I love going to Marugame Udon for lunch and grabbing a quick bite, or Haidilao for hot pot if I want something a little nicer. There's also a VERY popular Din Tai Fung here. In addition, there's a food court with some fast food options, a Shake Shack, etc. It's a beautifully maintained and designed outdoor mall with plenty of space to sit and lots of kiosks where you can get coffee or small treats. Once I was finally brought back, I was told the sales associate I had been booked with was unavailable and someone else would step in while she finished another fitting. Then I sat in the fitting room alone for another several minutes with nobody assisting me. The first experience was somehow worse. I checked in, waited, then eventually decided to reschedule because it was obvious the store was overwhelmed. During that process, the employee helping me repeatedly forgot my name despite already checking me in multiple times. Earlier during that same visit, another associate had forgotten the suit sizes, colors, and event deadlines I had already explained. What's frustrating is that this isn't a budget suit shop trying to survive high volume traffic. SuitSupply presents itself as a premium experience, and at these price points, basic organization, punctuality, and attentiveness should be expected. I genuinely like the suits, which makes this even more disappointing. But after multiple appointments with the same issues, the service feels disorganized, inattentive, and far below the standard the brand projects.

The store is located in a nice shopping center with several other businesses nearby, including ice cream shops and other retail stores. This Nordstrom Rack is quite large and has a great selection. I especially loved browsing the home decor section and candles. I found a Sand + Fog candle that was 50% off, which was such a great find. They also carry a lot of smaller items and travel-sized products. My boyfriend picked up a few items, and we noticed a lot of merchandise from brands like TravisMathew at significant discounts. There are definitely plenty of high-end brands available at great prices. They also have an impressive shoe selection. Overall, I really enjoy shopping at Nordstrom Rack because there are always amazing deals on quality brands. The staff was friendly, the store was clean and organized, and the shopping experience was enjoyable. I would definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area.

I like this Marshall's store, good choice of clothes and shoes, but the customer service was very bad, one cashier Victoria once heard me speaking Russian started behaving very rude and impolite, there was a problem with tags on the pants, it should have gone with the top, but top was lost and I asked whether we could buy just pants she asked the manager and the said 'yes, $5', and then we were waiting for half an hour while she was looking for the top, I was with my baby and mom in law and they tired so much standing in line. When I asked if she could sell us just pants she said no. I am so tired. They are doing this illegal thing. They always find one or two items saying this is not the price. They take their time, so you don't take it. It's probably because these Mexicans are working cashiers like the item and they take from you. I took the item and it was priced that way. There is one cashier that is clearly either racist bigoted, that absolutely refuses to let me use my Marshall's card on my phone without showing photo ID. I don't know what her problem is, but she's the only cashier who does this, and she does it every time. Even when I show her my biometric log in. Claims that is the rule, when she is the ONLY one who does. I'm no Karen, but the last time she did it I'd had enough of her. And let her know it. Even their customer service said there's no issue. If one walked pass a coyote in broad daylight, they should know such is odd. If that coyote had two legs and arms that would be even more odd. Strolling down the aisles of this Marshalls is such. Thieves. Opportunists. Stealing baskets full of merch. A luxurious ride on the trolley awaits then. A free ride to Point Loma or 12th and Imperial where they can sell their wares on the black market. This use to be my moms favorite store until one of the employees started been creepy and hitting on her. Today I had the unfortunate luck of seeing him rise his voice to another young employee in front of hang bags. Im not sure who allows this to happen but it was sad and embarrassing to see specially when she looked uncomfortable. Great place to pick up low cost kitchen tchotchkes such as glassware, etc. I also got some other great household stuff here, but their clothing selection has yet to inspire an actual purchase, I almost fell in love with a sport-coat there one day (which they have a nice selection of BTW & at great prices), but so far the cloths were pretty lame and not as good a price as "the other store" across the parking lot.. read more

I was looking for a new purse ( the two saleswomen were chatting away and glanced at me , and not even a smile back or " Can I help you with something?" ) and because it felt so non welcoming, I decided to shop for my husband in a friendlier department. I was looking for Dolce & Gabbana cologne for my husband ( I recommend the scent called , The One) and was greeted by such a lovely and professional young man. His name is Daniel G and he was so attentive and warm. He radiated simple elegance and kindness. No arrogance, just sincerity. He is most definitely one of a kind and sincere salesperson. It was a refreshing experience! Now my husband is twice as happy since I saved him money ( on not buying the purse) and he received a bottle of his favorite cologne. I hope Daniel's manager reads this, because his sales style felt exactly like what Nordstroms used to feel like years ago. Always grateful for the kindness while making a purchase, big or small.

I've deliberated about MCX Miramar for a long time, and how I should rate it…read more On the one hand, it's an MCX just like you would expect at any major base. So there aren't any issues there. On the other hand there has always been something about this MCX that has been a little off to me. This weekend I finally put was able to put my finger on what exactly that was. The first thing about this MCX is that it is oddly laid out. The building is wider than it is deep, and this lends itself to a strange feeling layout to the store and it's various departments The other thing is the registers are strangely located, and there are very few of them, so even when the MCX isn't very busy it takes a while to get through the checkout line. The last thing is the hours. Maybe they're exactly the same as other bases that I've been on, but the hours here seem very strange. They don't seem to make a lot of sense, and they seem to close very early. Also, the barber shop here it closes at unreasonable hours all the time. The complex itself is also not super convenient to get to, and it's pretty spread out once you get inside of it, with a lot of medians between the different avenues and lanes you're going to try to get to. So yeah, not the best MCX not the worst MCX.

Inside the store, it can also feel overwhelming at times due to how closely some employees move around customers without always respecting personal space. Another concern has been the interactions at the food sample stations. While the samples are a nice feature, some employees working those stations have come across as impatient or rude toward children who are accompanied by their parents while trying samples. A little more friendliness and understanding toward families would greatly improve the overall shopping experience

It's a co-op where the central office opportunistically buys up close outs, over productions, etc, then offers their customers at local stores great prices. Because of this practice, they can offer their customers great prices, but it's always hit or miss. Like Forrest Gump's box of chocolates, "you never know what you're going to get." You may find a great price on a brand name item that you love, and, if so, buy it up right away because they likely won't be restocking once it's gone. They also offer their own store branded products. The ones I've tried have been good quality. Over the past two years I've noticed that they seem to be offering less variety, less customer service, and the shelves aren't as well stocked. Today's visit was especially disappointing. I went specifically to buy an item featured in their ad-- front page, no less-- and couldn't find any. When I asked each of the two people I found working there, no one knew what I was talking about. It's not that they had sold out; they just never had any and didn't even know they were supposed to. If this were a one time occurrence, I'd let it slide, but it's happened much too often lately. It seems to have become a pattern. I very much resent burning expensive gasoline for an advertised item, just to find that the store not only never had any stock, but the sparse staff didn't even know that it was advertised. Come on GO. You can do better.
