A few months ago I ran to this Nordstrom Rack. It's been such a long time since I've shopped in a Nordstrom's or the Rack's lol. There was one female employee that had her nose tooted up in the air, not sure what that was about. I wanted to ask a question but her energy was giving unapproachable and don't ask me Sh.. I was there until closing which was maybe 30-40 minutes. I was looking around for a nice dress to wear to church for Mothers Day. Everything I saw that was worth wearing was either three sizes too small or my late Grandmothers style of clothes. Now don't get me wrong, the shoes were all hip. Just there was a huge seniors collection maybe that's to keep the younger Rift raft from coming in. I'd only shop here for shoes solely. What in world happened here!!!!????? This shopping experience just gave me a headache! The first thing you see when you walk in is a bunch of sunglasses being shoved in your face. Then you turn right and all the purses are getting me dizzy! Then it gets worse, as you make your way in there is clothing racks stuffed with items making it unable to flip thru the items. This place has gone downhill in a major way. The merchandise used to come from their stores with supplemental merchandise coming through direct purchase. Today you are lucky to find anything from their stores and the buyers fill the racks with low-tier, faux brands. I'm sure this is done to "enhance shareholder value." Just bought a pair of birkenstocks from here and they put the sticker on the inside of the shoe... the sticker doesn't peel off at all and has so much residue left on it from there. It also took some of the bottom part of the birkenstocks off with the sticker part that did come off. They need to go back to putting them on the soles of the shoes cause these are kinda pricey to have this problem happening to them. The lines were also 20-25 people long with only two people helping. read more

Out of all the Rack's in the area, I have to say this location is my favorite. It may not be the most organized, but it definitely has the most stock. there's a lot of shoppers in the area, and you really have to dig for gems....but i find amazing deals here sometimes! They're currently having their 'clear the rack' sales which is an additional 25% off redline clearance items. i got a black jumpsuit that was originally $100+ for only $3. That's right...$3!!!! That's INSANE! like i said though....this location is SUPER busy, so don't be surprised if there's quite a line at the checkout. there's associates all around the store though that can ring you up. however, they're pretty good about having multiple cashiers at the main checkout area that keeps the lines moving. i also love that you can return online rack/hautelook purchases in store. you just need the order # and it'll refund directly to the original form of payment. so you don't need to fumble with cards or signatures. scan, return, and go. & you'll get an email confirmation of your return. so convenient!! read more

Found the perfect dress for an event only to try it on and it have 5 holes down the sides. Asked if I can buy it anyway and they would only give 10% off per the manager who never came up front to see the dress. You all would rather not make a sale and disappoint a customer. The dress was not at any other location in the DFW area. Need it by Saturday so I can't order online. Very disappointed and dissatisfied. I shop here regularly. read more

I ordered a pair of Hunter boots on line and when they came in, I opened the box and pulled the first boot out and there was blood on numerous places. I chatted with someone online and they told me there was no email for a supervisor and then they "gave" me a number to call which just ended up being a customer service number to which i spoke to a supervisor and was coincidentally hung up on TWICE. I left an email for her adding pictures and guess what? Yup haven't heard anything back and its been 4 almost 5 hours..... so needless to say with Covid and what not these boots have been chunked in the trash.... GROSS!!!!!!!! One of my favorite Rack locations. Always packed full with inventory: watches, handbags,perfumes, of course clothes (men and women), and SHOES, SHOES, SHOES! Heels, flops, runners,...lots of women's boots on clearance right now. I stop in whenever in the area just to "look" and inevitably find something I just have to have but had no idea I needed. Like a pair of awesome boots last night. I my defense, I didn't own a pair of that exact style. Rock on! If you like to "look" like I do, this is the place for you. This store is a fail. I've been going here since the store opened and now it is the basement of basement stores. Employees and "persons" in charge are clueless. Merchandise all over the floor, hats, makeup, jewelry..awful. First day of clear the rack not one handbag there on clearance . When I asked if they eliminated them to three different employees they all shrugged shoulders except one nice gentleman who didn't know but apologized ! Also an altered and refinished tag pair of pants . When I asked why they weren't the same price as on the app I was told by one "manager" oh that's just a tag " lol. When I questioned why it would say altered he glared at me and said this is the price and walked away. Asked another "manager" got another story about it being last years piece (isn't most of the stuff there??) but the question remained puzzling. So I can buy the exact same pair (size and price) on the app that hasn't been altered ? Answer was yes. Ok that makes no sense whatsoever . They seem to have a lot of junk and very few nice pieces and couple that with the employees on the floor I interacted with , I just said goodbye to my 7 pieces ready for purchase and left. I'll gladly drive -0 miles out of my way to the the Nordstrom Racks. Take the Nordstrom out of the store name and that's exactly what you have left here. read more

