I was surprised to see that there was a Nordstrom Rack in Oklahoma City despite not having a Nordstrom Department Store anywhere in the state. I went to check it out and being from California, I was horrified at the selections they offered. Hence, I decided I better make a trek to Dallas as it's a more Cosmopolitan area with better shopping choices and a different demographic all together. While was unable to find anything to my liking at this location, it was worlds away better than the OKC store. It was clean and organized, the staff was helpful and there was a much larger selection of items. I would definitely come back again but I recommend getting there early if you wear a popular size as things do run out. If you don't find exactly what you are looking for, rest assured there is an actual Nordstrom right around the corner at The Galleria. read more

Terrible customer service and no consideration at all for the customer. I bought a pair of Sam Elderman slides for $60 with pearls on them 2 WEEKS ago. Wore them a HANDFUL of times and the pearls are falling off. They won't let me return at all because they've been worn. I told them they should pull those shoes because that's a scam to sell shoes for $60 if they're gonna fall apart after 2 weeks. They treated me with apathy and no regard for the situation, didn't even apologize for what happened. Both managers just said "it's been worn". Obviously they don't care about making sure their customer gets what they paid for or are happy with their experience. Needless to say I'm never coming back here again. I've been to this store and the Nordstrom inside the galleria multiple times. I live right in between them. At Nordstrom rack I have had random men come up to me pretending to want to talk or compliment me. I know these people are undercover security which is great for them, but it's pretty obviously I've been here many times and I'm not there to steal anything. Once they compliment you they watch to make sure you went to the register then walk out the front door. I'm sure they go around to enter the building again. This location just opened October 10th and there were sooooooo many good deals going I was literally going crazy and was putting everything in my cart. Cart you say? Yes, they have carts! But its not just any kind of boring shopping cart you see at a typical store. No, these carts have a bar where you can hang your clothes from! Ingenious I must tell you! This feels like the largest one in the metroplex and I've been to practically all of them (Plano, Dallas near North Park Mall, even the Arlington Parks Mall location). Tons and tons of stock...BUT there were very little to no clearance items when I visited. I'm not certain if that was because it is a fairly new store or what? Of course, you still get the Rack discount, but I wasn't able to find those extra special buys that I can usually find at some of their other locations (e.g., Park @ Preston). Oh well. I spoke to Brooklyn who was so kind friendly and beyond helpful she put me on a short hold to go and check to make sure they had it abd checked the price for me.. it's hard to find good customer service these days and to have her be so helpful during store hours was amazing.. I just left this Nordstrom rack location to pick a online order around 12:30, when I went inside there was not line at the regular register and they had a designated order pickup table while I stood and wait for a few minutes while the 4 sales associates at the register just watched me and didn't come over to assist or help me. I'm looking around even look at them and making eye contact and they still didn't come help why have a order pickup table if no one is adhering to it? This was my favorite Nordstrom Rack store until last week when the store manager policed and kicked out my husband for not wearing a face mask. Nordstrom is obsessed with making everyone wear a mask even when it is harmful to their health. My husband has a medical condition that makes it impossible for him to wear a mask - he explained this to the store manager and he referred to my husband as "those people". I asked him to clarify what he meant by "those people" . He said "people that require special accommodations". To which I responded since when is breathing a special accommodation? He told my husband that he had to leave the store and literally walked behind him as he left - mean while other customers watched the interaction like they were watching some side act at the circus. Nordstrom is medically discriminating my husband and furthermore disrespected him by referring to him as "those people". It is inexcusable and inappropriate. Let me remind Nordstrom that "those people" are the reason your doors stay open. Remember you sell clothes and are not the mask police!! I love this store! It's very organized and easy to peruse. Yes, you will save some money, but there are still items that I consider expensive . I don't consider myself cheap though. LOL! While the clothes are nice, I mostly come for the great shoe selection. Most of the items are last season or older , but I guess if you wanted newer items, you would just go to Nordstroms. If you look really well, you can score some really nice boots or booties for the season. I read somewhere that the Rack gets their items from the nearest Nordstrom's that don't sell. Hmm....there's some really good stuff in there that you will want to buy . The fitting rooms are never crowded and there is always an attendant around that can help you. I have been a customer of Nordstrom Rack for many many years. No longer. Today I dropped by the North Dallas store to return some shoes I purchased along with over $200 of other merchandise on March 1. Today is April 3 and I was told that I would not receive a credit OR an exchange because my return was past 30 days--32 to be exact. I would have to keep the shoes that don't fit my right foot that I fractured 7 weeks ago and just got out of the boot I was wearing when I purchased the shoes. The left shoe fit my left foot but I was unable to try on the right shoe properly when I purchased them. I was hoping to wear these shoes but the toe area in the right shoe is too tight, so my heel hangs off the back. So instead of allowing me to return or even exchange the shoes, I am forced to take home a pair of $60 shoes that don't fit me. I mainly go here for my size 5 shoes. They are the only ones that have a decent selection of Size 4-5 shoes! Their size 4 selection is bigger than the other Nordstrom Racks I've been to in Texas. It is a curse to have little feet! Each time I go here I head straight for the shoes section. I have bought a few pairs of work heels here. Be prepared to spend at least $50+ on a pair of shoes-----that took me awhile to get use to. On lucky days, you can get nice pair of tennis shoes for under $40. This is my favorite Nordstrom Rack in the DFW metroplex. It's a little larger then the others plus it has the best selection and styles. From what I understand the Racks get the items from the nearest Nordstrom's that don't sell. So while this is a bit of a drive for me, I will gladly make it to be able to get some hard to find items. Nordstrom Rack also carries the hard to find shoe sizes and bra sizes just like Nordstrom. You can sign up for their emails and they will alert you when they get in your size. What's great about this is they offer the exact same customer service as Nordstrom but at least half the cost. Who can beat that? This place is huge but offers almost nothing for kids. I might have been spoiled with the Honolulu location that had so much for kids. They also had slim pickings for me and I was so bummed. They do have a great selection for women since my wife was able to find a good amount of clothes that made my wallet cry. The staff is also really nice and extremely helpful. They helped me find the little bit of clothes they had in my sons size. It felt like an expedition into the wild finding it but worth it. I will be coming back to shop some more and hopefully I can find out when new inventory come. She argued with me on how it was not "a responsibility" and how I was "throwing away money at the store without the card."
