American Airlines broke the wheel off my suitcase during my last trip, and so I was in need of a new one. Shopped all around and brought one home from Nordstrom Rack and TJ Max. At the end of what ended up being an 18 hour day, I found myself returning the TJ Max suitcase. But, as I showed the suitcase to the woman at checkout at Marshall's she informed me that I was at the wrong store, the tag on the case said TJ Max. We laughed, and I said "Oh no, where is the closest TJ Max?" Well it was 20 min away. I must have looked like I deflated into the floor. Then as I walked out Sadie called to me, "Sir, I can help you." I'm like, what do you mean?, this is Marshall's. Then she informed me that Marshall's and TJ Max are owned by the same parent company and that she knew how to do the return. What a random act of kindness, I was so grateful for that exceptional customer experience. A super special thanks to Sadie for letting me get home to see my kids and have some dinner instead of sending me on a trek to find the closest TJ Max. Thank you so much! read more

Beware of Marshall.com and ordering on line, it may not end well. On Feb. 4th ordered silver go-go boots for a costume. I received brown furry Sasquatch boots instead. I immediately went to my local store and showed them my receipt. Since the picture of what I ordered and what I received they could not do the return in store. REALLY? The problem seems pretty obvious and was definitely NOT of my making.they wouldn't even do a store credit. MY receipt clearly showed what I ordered and how much I spent. They referred me to Marshall 1-800.I called on 5 separate days and spoke to 5 different people, each assuring me they would email a return label. I didn't get any return labels (yes, of course I checked my junk emails). This seems pretty incompetent considering the original order,and subsequent follow up emails were sent to the proper email address; clearly they have it. I am at a total loss and pretty disgusted with the entire process. read more

Ran in this Marshall's after spending more than half an hour in the Nordstrom Rack in the same plaza. There wasn't anything that popped out at me. The shoes weren't in my sizes that I'd wear or buy. The quality of the wallets were mediocre. Now I did like a few of the name brand hand bags. They closing soon so I just left. Maybe I'll arrive earlier just to see if there's anything else that interests me at this location. read more

I was in the area and I had volunteered to help my neighbor out by giving her a ride to an eye dr appointment. They were going to dilate her eyes so she needed a ride. I had an hour to kill so I came in to look around. The first thing I noticed was the racks barely had any stock on them. The items they had seemed good, just not a lot to choose from. I watched a woman shopping and she reached out to another shopper that she didn't know, asking for her opinion. She said she had an event that evening and wondered what she thought of this black and white blouse that could be paired with white or black pants. It was a cute blouse and I'm not sure if she tied it like it was or if she saw it on the rack that way. She tried it on over her clothes right there in the aisle. I'm not sure if she ended up buying it or not, but I thought it looked good. I would come back to the store again, hoping that they had more items to choose from. read more

This location is in the richest part of town, and yet every time I go, it smells like urine BAD. The staff is also disconnected and uninterested. I'd rather drive further to Lewisville or Dallas, as those stores are always great. Hopefully the GM, RM, or DM reads this and does something (at minimum) and the awful smell at this store off preston. read more

This is one of our favorite stores to come to because of the location, the selection, and the CUSTOMER SERVICE. But the last few times we have walked in to the bathrooms its stinky and plain dirty. Marshall's, I think it's time to give the bathrooms a remodel and check your bathrooms at least every hour. read more

Brought my grandmother here because she couldn't remember the name of a store I took her to. She wanted cute light weight dresses for church and that's what she found. I even copped some Nike shoes to workout in. Never fails that I find something I want/need at this location. read more

Store does not train new cashiers! Had to reutrn 2 items, 2 receipts. The new guy was not sure how. The front blk young female came over to finish my transaciton, but LEFT wo/showing him how to do it! Receipt did not print-as that was what I was waiting for! He had to call MOD, who took more time. MOD did not explain it to him, or me. She also had no clue why it was shorting me .01. I had to input my cr ard to get the penny! In the last yr - they always say no cr card is needed to return, with receipt. Wrong. Marshalls needs to train staff on CS skills, processes, how to print a receipt, oversight, & training new people! A sinple return should take 1 minute - not 25! No oversight or helping new cashiers! Had same return issue at a different store for same items! So stupid. read more

