When we arrived there was a table with handheld mirrors and waters ready to go. Rick was our makeup artist today! He's amazing! Took the time with each one of us to listen to our wants and needs. He also taught us how to use the products. Bought several new items to go with all my trish products. So happy with the makeovers and all the products. Always love getting samples and Beaty event bags. Sarah always hooks me up with the offers and samples! She is such a joy! So glad she scheduled us with Rick too! Avoid this Neiman Marcus at all costs!! And definitely do not go and expect them to uphold the high standard that Neiman's typically delivers. They will follow you around glaring, and treat you as if you're seconds away from committing armed robbery. Then, when it is time to check out be prepared to spend 15 minutes wandering around looking for the same employees that were just stalking behind you you're entire shopping experience. Super nice, normal and friendly staff who will do everything possible to ensure you have an ultimate experience. (No snobs on staff.) Today I drove 20 minutes from HP to go to this store specifically. (The Downtown and Northpark location are no where close in giving a great experience! Those employees are aloof, or on busy days - frazzled and can barely deal with 2 customers at the same time.) I was greated by a nice lady as I walked in who answered 2 questions I had. A few minutes later I passed her again and she offered to alert the cologne staff I was headed that way. Awesome VIP service to a unknown customer! (Nafise - you are fabulous!) At the cologne area, Geraldyne took 45 minutes to help me evaluate Tom Ford colognes. It was so fun - and there was a vendor rep who joined us and helped. I had a blast!!! So, they gave me 3 sample tubes of the Tom Fords I likes most. But then they pulled out 14 other samples of high end men's colognes!! They even included the #1 winner of the best cologne in the world too (it won the world wide FIFI cologne competition). Then I got to chat for 30 minutes with Nafise on my way out. Turns out she is on the management team and awesome to know. Personally, I've not had such a great Neimans experience in decades. I'll NEVER go to Northpark or Downtown again. She didn't greet us, and from the moment we walked in, it was clear she had no intention of helping. At Willow Bend is this big department store which is pretty expensive and in fact a little bit more expensive than some of the other department stores. Barbie enjoyed browsing here for a good 15 mins or so, they have lots of stuff but we probably prefer Penney's. She says NM is "Bougie and Old School." I have just listened to a conversation with my wife calling Neiman Marcos Customer Support and the WIllowbend store concerning an items she purchased in the store. Customer Service at NM is not what it used to be. Rather than helping her the Customer Service agent told her to call the store rather than assisting. She called the store and the operator connected her to the alterations department rather than customer service. The person in alterations told her they could not help her or transfer her anywhere and she needed to call back. She once again called NM and was transferred to a sales associate who told her that "ONLY" the person she worked with at the store could help her and the she would call my wife back. Truly unbelievable for NM. We all expect more NM. NM you need to up your game before you go the way of the Dodo. read more

I called back this time I got the name of the representative, Ernesto. I shared with him the awful experience with his colleague. Ernesto looked up my order and said it would deliver today. I never received any updates "Previously". He shared he would send me an email. It shows waiting for carrier pick up. He lied and shared is shows delivery today 01/28/23. I have shopped at the NM at Willow Bend several times. I can honestly say that every time I have been there, regardless of department, I am greeted and helped immediately and in a friendly manner. Today I purchased several Creed fragrances and found not have been more pleased with my customer service! They even provided sample sizes for my upcoming trip to accommodate for TSA standards! Two days ago, I purchased a beautiful Rag and Bone dress from Nina and she was absolutely fabulous as well. I am not a huge clothes shopper but I will say that when I need something original and stylish, I will choose NM Willow Bend first because of their customer care. It's really that good. I do most of my Neiman Marcus shopping online however when I need to return something or shop in person this is usually my go-to store. It's located at Willow Bend Mall and it's never quite as busy as the North Park store. This particular shopping experience there was for my daughter's birthday as she wanted some Tom Ford cologne. Neiman Marcus has the full line, so it made for the perfect place to go. That is also where some disappointment came in. It seems like perfume/cologne sales people always try to upsell and cross-sell, even when you come in knowing exactly what you want, and that behavior annoys me. Hello my name is Bitsy and I'm a shopaholic. It has been one day since my last retail-induced experience and I want to share it with you. If you're a fan of the classics, NM is where it's at. I must warn you, this location is kinda small. But you can always get your red bottom pumps and your Chanel No. 5, and they usually even have some little sale racks you can browse through and pretend you're getting a bargain. For real though, I've actually gotten some great deals on jeans and work dresses at random times. The 4 stars are for the service - even when I'm a hot mess, the sales staff is friendly, attentive and helpful. Not in a pushy, knock each other down for a commission, pulling clothing I can't afford and would never consider wearing kind of way, they're just doing a good job. I was surprised to read the comments about inattentive employees "I sit on $50 panties and the dumb blonde ignored me" (yikes) and the assumptions about not looking wealthy enough to be noticed. Have you seen me in my messy bun, ripped up Pantera shirt and last night's eyeliner? I do just fine at this store. 'I purchased an expensive Cle De Peau Eye Contour Balm with the claim that it visually reduces wrinkles with retinol. I was also told by the associate it could help my eye concealer go on smoothly (which it did not at all). I was not informed of a very limited return window. Tried it a couple of months, found no sign of improvement , and took it back. When the refund was processed I was told in a very cold manner, not by the associate, but by the manager, the policy for returns is just one month. How can anyone assess a product like this in just one month?! I don't like the way I was treated and I will never buy any cosmetics from Newman Marcus again. Ive been to this Neiman Marcus a few times for shoes and makeup. Its not my favorite one to go to but its close to my house. The shoe department is tiny. They dont have half the selection that Northpark has. If you need a pair ordered they'll tell you they will order them and have them waiting at the store for you in 2-3 days. This actually ends up being more like 5-7 days. The Chanel makeup counter always seems to be lacking in employees. Every time I go to get makeup I have to wait around for someone or go find someone myself. They also lack inventory. On three occasions Ive gone in for lipstick or lip gloss and they have been out. Of course they tell me they can have it shipped from the Northpark store which is where I probably should have gone to begin with. Overall an ok store. I would recommend going to the Northpark store over this one. Better customer service and a better inventory. read more

