Made 2 trips here while in town because we of course forgot stuff, needed to buy winter gear (it was colder than anticipated) and had to get some Shiner! Store was clean, not crowded or busy. It was easy to get in and out quickly. We were able to find all the items we needed. It seemed like they had a lot of items in stock, had Valentine's day merchandise out. Was weird they only sell wine/beer here (where I live they sell alcohol also) but was happy to pick up a few bottles of wine on sale and some speciality Shiner. The hotel water did not taste good so we bought Ozarka water and it did not taste good either but that isn't Target's fault. I could/would have bought more but we had limited space due to traveling. read more

So apparently LOVING Target is a whole thing but I apparently missed that memo. Maybe it's just this Target but wow, it's frustrating every time I come here. Take makeup for example, I'll go in hoping to grab a drugstore dupe but nope ! Most shades are sold out or the ones in stock have been opened and used as testers. See clothing you like ? Great if you're a size XXS or XXL but not much in between. Yeh the sales racks are always a disaster but that's typical. I don't buy groceries here. Why? The checkout situation is annoying. They have like 15 registered but none are ever open. Instead they have a handful of self-checkouts with lines that are soooo slow. My most recent trip prompted this review. I just needed cheese, literally a couple packets of cheese and still ended up waiting over 20 minutes in line. For cheese. Never again. I'm so over self-checkout. It is very disappointing that Target uses bait and switch tactics with their "close out" items. The names of the close out items are up to 50 and even 70% off, which really gets your attention. They place items with the same brand name, quantity, type and even the actual item names, right next to each other. You don't realize until checkout that the item was not on sale at all. For example they had one soup that was steak and potatoes, I thought that was on sale, but they told me it was spicy steak and potatoes that was on sale. Since all the spicy steak and potatoes were gone, I did not even know their was such a product. In other words, I looked carefully. This happened with almost every product I tried to buy. When I suggested not putting items with similar names right next to each other, I was told that was a corporate thing. They also did not indicate to me that they removed the clearance tag after I brought it to their attention i.e. leaving the clearance tags there to fool the next person. read more

Horrible customer service! This store used to be the best. First they take my drive up return and when I got home noticed they didn't complete the $60 return. Called the store and Mae was very rude, refused to help or speak with the associate, and refused to let me speak with a manager. Tried the 800 number same uselessness, tried the"contact via email"-same useless response. They advised me to go to the store. At this point have wasted more than an hour of my time... you would think guest services at least reads the issue but that assumption is completely WRONG! I will be completing a few more returns and insisting on a receipt even in drive up. Then you won't have to worry about this customer anymore. Will shop elsewhere going forward. read more

