It was very easy to set an appointment time with her and I loved that they had massage chairs for your pedicures! If you ever wanted a mani pedi that is not rushed and done with absolute attention to details then Mina is a must. I have tried few other places in both San Rafael & Corte Madera and non come close. Of course she is a bit pricier than other place, but I don't mind paying the extra since my manicure lasts at least two weeks with no hang nail, and the pedi twice as long if not longer. The ambiance is casual. I'm not very talkative, but she is always entertaining and pleasant. She works with her sister and they both run a tight shop w great attention to customer needs and service. They were wonderful! I scheduled 2 pedicures and 3 manicures for my bridesmaids and I the day before my wedding. I've always hated getting my nails done, but this was a fun experience in a quiet shop. They never tried to upsell us as has happened other places. We had great conversations and I felt very comfortable with them. I have very sensitive skin so they used a mask on my feet that was wonderful. All 3 of us were complimented on our nails. I have been coming to Mina for about 6 months now and I have to say, I have other manicurists that I really like, but technically speaking, she is the BEST. She took care of my ingrown nails and hang nails and while I felt pampered, I also felt like I was actually taking care of the health of my nails! I also just got my first gel manicure ever with her. Yes, you need to make an appointment, but she spends a LOT of time with you and you alone, and I've never had such beautiful nails in my life.
