Sad to say that the overall quality of my experience was lackluster. I went in to get my gel polish removed and I should have asked how much this service would cost-this is my fault. I have never had this service cost more than $10 previously. At 3 sister I just paid $35 for my gel polish to be removed. I think that this is a very high price considering I not Ally pay this for a gel mani at my local solan in Santa Rosa. Needless to say I will not be returning. Nails were not made even/same length after gel polish was removed. Nails are a rough and uneven texture on top, they did NOT buff them correctly at all. VERY disappointing to have to pay $35 for this experience. read more

I wanted to try a new salon, so my mom and I decided to get our nails done here. Big mistake. They completely overcharged us and used a horrible method to remove gel nails. They removed it with nail cutters that actually hurt my mom and caused her pain. To make things worse, when I paid with my card, the worker seemed upset and kept asking why I didn't have cash. It honestly felt like she made up the price on the spot. I was charged $85 for Gel X with a very simple design. I'm more than willing to pay for quality work, but this was definitely not it. The overall vibe was uncomfortable and unprofessional. I won't be coming back, and I wouldn't recommend this salon to anyone. read more

The salon was clean and staff was very nice, actual manicure and pedicure was good. I can see why they are a highly rated salon. Sadly, the polish on the pedicure was poorly done. The polish I picked was thick so I saw them try to thin it out with a thinning agent, which is somewhat normal. I should have said something when I saw them apply 4-6 coats of color polish to my big toe to "smooth out" the residual clumpy polish that had been applied. Knowing these were prime for knicks and smudges, I treated it like a wet pedicure for 7 hours until bed and woke up this morning with my big toe smudged and knicked. $60 and that many hours of being mindful of my toes made it for an expensive and unrelaxing shortcut. read more

They used to be good, but now very bad quality. I got gel mani and pedi costed $120. Extremely expensive for very poor quality. The nails started chipping the next day. All the salons I've been to, this was the worst! Gel should last at least a week or two. It was extremely thinly done and not smooth at all. read more

A Very Distubring Experience This salon is a total rip off! Under no circumstances go there for a manicure. My 17 year-old daughter just got a French Tip gel manicure from them. This is a very simple design and they completely botched it. French tips are supposed to be opaque pink and you can see her nail which is not how it's supposed to be. The French tip is messy and they are too thick. She sat there for 2.5 hours which is absolutely ridiculous! It usually takes one hour to get this done and it seems like the manicurist was untrained. She had 2 manicurists and one of them was the owner. Hard to believe they are so incompetent. And they charged her $70. We will never return to this salon. read more

My go to nail shop changed ownership so I needed to find a new place. This was my first time going to 3 Sisters. I had a regular pedicure & a fill with gel polish. I've been getting my nails done for a long time and this is the first time I haven't had a dremel used, everything was done with a file. My nails were shaped beautifully & painted to perfection. I only give 4 stars because they don't have big comfy pedicure chairs with tubs attached, you sit in what looks like a high backed office chair & they bring a small vibrating tub to you. It's a super basic pedicure that does not include a scrub or paraffin wax, that is extra. It's called a spa pedicure and is $10 more. Everyone who works there was very friendly & the lady who did my nails is the middle sister who was very sweet. It really is 3 sisters who own the place! read more

I am HIGHLY dissatisfied with the customer service. Got my nails done on a Saturday(4/29), by Friday(5/5) they were chipping. As most people do I had previous engagements so was unable to come the next day, Saturday(5/6) and this establishment is closed Sunday(5/7), so here I am Monday(5/8) and I am told that since it's been past two days I have to pay at least haft to get my nails fixed!! I'm sorry but what!!! Gel manicure should last 2-3 weeks with no chipping. If you want good product and service don't come here!!!! read more

I normally get my nails done in the East Bay where I live. But I was in the San Rafael area on business and decided at the last minute to get my nails done while waiting for traffic to subside. Glad I called ahead for an appointment, because even on a Monday afternoon this place was busy. Not sure they could have fit me in had I just walked in. I can see why they are so busy - their service is top notch, the space is clean and spacious with plenty of parking. And although it is a small thing they are one of the few nail salons that I have been to recently that still have magazines available for you to read. So many places have cut back on that to cut costs. Lily did my nails and while all the sisters are probably good, she is my fave! I will definitely be back. It is worth the extra drive for me to go there. read more
