Do you want good bar food, a good bar, good beer selection, and sports? You want Kelly's. BTW on my most recent visit, they even had Pappy Van Winkle and I got me a pour. What a treat! Wow! They offer a plant based burger too for us plant based bar ppl who love good beer and bourbon. Be aware- the burger buns have sugar in them making them super sweet and highly addictive. Staff are attentive. Lots of seating options, and a large patio. Known for sports watchin'. Plenty of parking.

Amazing service and great atmosphere! We stopped in prior to a hockey game and were limited on time. We were greeted quickly and our food came out sooo fast despite them being quite busy. Jordan was a rockstar and kept our drinks and bellies full! Everything we ordered was amazing and I am looking forward to visiting again soon

Place has brunch until 2pm Saturday and Sunday. Super friendly staff, plenty of TVs. This was my first time. Wife and I loved it here. Definitely recommend.

From the moment we walked in the door until we left everyone was super friendly! We were sat right were we wanted facing the basketball game and outside to people watch. The restaurant is clean and at that time wasn't too busy. The food was absolutely amazing! I had surf and turf Cobb salad piled high with all the goodness! Ranch was approved by the ranch bandits. All in all we will be back!!!

Ooey Gooey Butter Cake

We left the Allen Americans game early because they were losing so we came into Kelly's to catch the rest of the Cowboys game so the place was packed while everyone was cheering and enjoying the game. We weren't really hungry but grabbed a couple of drinks and I spotted the Ooey Gooey Butter Cake on the menu and that was a wrap. Hubby kept asking me what it was and I couldn't quite figure out the words to describe it, only that it is absolutely dreamy. Ooey gooey butter cake is always served slightly warm, drizzled in caramel and best with ice cream which is exactly how they serve it at Kelly's. This cake is caramely-buttery perfection, I suppose a good way to imagine the flavor being most like butterscotch. This cake is seems magical in that the exterior is always lightly crispy and the center is almost custard like but not quite as creamy, kind of like a slightly underdone brownie. I'm not sure if I could even find all the right words to describe this yumminess but you just have to try it, trust me, just try it and you'll be in love!!

Open on Thanksgiving so the girls group decided to try it. Friendly staff, great service and fun atmosphere as they had football on the TV's. Portions are large!

Chicken tenders with sweet potato fries and green beans. Gravy left front. Back left dessert-like concoction for fries.

The restaurant has an old-fashioned, family-casual vibe that feels welcoming right away. Once we were seated, it didn't take long for our server to come by and take our order. Everyone seemed to be enjoying their food: we saw someone at the table next to us was literally savoring his burger, eyes closed, taking it all in. We started with their famous honey pepper bacon appetizer, and we all enjoyed it. You can definitely taste the honey and the pepper, and they work really well together. The only thing that would've made it even better for me is if the bacon was crunchier (I'm a crunchy bacon kind of person). The chili soup was also good, just a bit too spicy for my taste. My hubby ordered the Mama's pork chop and loved every bite. I really liked the fried okra that came with it you can tell it was freshly sliced, with just the right amount of breading. The mashed potatoes were good too, nice and creamy, topped with gravy. For drinks, I ordered the fall sangria. It was okay, but the flavor was a little different than what I'm used to. It was almost like it had a splash of spritzer in it. For dessert, we tried the vanilla bean ice cream with honey pepper bacon, and wow, that was surprisingly good. The crunchy bacon with a little spice paired really well with the smooth vanilla ice cream. Our server, Jacob, was great. He was attentive, friendly, and very sociable. All in all, our family had a great time, and we really enjoyed the food that was served.

Warm wood tones, beautiful lighting, and that perfect upscale-yet-cozy feel make the whole place feel special. The location is ideal too -- easy to get to and surrounded by that lively Shops at Legacy energy without any of the chaos. But the food? Next level. The elk tacos were straight-up fantastic -- perfectly seasoned, tender elk, fresh toppings, and just the right amount of heat. I could have eaten a second order without hesitation. Then came the chicken fried steak, and it did not disappoint. Crispy, golden crust, juicy and flavorful meat, and that classic creamy gravy that tastes like it was made with love. Every bite was pure comfort food elevated. Everything about the experience felt thoughtful and elevated, yet still warm and welcoming. If you're in Plano and want a restaurant that nails both the food and the atmosphere, Haywire is it. I'm already planning my next visit. Hands-down 10/10. It's got that Texas feel to it, but cleaned up a bit. Comfortable, but still a little polished. The food was really solid across the board. You know how brunch can sometimes just be... fine? This wasn't that. Everything tasted like someone actually cared about it. Good seasoning, cooked right, and just enough creativity without overdoing it. It still felt like brunch, just done properly. Drinks were great too. Not over-the-top, just well-made and easy to enjoy. Definitely the kind of place where one turns into two without much convincing. Service was smooth--friendly, attentive, but relaxed. Nobody hovering, nobody rushing you out. Just a good flow to the whole meal. We ended up sitting there longer than we planned, just hanging out and enjoying it, which probably says the most. If you're in Frisco and want a brunch spot that actually feels worth going to, Haywire's a safe bet.

We told our server that between me and my wife, we will be sharing the chicken sandwich and hence requested that it be sliced into 2. Not only were the burgers sliced, it was served in separate plates with sides as well - that was a really nice touch. Cali was a bit bland, Buffalo and Burg B Q were both really nice. The drink was nice as well. There was live music but we were seated near a table that was pretty boisterous, could hardly hear anything. The outdoor seating overlooking greenery and events they do at the restaurant make the place quite different - we will definitely be back soon to try other options on the menu.

Located in a never-ending strip mall in Allen, we walked in and got our name on the list. It was 11:30 am, so the early church crowd was coming in alongside us. We were told it would be about 30 minutes, but it ended up only being about 10. Inside, Sunview is loaded with Texas décor all over the walls. It feels pretty small, but they definitely take advantage of every corner of the space for seating with their booths and tables. The prices are pretty fair for a brunch spot. One thing that definitely caught me off guard was how many things were on their double-sided menu. It felt like a legal document with how extensive it was. It is definitely overwhelming, but I locked in and ordered a Meat Lover's Omelet. It's filled with bacon, sausage, ham, and American cheese. For my sides, I got hash browns and two pancakes, which is a steal for a $14 omelet. It wasn't long before the food came out, and I crushed the omelet. It needed some salt and pepper personally, but it was pretty good and hearty, especially with the pancakes as a side. The impression from my brother and sister-in-law was that they wanted to come back here often, and I'll probably find myself returning next time I'm in Dallas. This being our first time, we weren't sure of the seating situation. I walked to the back, where the to-go pick up was located, to find that we can sit anywhere and that someone would come and help us. We did, and they did. I suggest you stop in and give Curuba a try. Very reasonable prices, lots of menu choices, wonderful staff, oh, did I mention the coffee? I love dark roast coffee, "Just black, please". We started off with the empanada sampler and Marcilla au gratin . Not big fans of the marcilla - way too much dairy . The sausage itself was good, but wouldn't get it again . Our favorite empanada was the calentao followed by the brisket. The chicken was just ok. We both agreed that our main course, the sancocho de costilla was yummy .