This place is a mess. They have a good amount of items but you tend to have to dig. If you purchase something from Nordstrom online or in the mall you can actually return it here. The prices here are decent but the clothes selection isn't amazing. My boyfriend has more luck finding things more than me. Came here for some retail therapy since that's what everyone has been telling me is cool. And they have an amazing selection with decently priced brands that are high end. However they have a discounted price abd address very affordable. Izod, Hugo Boss, Kenneth Cole, under Armour, Adidas,Nike, and much more. I was very impressed with the selection and they also have an amazing clearance section with even lower priced items. I tried on a few outfits and they had my size as a fitness fanatic it's difficult to find the perfect size sometimes but that wasn't an issue here. My associate was Juan he was really cool and patient and even told me that I earned a few Nordstrom points and could save money on my next purchase. With some of the best brand in the industry it's no wonder this place gets so much business. I would recommend anyone go here. read more

Not the best "mix" at this Rack location - though there is lots & lots of stock. I can only speak to the women's clothing selection, but most of it was pretty much junk. Probably 70%+ was "filler" - low end, no-name stuff brought in just for the outlet. Most of the rest was denim and casual wear so if you're looking for dressier items, this might not be the best location for you. Little to no "designer" items or items that ever actually saw the inside of a real Nordstrom. Lots and lots of Vince Camuto stuff though...he must be the next Ed Hardy or something. The shoe area is large but jumbly (typical of Racks). Accessories were so/so. Prices are typical for any Rack (they seem to be pretty well standardized nationwide).If you have time to dig, you might find a treasure. Otherwise, you can get the same crappy acrylic blend sweaters for less money at Marshalls in the same strip mall. read more

I ordered from the website on Monday morning. $7.95 delivery charge. Stated 1-3 dispatch date. I assumed it would be here Friday LATEST. Amazon get you your stuff next day for less than half that - these days you can't justify charging someone if it's going to take longer than 3-5 working days. I just got a notification (Thursday - 4 days after ordering) to say it would be next Tuesday. Customer service did nothing, absolute joke, could've gone to cobblers school, sourced the materials and made the shoes myself in that time. read more

Usually I wouldn't spend the time to rate a store like this, but the experience I had here was unique (In a good way). I came to this store to swap out a pair of jeans that were a bit too small for me, but I ended up having to wait an hour longer than expected. However, it wasn't the store's fault. Another customer had been holding up the checkout line at around 8pm. He was yelling at an employee about some bogus fraud charges and began threatening the cashier. The manager eventually came, but the customer continued yelling to no prevail. The 11+ customers that were in line were obviously annoyed, but the store's staff managed the situation well. Another worker came by without even being asked and opened another register, allowing the line to move faster. He also worked fast so each transaction was quick and easy. I gave this place 5 stars for the way the employees managed the situation and kept their composure. Although it escalated quite a bit, they managed to make it faster in the end. I would like to give my appreciation specifically to the male cashier that opened another register and swapped my pants in literally seconds. To any business owners, managers, or yelpers that are just reading this, people will always come into stores yelling about "suing the store" or "I'll call my attorney". Just tell them to do it because 999/1000 times, it's a bluff and complete bulldiddy. For that one time out of 1000, they most likely will lose the case and end up wasting their own time and money. read more

I like Nordstrom Rack, but this one is always SO FREAKING BUSY. It doesn't matter what day or time I come, there are always a ton of people. This location also does not have as great a selection as the one by Galleria. I also feel like the customer service is not as good as that store either, but to be fair the employees here are always run ragged by how busy it is. I like that some of the merchandise I see in here is some of the same merchandise I've seen in an actual Nordstrom. I feel like some of the items here are extremely well priced and are great steals and some are still not any cheaper than what you find on the sale rack at Nordstrom. I normally just stick to the clothes and don't get shoes here because the way they organize their shoes is a little overwhelming and difficult to look through. They do have some great brands (Wacoal, Natori, etc.) and prices in their bras and underwear if you happen to find your size. Their return policy isn't as great as Nordstrom, but you do get 90 days so it's not too bad. read more