My review is based on two interactions in two sections of the store: 3.5/5: customer service in the shoe area was decent but it also wasn't busy. I was looking for a pair of brown dress shoes, but the style I was looking for (clean cut and simple/classy) was limited in selection and high in price. I didn't feel supEr comfortable when I was getting helped out. It felt more like the associate was trying for a quick sell. 5/5: went looking for a cologne and subsequently ran into Sue near the front entrance. She is a GEM!! She made me feel so welcome and so at home. I really appreciated her customer service and care. She went the extra mile to prepare a sample for me when I was interested in a fragrance. It's definitely a big investment decision so that was nice. I went back the following week, and we caught up and I looked around for more options. I have been here several times. Made big purchases, made small purchases. Dressed up, dressed down (or somewhere in the middle). I've never had any issues with service. In fact, of all the Neiman Marcus stores I've been to, the staff here has been the friendliest and most helpful. It is a smaller store so their inventory isn't as good as NorthPark or bigger stores. The shoe department is small. But they have a great selection of handbags compared to other stores. The staff members are always willing to help me find something if they don't have it in stock at their store. I've made purchases in the men's department, handbag, shoes and clothes. I've never had any issues. I love that they aren't as snooty as some NM stores. read more

I collect fragrances, and for my husband's birthday wanted to treat him to a nice cologne. We were also potentially looking at something new for me. We started out with Mimi at the Creed counter, and let me tell you, she's a doll. Just the sweetest woman, and truly takes the time to help you find something you will love without pressuring you or presuming anything. She ended up having to make some samples for another guest, so we split off, planning to come back to her, but then ended up at the MFK counter with their particular representative. The woman at that counter was nice and helpful enough, however when we changed our mind on something we had considered buying, all of the sudden her attitude had changed and the niceties were done away with. Mimi happened to be standing there, though, and she said "well no worries whenever you guys are ready we will be here," in the nicest way. I do plan on buying it now, we just wanted some time to consider all the options we had tested. Guess who I'm going to specifically buy it from when I go back? They have a decent inventory...I enjoy coming here to browse the cosmetics section and there's always a new women's fragrance to try. The girls at the counter are always so helpful and friendly. For the man in your life they do have a nice selection of men's shoes and ties. Love looking at the ladies shoe section as well although they are pricey...it's nice to browse, kind of like a museum! Parking on this side of the mall is not as crazy as over by the food court. I do not normally come here, but today my main reason was to try on a pair of Christian Loubotin that I have had my eyes on for a bit. I wanted to try it on before spending or better yet buying then having the hassle to return and exchange for a size. I walked in and was glancing at the shoes and Joe Martinez approached me, if he can be of help. I told him what I was looking for and unfortunately the Prive open toe pumps I wanted to try was sold out. So, I decided to try the Catchy open toe pumps in a 38, which they did not have stocked. Joe at least had me try a 39 to get a feel for it. I told him I want to come back and actually try the actual sizes and hopefully I can make a purchase the next time it is stocked. I called my bank, nothing so I called NM Willow Bend / Olivia....she says it takes 7-10 BUSINESS days for the return. WAIT WHAT!?! I guess NM holds the money in their bank for 10 working days ... I wonder how much interest they're making holding that kind of money? That makes me wonder ...when I bought the gift with my bank debit card and I told them that they wouldn't get MY money for 10 BUSINESS days I seriously doubt they would let me walk out with that merchandise. Many item 40% off original price, even summer wear. Truly a steal! They offer a fabulous personal shopping service for those of us that prefer a more exclusive and was of use experience. For those of us that prefer to stroll the glistening racks of immaculate clothing, sweet perfume, and incredible jewelry, you won't be met with a lack of anything...including excellent and attentive sales associates. They made me feel welcome from the time I entered to the time I was handed a receipt. They made every effort to assist me in finding the perfect items without being intrusive. Neiman's did a great job at taking care of me while I was on my search for my bridal gown. I didn't end up purchasing here but I truly loved my experience. Only thing that I wish was different, now this was probably because I went alone, was that I was able to walk the floor with the stylist nor was I allowed to leave the room I was in. I was a little confused as to where my guest would sit, if I did bring any, since there was a couch and chairs in the room but I was also changing in there. Only then that! Friendly yet not too pushy. They also have a nice little Chanel boutique. ***For Louis Vuitton boutique, rating would be 1 STAR but sole reason for higher raitng is an awesome associate named Jasenka, worthy of 5 stars. Otherwise, manager (Rosa?) is terrible and other associates are mediocre. Being a former LV fan of over a decade, we've now converted to other luxury handbag brands. The associates in luxury handbags at NM, Willowbend as well as at Northpark Center are much more personable and consistent in service. NM has a great returns policy but the rewards points system is unstructured - getting resolution for points not properly rewarded can be VERY difficult & cumbersome. read more
