I love Dollar Tree. This store is by far the best one that I have visited in my life. Canadian dollar stores tend to have items that aren't a dollar. You are often paying $2, $3, or even $3.25. Where are the $1 items?! I suppose that the Canadian dollar is weak compared to the American that the price hike is necessary. My boyfriend and I came here hours after I had landed in Dallas. Everything is indeed a dollar. Nice! He raided the dental floss section. I came back the following day to get writing pads and a staff member was restocking floss. I told him when he came back from work and we both laughed at his love for dental floss. I was impressed with the frozen foods section. I never thought that I could buy pancakes and sausage, and ice cream at a dollar store. The selection is incredible! The sugar-free lemon and flavour crystals were up my alley. We also got a 1.25-litre bottle of Diet Coke. You can find decent brand names for cheap. Debit and credit cards, and cash are accepted payment methods. You can also buy helium-filled balloons at the checkout. I saw the entire process. The shiny heart balloons are pretty. Staff are cheerful and friendly. Dollar tree is every teacher's dream. This is where I come to buy all the items for my treasure box. This Dollar tree is actually larger than most. It has a great location on 15th St. and Alma. It is located just in front of Collin Creek Mall. I really like how it is organized. When you walk in to the right it has all of the holiday items. Behind the holiday items they have the toys. The central aisles have all of the home goods. And then over to the left hand side of the store there is the party items. I was most shocked to find plain t-shirts for sale. I thought that would be great for birthday parties. If you are having a sports birthday party you could buy the shirts and then each participant can wear a certain color shirt depending on what team they are on. read more

Now here is what I really love about Dollar Tree! First off, everything is truly a dollar. Second off, its super clean, and third of all lets really get down to it, they have everything you truly need. So for example, your cleaning products is a big thing, your hair brushes, and hair ties! Cards, cards for all occassions are! With a pretty big selection and gift bags. Wrapping paper and all your vitamins are here too!!!! There lot's of toys here and things for education. I love DOLLAR TREE! I heard this store was huge and clean... It is huge and cleaner than most DT stores. Everything was so organized. It has wide isles and best of all a frozen section. Food section is great and my daughter and I found the cutest little toy for our dog. I had planned to go to SALLY's BEAUTY SUPPLY store to get hair dye and spend 15$... Their opening hours for the weekend have always been 8am. Now it's the week before Thanksgiving and they are opening an hour LATER???? What kind of retard opens an hour LATER during holidays? Other places are opening EARLIER, but Dollar Tree, in their infinite stupidity have changed to opening an hour LATER! And on top of that, the stores in the Plano area have more empty shelves than they do ones with stock on them. I'm better off going to Target, at least they keep their shelves full of stock and don't open LATER. read more

This is the biggest Dollar Tree I've ever seen. It's funny, while there, I overheard a couple of other shoppers comment on the unexpected size too. I only shop at DT for a few, very specific items. If you have never been to a Dollar Tree, you are in for a rare treat as every item is $1 or less. I discovered a few years ago that their greeting cards are hilarious for adult birthdays and they are only .50 cents! There are also cards for every occasion, every season, every event, etc for .50 each. The cards are not cheap looking and look like Hallmark cards to me. I go once a month or so and stock up on birthday cards, get well cards, children's cards, congratulations cards and anniversary cards. So if you are on a budget or just cheap like me, stop in at Dollar Tree and check out the greeting cards - you will not be disappointed. read more

I have never written a review on any kind of "dollar store" however this one is a true dollar store as everything in the store in $1. On top of that the store is relative clean. They have to do stocking and taking care of customers, and there are minimal employees to do this, however the store is usually well stocked and clean. I came here with my daughters to find luau themed party supplies recently. The store is in fact very neat and organized, with a large variety of items. I let my children browse the store independently for a little bit, and they apparently got into "trouble" around the store. They were lightly spraying the air fresheners to find one that suited their tastes when a store employee walked past them and told them they should know they weren't allowed to spray anything. I understand what she was saying, so there wasn't any problem there. Sometime after that, one of my girls accidentally sprayed some silly string. The other sprayed a little more and they went to wipe it off on each other. They continued browsing, and came upon the bead necklaces. My oldest daughter was hugging the necklaces when one VERY rude employee walked up to her and told her that she needed to stop that immediately or else she would ruin the display, she said this in a very rude tone. My daughter quickly stopped and apologized while the woman rolled her eyes. Shortly after, my youngest was very gently stroking a few of the necklaces while asking which one she should get when the woman striked again. She said That applies to you too little girl. After this she stormed off and began to gossip with the other employees about my children. And just a few minutes later, returned and asked where their parents were. They pointed to me while the woman told them because they were destroying the store they would have to stay within five feet of me at all times. They were very upset when they came to me. This woman had a the WORST attitude I've ever witnessed. Later, while my children and I were checking out, she noticed that we were recording her and quickly began smiling at other customers and acting like a very helpful and friendly employee. As I went to swipe my card she began speaking to me in a belittling and disrespectful tone. "Are these your children?", " well I hope you know that they opened a can of silly and you'll need to pay for that now." I was astonished by the terrible service and extreme disrespect my family received while at this store, and I plan to continue sharing my family's experience.
