My…read moreissue is with a fitting room policy that makes absolutely no sense from a customer's perspective. I walked into the fitting room area with three shirts. The employee counted them which is completely reasonable. Then I was told I could not enter because they were not on hangers. I explained that I picked them up from the sales floor without hangers and asked for three hangers. They gave them to me but then told me I still had to place every shirt back onto the rack outside the fitting room before I could go in. So I had to hang the shirts on the rack outside the dressing room just so I could walk inside and immediately remove them again. There was no purpose to it other than creating extra work and slowing the process down. As I was leaving I watched another customer get stopped because she had not rehung her clothing before exiting. Customers are now expected to do work that fitting room attendants have always handled. Retail stores are competing with online shopping where convenience is everything. Policies like this make the in store experience slower more frustrating and less enjoyable. I hope someone at the corporate level reevaluates whether this policy is actually helping anyone because from a customer's perspective it only creates unnecessary inconvenience.

I bring along charcuterie and fruit trays to family gatherings that are square shaped instead of rectangular and they haven't fit in my current cooler. I happened to find a cooler that fit my criteria on the Target app! The price was less than any I could find on Amazon. I have documented my experience today from ordering and then picking up my Igloo 60 quart cooler on wheels at Target. I added the cooler to my cart and it was not available for pickup at my closest Target location. It is great that they list where your item is in stock and how many miles away it is. Once I checked out, it said it could take up to two hours before my order would be ready. Before I knew it, I received an email letting me know my order was ready. It asked that I let Target know when I was headed to the store so they would be ready for me when I got there. Then click on the "I'm Here" button. Enter your parking spot number and a brief description of your vehicle type & color. Then you are given a 4 digit code to show the Target associate bringing out your order. Everything was easy peasy and the young man bringing orders out to the cars in 100 degree heat was doing a wonderful job. I would certainly be a return customer. Service was right on target! pardon the pun! I was impressed with my brief look inside the store. The store is well lit and seems so light and airy. The ceilings look really high and the store is clean and welcoming.

The Summer I Turned Into a Homegoods Shopper…read more I've never been into a Homegoods in my life but recently became very intrigued. I was out for a walk and decided to stop in. I found some cute items for Fall (Football platters for Game Day snackies, Fall candles, cute Halloween decor and a cozy blanket that's really helped make my sofa feel a bit more homey). I came back a week later to purchase a couple of Fall candles to gift to my baristas because they are the sweetest. I wanted a thoughtful little surprise for them. They know I've been struggling with this "mild" Texas summer and can't wait until Fall. I thought the candles would be a nice little gesture for them being little beacons of light during my weekdays.