I bought a defective item from Marshall and they ask me to fall the manufacturer and return the item myself. What is the value add of Marshall then? This item was purchase within 14 days. There is a 14 days return policy. I spent need to handle this myself. I won't come again. Not to any Marshall store. read more

I also found a giant tolberone candy bar for $5, it was greatness and I found a pair of shades for $10, that were pretty nice. Back in SoCal I was spoiled to have the ultimate Marshall's down the street from my home. It has been a little bit more difficult to find a great Marshall's in Dallas, but this one is the best I have found. They have a great home decor section and children's department, but their shoe and women's section lacks a bit. i love marshalls stores and this is my favorite location. some stores are more homegoods heavy, while others are more athletic etc. it really all depends on the location and the customer base that they're catering to. However, i find that this location has a good mix of everything. clothing, home goods, skin care, pet care, shoes. there's a nice balance and i could spend forever browsing all the racks and aisles looking for gems. I find that there's a lot of skincare items that Nordstrom Rack also carries...however, marshalls is almost always cheaper. i've found some gems here, from dresses, to fake planters, art, etc. I especially love to stock up on greeting cards and gift packaging at marshalls. not only is it cheap, it's adorable and good quality. cards and bags usually run no more than $1-$2 each...why spend $5-$8 for a similar greeting card in some fancy card store?! read more

Pretty organized store and friendly staff. There are some good finds here with home decor though not quite as good as some other locations. I was able to find ONE set of Kate Spade dish towels that were really cute that I hadn't ever seen before. read more

Oh my goodness. Every time I come into this store I'm spending around $30 because I CAN NOT RESIST. They literally have everything I need, and such affordable prices. They have clothes that are in style for great deals, and makeup that's nice quality but you have to dig for it. I found an Anastasia contour palette for $19! The list goes on, it's fantastic. The sales associates are always great and are there to help out. I feel very welcome by them and they're always very friendly. The lines can get long but it's okay because there's about a million items on shelves within the line to distract (and tempt) you. The lines go by quickly and you're just wanting to turn around for more. It's my favorite store for anything pretty much! read more

I'm a bit of a bargain shopping junkie, so Marshall's is an easy way to get a quick fix. Granted, the stores are generally a bit disorganized, but I don't mind a little digging. Overall, they have a large variety of options for everyone in the family. I wasn't real thrilled with the young girls' section, though the selection for young men was much better stocked. This location also has an extensive home goods section, which hold some hidden treasures every now & again. And hats off to the staff, who are always friendly despite dealing with the messy madness that keeping the place running must be! read more

This place is NOT good for finding clothing-treasures. For those who are 18+. Like Karrlie O. mentioned, the shoe selection is kind of depressing UNLESS you know EXACTLY what you want (i.e. women's section). The clearance section blows. This is where Macy's, Dillard's, and American Eagle recycle their old items. The likes of Urban Outfitters is rare. In fact, I don't think I've ever seen it in THIS store (Houston one is a different story). Lingerie = decent Home department = decent and sprawled to the right side and far back of the store. And since I know what I want, I usually breeze right through the store empty handed. read more

This is a great Marshalls. They truly have designer brands for less. Last time I was here, I picked up a pair of BCBG flats with zipper designs for $27 on the sale rack. Original price was $60+. They men's section is pretty good and I can always find some athletic wear for hubby. Make sure to check our the hair and beauty shelves, you can find some expensive brands on the cheap! read more

Great clothes and even better prices! I get all of my dress shirts from here and they are all the top name brand shirts but for $10-17! I wish they had a better and bigger selection of jeans and shoes for men though. Other than that I really can't complain. Nice staff too. read more
