I find that, not only are they often higher priced than Amazon or the cosmetic stores, but all too often they are defective, and can't be used. It is a complete waste of money, as Rack will not accept it for return, even if you literally just bought it, only to find, say, the pump straw completely missing from a pump dispenser product, so it is impossible to use. Spend the time to get all hair and beauty products at Sephora or Ulta, where they will accept a return if the product is defective.

I just left the mall and am still annoyed because absolutely no one working there so much as acknowledged myself or my husband when we walked through the area to look for some moisturizing cream. There are no other customers and every single sales person was either on their phones or chatting with a coworker. I've worked in retail my whole life and it's not always pleasant but I was trying to look for something specific to buy. I'm not going to slop on makeup and get dressed up so I can give them my money. Do not shop here and support the abhorrent behavior of these salespeople. They're completely unprofessional and don't deserve any commission. I feel sorry for the other departments because the staff in baby/kids is always helpful without being too aggressive. Last week, the woman working in the Men's Department hounded me about opening a Dillard's card (no thanks) then basically begged me to come back and make my future purchases when she's working so she gets the sales. Weird, customer experience, but ok. I wash everything before I wear it, and the shirt I bought was no exception. The shirt pilled and had an unseeable defect in the weave of the fabric. I went to exchange it, before even a week passed. The weird gal who sold me the shirt wasn't working (thankfully) but a guy who didn't seem like he knew what he was doing named Syed was. He called the assistant manager over... she was going to exchange it due to the defect... until I noted the shirt had been washed in a mesh delicates bag, she then tells me, "Oh, we can't exchange this, it's not in its original condition"... but clearly there was something wrong enough with the fabric that it pilled in two places... that's poor quality. I told them to keep the shirt... it was falling apart. People complain about Dillard's and their hostile customer policies and how they often won't stand by what they sell... and I never really understood why... now I completely understand. Done with Dillard's. There's absolutely nothing they sell that you can't find at Macy's on the low end and Nordstrom on the high end.

I look and realize the two bottles that fuse together like one big gummy are expired and the one not fused together fixing to expired. I brough them back immediately and got refund. Don't their stockers scan products regularly on the shelves and remove expired and fixing expired products; then bring them back either tossed them or return them to the manufacturers for some credit? I guess they do not and just leave expired stuff on the back shelves and mixed in with other products so they can sell to online purchasers.