I purchased multiple frozen items today being discounted with yellow tag in freezer section.... but some didn't ring up correctly at register. If you self self check out (Because there's only 1 line open on weekends), they will presume that you are trying to steal. They will embarrass you. They will harass you, accuse as thief. Maybe that's what your employees do, when they shop. Made me scan same items twice, and when they realize that they were wrong, no apology. Only trying to make excuses for herself in front of the manager. So rude, audacity to push her manager to get on board to accuse all customers as thief. And when that didn't work, and Lame excuses!! I did have an issue not being able to find a butterfinger around allowed but that's ok. This Target has definitely gotten better since all the changes. Workers here are very nice and helpful. Overall, it's organized and cleaned. I come here a lot, at least twice a week. Just noticed that I'd never seen more than 3 lanes open even though they have 15 of them. Only two were open and I asked about it. The lady told me I should tell their corporate office to hire more people. I don't know if that's the answer, but I might deploy those folks more efficiently. This super target is dead to me for now. I will just go to Wal-Mart or other targets if I have to. I live less than a mile away, but this place really doesn't deserve anyone's business. So my complaint comes from the customer service side. Purchased a few items on Friday after thanksgiving, and see that there is a sale on cyber Monday. The items purchased were at full price, so no kind of deal whatsoever. So I called a different target, just the first one that pops up on google, and asked if I could get a price match / refund, they said sure, just bring in the receipt. After work, I take it to this Target, and they said no, not possible. I was just wondering if I was being irrational, in theory, I could just return the item I bought on Friday, at let's say $100, and then repurchase it for $85. Ie, a rebate of $15. The customer service lady was clueless, we called over a manager, and he was adamant that it wasn't the policy. At this point, is this policy a big deal? I just witnessed another customer before me cuss out your customer service team. Anyways, I don't have the items with me, I already assembled them. I'll go home and disassemble them if that makes you happy. But I said, ok, what if I go to the back and purchase the exact same item and return it with the old receipt, he said yeah you can do that.... I said that is exactly what I am trying to do, but I am saving everyone some steps. Ultimately we are fighting over $15 and having a customer for life. Eventually I end up taking my receipt to the other Target and getting my price savings. Maybe I'm wrong, but sometimes in management you should use common sense. I called Target to speak with their Bakery Dept I was put on hold and waited for nearly an hour. Was transferred the line kept ringing no one pick up was transferred back to customer service and asked to talk with the bakery dept was transferred again I spoke with a lady and if they could bake me a certain kind of cookies for Saturday. This lady in the bakery dept put me on hold again. If they did not want my business why didn't they just say so. Target stores seem to be very consistent in their quality and state of clean, and this was no exception. It was my first visit, in search of the extremely-hard-to-find candy corn Oreos (no dice, BTW). The grocery is on the right as you face the building. Coming from the west on SH 121, it's easy to get to; just exit at Main in The Colony (not sure why the address is actually in Lewisville) and it's easy to get back on once you're done. I really dig this Super Target. It's not everything I look for in a grocery store, but the "supermarket" side of things makes up for that. And they DO have a great grocery selection. I love their surprisingly wide array of natural and organic products, from almost all types of food to even shampoo and stuff like that. I like their store brand of natural and organic stuff. My favorite is their organic blue chips with flax seeds - hoooooly crap, we eat a lot of those at our house. Only complaint on natural products - no gallon-sized organic milk. So that's one of the things we have to get next door at Kroger. Decent beer and wine selection, but Kroger is better at that, too. Customer Service has improved over the past few months.. They are friendly, helpful and they will do anything to make it a great shopping experience. This store has gotten better with all the new changes, love their price matching, as well as their savings with the cartwheel. Place looks cleaner and organized as well as stocked up. Much better than Walmart, I rather drive thru traffic to get here than stay on the other side and go to Worstmart(Walmart). I like this Target because of the location and it seems to be a large store but well organize and plenty of parking. I cannot walk in to this Target and walk out empty handed, I always find what I came in for and something that I didn't expect to buy. I'm not sure if it is the time of day or the day of the week that I end up in the store, but it is never too crowded and I always check out with in a few minutes. There is plenty of staff walking around so If I need something, they are available. Pretty standard experience, and I'd rather have that than a bad one. Check them out. read more

With being a newer store, there are a few nicer features that I like including the hand scanners at the self check out stations. For as much as I shop here, I have yet to encounter any issues with customer service whether it be with returns, store pick up, or getting a rain check for an item out of stock. They're able to process your returns with just a drivers license even if you don't have a receipt. read more

In today's episode of "Shopping for Random Things at Target," I went on a mission to obtain two things: headphones and a sandwich. 1. Headphones, because I forgot to bring mine to work and my girl cubical mate subconsciously taps her acrylic nails on her desk for hours on end. It was driving me insane. 2. A sandwich, because I was hungry and it was lunchtime. And rocking out to good music while eating improves my digestive system. For the former, they had a whole aisle of options, but many were out of stock. Luckily, the pair I chose (Skullcandy Ink'd, in black, $12.99) turned out GREAT! They fit perfectly, blocked out other noises(!) and the sound quality is top-notch for earbuds. For the latter, I opted for an Italian sub. The bread was great (slightly-chewy ciabatta) and it surprisingly had sundried tomatoes. The deli was out of mustard packets, but I retrieved some from the Pizza Hut inside the store. So! While I didn't appreciate the stocking skills or friendliness of the staff (my cashier was an apathetic older man who didn't speak much and looked like he was contemplating suicide), the quality of the products I bought was great. read more