In terms of selection and cleanliness, this is one of the better Nordstrom Racks I have seen. The men's section is about 1/3 of the store while women have other 2/3. The dressing rooms are well-maintained, and the employees are helpful, especially when not too busy. With some hunting, you should be able to find something you like. Although I didn't buy anything, it was only because I'm more price-sensitive than the typical customer. There are some high end shoes available as well. Just one huge problem with this location is every time I am here , and I am coming for shopping here 2-3 times a week for already 5-6 years it's absolutely impossible to be here inside of the store because of the extremely laud music . it's gives you a feeling that you are in the night club !, but not in the store . Ok so here are the things you need to know about Nordstrom Rack: 1. Go during the day when most are at work so you're not waiting in a long line to check out or waiting for someone to get out of your way so you can look at something. 2. Skip the shoe section- it's difficult to find something you have to have and most are damaged with little nicks or scratches because of how they keep them... go to DSW instead. 3. Great place to find bras, even the hard-to-find sizes, at FANTASTIC prices. 4. Accessories heaven... sunglasses, jewelry, hats, watches, handbags, etc. 5. You can find good deals on clothing (e.g. True Religion jeans for half price) but you do have to dig a little and it can be hit or miss. Because this location is right by house, I frequent it just to see if there is anything worth buying. I don't go here when I need something for a specific occasion- I go here for preemptive shopping (i.e. when I don't need that item now but I might at some point in the future so I might as well get it now at a good price.) I have to agree with Ana about the lines here. This was my first time at this Nordstrom Rack, as I went to the Park Lane location first. Am I even in the same store? What a mess! I don't know the history behind this store, but from the looks of it, I am guessing this store has been open for a while. It wasn't as nice as the other NR, in that it was cluttered and dirty. I headed directly to the shoe department in hopes of finding the Jessica Simpson shoe that the other NR didn't have. I didn't find it, but what I did find was a very unorganized chaotic mess. Apparently, this NR only shelves one shoe per pair. They are not boxed and they face all different directions. If you are able to find a shoe you like, you will have to take it to a counter to receive the matching shoe. The prices seemed higher here and the line wrapped all the way around the counter. This NR is closer to me, but it is worth the drive to go to the other NR for a greater selection, faster service and cleanliness. read more

This is like a weekend getaway spot for me. Im here pretty much every weekend. Out of all the Racks in Dallas, I would say this is one of the better ones. From a menswear stance, they always have a better selection of suits and sportcoats here than the other places. The dressshirts (NM, English laundry, R Graham, etc are always in stock and for the most part organized. I especially love their Robert Graham, Bugatchi and Tailorbyrd selection. For the most part the prices are on point for what you get, although certian times for promos and clearance make it a STEAL. If you come often you can find the real gems.. I got a Joseph Abboud suit marked down from $599 to $399 to $49.99. NO JOKE!! There is an AWESOME assortment of shoes for men, women and kids. Everything from nike shoes to formal shoes and all the accessories to match. A few tips. Sign up for their Nordstrom debit card if you dont do credit. Its the same as using your own debit card although the perks are awesome. You get points for shopping and get free $$$ as you shop. They also can lookup ANY purchase for returns, exhanges or "what size did I get" A little unknown fact is they have a GREAT selection of perfume and cologne and its usually cheaper than most places. They have shampoo and beauty products, a HUGE selection of bags and purses and TOWELS, etc... You gotta walk around a bit, but you can pretty much find everything you need here. This isnt Nordstroms as you know it. They wont wait on you hand and foot, but the service is great for a bargain store. If you understand that shopping at 4pm on a Saturday here isnt a good idea, then you will be fine with waiting now and then to check out. Dont wait, grab a team member in green and ask "Can you check me out?" They will find a station and use their iphones to check you out. Waiting in line at the front is for suckers lol. **HINT** Dont come on a Saturday at 6pm and expect to find things. The store is pretty much flipped upside down at that point. If you gotta prom-it, cocktail-it, or just ooze pizazz, see to the racks bursting in color, sheer heavens, and silk. SHOES = war zone. Pray before you enter the aisles for your favorite shoe to not be scratched (if leather) because people try on these puppies like there will be a shoe-depression next week. I just spent over $100 at this store and was treated like trash. I'll NEVER shop at this location again. The sales associates in this location are rude, unmotivated and don't make the slightest effort to interact with the customer. I had a question regarding my Nordstrom credit card rewards and the girl at the register basically told me to just swipe my card and looked away without answering my question. When I talked to the manager he said "well, maybe she didn't know about the credit card rewards." To which I answered then she had to say "I'm sorry ma'am. I'm not sure about that. Let me get someone who can assist you with that." Instead of looking away and wait for me to go away. It's not rocket science. My go to place to shop, hands down. As much as I love shopping online I like to come to The Rack if I'm free on a Saturday or during the week when they have first open. I DO NOT like a crowd, so if you are like me come when it opens that way you avoid the annoying customers, destroyed racks, and/or disorganized fitting rooms that all happen during peak hours. It's not as big as the other locations in Dallas, but it is always well stocked and there are plenty of helpful associates. I like coming here periodically to get gifts throughout the year, and they also sell makeup and hair products at a discount. I have seen many items purchased at Nordstrom here for a fraction of the price, I could just kick myself! Happy shopping :) read more
