I had a mani today, and it was great! I don't get them often because I am sensitive to fragrance and will get a headache from all the chemicals in most salons. Marlowe had no weird smells, and I actually liked the lotion on my hands. This is the first time I left a salon and didn't have to go home and shower. I'll be back for sure. I received a manicure and pedicure at Marlowe recently with Zoe. I really enjoyed the experience. All the manicurists and front desk staff are very attentive. Just before I left, I accidentally tapped one of my nails and the manicurist very quickly fixed the damage, making it invisible, for which I was very grateful. I have had great services with Jessica, Zoe and Elle here, who have all been very professional and done lovely manicures. read more

I've been going here for about 3 months now for a pedi once a month and I've never been disappointed. The first two times I got a basic pedi and this last time I tried the Big Sur pedi which includes a 10 min massage and sugar scrub. My calves had been SO SORE after starting cardio again, and the Big Sur pedi helped me be able to walk again! lol... the vibe can be lively, with quiet conversations taking place between client and technician, but also peaceful, and always clean. I typically have my ear pods in to listen to a podcast or my own music so I zone out and just relax while I'm there. I look forward to my pedi every month! Will definitely be getting the Big Sur again. read more

I received a Big Sur pedicure from Zoey and the experience was beyond my thoughts for this place. While I would say it's on the pricier side, I do think the experience is worth it. Recently a lot of salons I've been too have been pricy and quality was awful. Zoey took her time, check in regarding if I was happy with nail length in addition to making sure made the right color choice. Her massage was amazing, I actually feel asleep. The environment is calm and quiet and very easy to get comfortable. In addition to my nail specialist the front of house was very kind & accommodating. Highly recommend. read more

I tried Marlowe for the first time with my mother and we were both impressed. Our pedicures looked lovely and the experience was relaxing as well. I have lived in Marin for 37 years and it has at times been challenging to find a salon we like to frequent, but Marlowe may be our new spot. Beautiful salon, great ambiance and very clean but service is nothing special and very overpriced. I booked the 55 min Big Sur pedicure for $80 and she was painting my nails by 35 minutes in, then quickly got up and left when the clear coat was on. Overall not impressed. read more

Wanted to love this place as the location is great, interior and decor is super cute, and they have good nail polish selection. However, my mani was mediocre at best where my polish is not smooth and manicure doesn't look great overall. I get better manicures at other nail salons at a less premium price so will likely go elsewhere in the future. read more

We visited the Marlowe location at the Marin Country Mart in Larkspur on Mother's Day. I had booked the Classic Mani and Classic Pedi for myself and my son's fiance to celebrate their upcoming wedding. We could not be happier with the experience we had. The space is lovely, light, bright and casual but somehow luxe at the same time. There is a small room with long tables where you sit across from your manicurist for nails, and a slightly bigger room with comfortable chairs where you sit for the pedicures. One minor quibble is that the step up to the chairs is rather high if you don't enter where they have a booster step. If you are older or have a tight skirt, it might be an issue. I imagine you can ask for a step to be moved so that you don't have to climb up so high. They were busy, due to Mother's Day, but we never felt rushed or the sense of being hurried. We chatted with Vivian, who did my daughter-in-law's nails and Zoey, who did my nails and with some of the other staff in the pedi area. The staff seemed happy and there were no acrylics and good ventilation so you could breathe the air! Bonus. ;) Can't speak to longevity as I just had them done, but two days out they look perfect. My daughter in law was also very happy with her services. Thanks Marlowe! I'll be back! read more

Very impressed with this salon and the service I received! I wanted to treat myself to a spa-like mani/pedi for my birthday and discovered they were newly opened in Larkspur Landing.
