I'm sorry but $85 for a gel manicure is ridiculous. I did not ask in advance , since usually this is $30-50 and I needed to visit a salon. However it is not listed at this rate anywhere so the salon seems to have arbitrarily named this price after the manicure was complete and I did not have time to argue about this . Took 90 minutes , no pedicure in case you wondered since that maybe for $85 makes sense . It is a good manicure , but I will never return here on principal . read more

I went for a last minute pedicure and the pedicure turned out great! Paint is even, she cleaned up my cuticles and dry heels nicely but also carefully. I got cut at another salon so sadly I have been a bit nervous to get a pedicure since that happened. Never happened to me before. The only reason why I took one star away was bc as I was paying, I offered to pay cash, gave them $40 and she said the pedicure is $40, I said yes I know isn't that $40 and she said well aren't you going to tip her??!! I was shocked! Of course I was going to tip her, that was just the money for the service. I had to bite my tongue and not respond but it sure was a weird way to end a great service. Not polite, BUT this was not said by the lady that did my nails. I just thought that was kinda rude! What if I couldn't afford a tip? Horrible service! They make appointments and tell you to come in then don't have time for you. I made an appointment for 2pm a couple months ago and they finally got to my pedicure an hour later. And it was rushed. I gave them another try and made an appointment for 4:30pm. I walked in and told them I had a 4:30 pedicure scheduled and they seated 3 other people first (and were busy servicing other guests, there was no one available even for the other 3 people). When I walked out annoyed they said the other people had 4:30 appointments as well. So either they are not capable of managing a schedule or simply take walk ins over appointments and just say "yes" to everyone. And they simply don't care. When I tried to explain it's frustrating to be told a time to come in then have to wait 30-45 minutes, they made excuse after excuse. No apologies. Same as last time. It's understandable to run behind some, but not like that. They should be honest and say they only take walk ins and not waste people's time. It's disrespectful. read more

I went to get gel x nails, in the beginning the technician didn't do my cuticles, then did a poor job on the rest, the total was $130 for short basic nails, they charged me $40 just for French tips, and an extra $30 for 4 small white stars. I would not recommend, spend your money on somewhere they will put more thought and care into your nails and not act like you are a doll. The nails were too expensive for me and I regret going there for these, and will be going somewhere else next time. read more

They were gracious enough to fit me in without an appointment - and for $40 were able to give me a beautiful pedicure. Holly nails is very busy & end result is well done, my nails look good, but it was literally the quickest pedicure I've ever had. The "massage" was less than a minute. And because the were so busy, they moved my friend & I from our massage chairs to a seat nearby almost immediately after our nails were done, without being dry, and without setting us up with dryers. I used to like Holly Nails for its quick service. It's certainly not the best for a spa-like experience, but it's pretty efficient. This last time however, it was a bit too efficient. My cuticle was nipped on the right hand and started to bleed. Shortly after, a cuticle on my left hand was cut more severely, and did not stop bleeding for over two hours. The technician was not wearing gloves, and also had an open cut on her hand, from that day. When I asked what that was, she mentioned she cut herself on scissors and was having a clumsy day. No discount offered. My bleeding seemed to inconvenience them. Sadly will not be returning. read more

Walked in for mani-pedi and actually got seated immediately, which is surprising since they were pretty busy and after reading previous reviews. No discount for not wanting my fingernails polished. The girl doing my pedi barely worked on my callouses, and what little she did, ended up scraping the skin on top of my foot and big toe. SOMEHOW I've ended up with a FUNGUS there now! Disgusting. Any requests I had, I was made to feel like it was a big inconvenience to them. She even refused to trim my nails shorter.
