. I drank 3 and I didn't get the Asian glow which I get even by drinking a darn beer! Good food and drinks, will come again for sure. I love how their menus are newspapers essentially and the decor is so cute. read more
