This is a great place to get items for Easter Baskets! They have a pretty big selection of candies and small toys, including Peeps! The prices are right here too, most of what I am seeing inside the store is being sold for less than I have seen elsewhere. I have also been impressed by the staff here. The items in the store aren't labeled properly and the staff is rude. An employee approached me asking that I "come to the front of the store since they're closed." No warning or announcements were made regarding the store hours. Very strange and unprofessional. I don't plan to be back. read more

I felt a bit racially profiled a bit today and that's a first with this location. I was walking up to a self check out register when two ladies like rushed and said they can check me out themselves and I simply said I can't check it out myself? The one lady precedes to say "oh she'll get you here" whole time the girl not even fully logged into the register and therefore having to wait when there was no one at none of the self check outs entirely, and I wouldn't of felt a way if I didn't noticed as I was walking in that they was allowing the other ethnicities to use the self check out no problem while they stood at the main register & greeted people as they was walking in but soon as a black person try to check out and use self checkout it seem like it was an issue or something. Definitely made me feel some type of way & that's unfortunate seeing how I do go to this location frequently but I'll be going to other locations. Don't want to feel uncomfortable like I'm not capable of fully scanning all my items and paying. Smh. read more

I love 5 below. But this one is horrible. Every single one on their workers has a nasty attitude like they don't want to be there. If you ask them for help looking for an item they huff and puff and drag their feet. Today was my last straw. I called to see if they had something I needed in stock and the response I got was "I dunno why don't you just come here and check for yourself" how about you watch your mouth and find a job that doesn't make you miserable. If you want to save money, this is a place for you. They have many cell phone accessories. I just got a new iPhone and wanted to buy some affordable accessories. The iPhone itself is pretty expensive. They have screen protectors, cases, ear buds, chargers and other accessories for only $5.00. They are next door to Best Buy. I know those same items at Best Buy are more than double that price. The quality also seems decent for the price. Five below is such a great store. Basically like a dollar store if you will but with a wider variety of things i suppose. This location must have been doing some rearranging and putting new stuff up as it was quite messy and a little hard to get around. They sell seasonal holiday items/decorations, toys and games for kids, books for adults and children, Lots and lots of candy all very cheap. They have phone cases galore and many other small home decor stuff such as pillows, rugs, candles etc.....i love five below and many items in my house are from there. I would give Zero Stars if I could. The manager is so rude. My daughter opened a phone case to see if it fit. The manager told her not to. So she closed it & put it back. My daughter picked up another case that was already open with nothing in it & she came attacking us. I asked her why was coming at us like this when the case was already open & missing! She's obviously watching the wrong people! When I got to the counter she refused service & I asked based on what grounds & she wouldn't give me an answer & told me to leave . She kept saying I was arguing with her but I was standing there & she kept coming up to us saying stuff! I asked her to walk away & let us pay & she took my items & wouldn't let me pay! Probably my favorite location of 5 Below. Always a great selection with a reasonable price (who can bean $5 Bucks) and the store is well laid out so I can get in and out with no issues. The other location in Frisco is just as great. What made me write this review is the young lady who assisted me one evening on my last visit. I had to return a wireless charger and it was effortless. Not only did she have a great disposition and upbeat charm, I got another brand and she advised the same one it worked well for her. Needless to say she was right, as this one I had no problems with. Discount shopping. Sometimes you can find a great deal, but you gotta wade through the crap... and boy is there a lot of it! As the price suggests everything in this store is $5 or below. Most products are sold at the upper limit of $5, and many of the items in there that are normally found under $5 at other stores appear to be bumped up in price a little just as long as it's under $5. Whatever products you find there are generally going to be the low-quality version of them. I bought some stainless-steel kitchen shears, which immediately rusted the next day. Everything is molded plastic. Blue, pink, and fluorescent green seems to be a color scheme they like in the products they sell. The store is brightly-lit and clean. Objects are neatly stocked on the shelves. However, there is a constant loud bass thumping from the music in the overhead speakers, making me want to drown out the world with a fresh pair of earplugs. They must have earplugs; those are under five bucks. I'm giving this review two stars only because the staff was super friendly. Apparently life working in fiVe BELoW hasn't beaten them down yet. At checkout I was informed that I can take a survey to be entered in a drawing to win a $100 fiVe BELoW gift card. Of course after leaving the store I don't think I ever want to go back. read more

OK now this place is something you have to realize you are paying cheap for cheap quality. So don't expect expensive or average products for cheap. However they have some cute work out clothes and some all around good products that are well worth $5. I am disabled and use a Service Dog to mitigate my disability. Today I decided to go into Five Below on Beltline, since I was done at Petco, and I wanted to look around. I brought my Service Dog in with me and while at the store, my Service Dog was charged at by an off leash dog. The lady who owned the dog refused to put a leash on her dog, making several why she didn't want to do that. I talked to a cashier and explained why off leash dogs are a threat to Service Dogs, and she just went back to checking people out and did nothing. I will be contacting corporate so that they understand the risk that off leash dogs pose to Service Dogs, and so they can have their employees trained on how to handle any future situations like this that may arise in the future. read more

This is a nifty little place. Today was my first day in visiting it. And I'm thoroughly impressed. I spent $22 and left with 2 Christmas gifts and additional knick knacks. They had candy from yesteryear that I haven't seen in ages (such as candy cigarettes, chewing tobacco chewing gum, cry baby sour gum, etc.) They also had some Japanese drinks that were kinda wild, we got one just to try it and liked it actually.
