Easy to book and great service! Only my second time to get a spray tan, but I plan to be a repeat customer. Tan was light and natural looking, just the way I wanted it for my special event read more

I recently moved from San Francisco to San Rafael and had to find all my new go-to places. I read a lot of Yelp reviews and people recommended this place. I was skeptical at first, but desperately to get my brows done before my friend's wedding in the next 2 days. So, I reached out to them via Yelp to see if they could get me in that same day since I had a flight to catch the next day and they were very accommodating. I was able to get my eyebrows done that afternoon! The place is very clean and my esthetician, Candis is absolutely a pro and takes her time. On top of that, she patiently listens to what you want and walks you through the process. I'm giving them 5 stars because on top of everything I mentioned above, friends in NYC complimented my brows non-stop. I'm very happy with this place and Candis and looking forward to my next visit! read more

Lucky Bumble - Sugaring Near Me - San Rafael, California

I'm so glad I chose Lucky Bumble as the place to get a spray tan before my wedding. The process was easy, quick, thorough, and very friendly service. I asked for "the world's lightest spray tan" and it turned out perfect, it looked totally natural! Lucky Bumble is located in sort of an odd place but don't let that throw you - I would 100% come back for another spray tan in the future and highly recommend! read more

Very professional. My tan was a perfect shade and lasted for almost a week. Will definitely go back!

The absolute best tan!! I'm from out of state and came here to get a spray before a party, I was nervous since I had never been here before but it turned out to be the best tan I have ever gotten! I can't recommend this place enough!! read more

Let me tell you, this week I am one hot mess. I have been dealing with drama at work, a contractor, four grumpy geriatric dogs, and getting ready to go out of the country for a week, so I'm a little frazzled. I looked down at my legs last week and was OMG WTF I CANNOT be seen like that, so.........I decided to go for my first-ever airbrush tan. I let my fingers do the walking to Yelp and found Lucky Bumble and made a lunchtime appointment. How big of a mess was I? I realized, once I pulled up to Chiara's beautiful spot, that I had left my wallet at work. And thus did not have my credit card. Nor change or a card for the meter. Being what I consider a good client, I didn't want to flake, so I scraped up three dimes from my car's catchall, bought myself 12 minutes on the meter, and ran upstairs to apologize for having forgotten my credit card and to ask if we could reschedule. And do you know what happened? Chiara told me not to worry about it and we'd figure it out later (mind you, I am not a longtime, returning client and she did not know me from Adam - er, Eve) and then SHE GAVE ME CHANGE FOR THE METER. Are you KIDDING me?! If that isn't customer service, I don't know what is. She made me go from frothing and frantic to chill and relieved with these simple acts of kindness. We then sat and had a chat about what look I was going for (as well as the really pretty and interesting space that Lucky Bumble is now in; it's SO. COOL.) and we decided on a medium tone with a vanilla scent. After that, I got my kit off (I'm not shy) and stepped into the TeePee of Golden Deliciousness (the little tent you stand in while she works on you) and emerged looking like I'd gotten some healthy color on a Caribbean beach, not been panicking on the mean streets of San Rafael. She then dusted me off to blend me in, gave me instructions, and let me pay with just my card number in hand (good thing I keep that in my email; pro tip), and sent me on my way. By the next day my color had developed beautifully and now I'm looking at yet another addicting beauty habit to add to the routine - Thanks, Chiara (said to the tune of 'Thanks, Obama!)! See you again soon! read more

Everything about this place is perfect! The ambiance is like a cute little beach bungalow that makes you never want to leave and the staff are by far the coolest. I got an eyebrow wax and lash tint from Christina and I couldn't be more pleased! The wax didn't hurt nearly as much as it did at other places and the lash tint really made my eyes pop! The spray tan is by far the best I've ever had! No streaks and no orange! Chiara blends the wrists and other hard areas so your streak free and with added scents, no more stinky post spray wait. Love this place! I'll be back! read more

Tatum is the BEST! I got spray tanned before my wedding by Tatum and I loved the results. First off, I had some weird tan lines from the summer that she was somehow able to blend and disappear them. Next, the color was absolutely perfect, I was golden and didn't look super fake. I love her product and her custom scents. She has a great personality, is friendly, bubbly, and an all around delight! I loved my experience so much and I love the way the tan looks that I keep coming back! read more

Chiara is a beautiful person from the inside out. She just radiates beauty and sweetness. I was new to airbrush tanning when I first visited Chiara. Now I am a client who purchases packages of 10 at a time! I just love how I look and feel after the application. Here are the pros about Lucky Bumble: 1. Perfect airbrush application 2. Professional business owner 3. Clean and lovely space 4. Comfortable atmosphere for the modest or self conscious 5. You will always leave feeling beautiful and naturally kissed by the sun 6. Tanning packages that bring the per tan pricing down 7. Optional essential oils that add a pretty scent to your body 8. It's easy and quick. You'll be out of there in 10-15 minutes. Here are the cons about Lucky Bumble: 1. Nothing. Seriously, nothing. I highly recommend making an appointment for an airbrush tan at Lucky Bumble! You will not regret it! If you are new to tanning make sure to review Chiara's website which gives thorough information about airbrush tanning (what it is, what to wear, care of, etc.) read more

I followed Christina from Berkeley and I am so glad I did!! I go in at least once a month and she makes a normally unpleasant experience fun! I love getting waxed by her and I tell all of my friends to go see her. I always walk out happy. The lounge itself is so cute and inviting! It has a great waiting area and cute decorations and also some great clothes and accessories for sale too. read more

First time trying this place - wanted a spray tan just before I headed off on vacation. They have a really nice place and they make you feel really comfortable. My tan lasted for a good week and faded very evenly. read more

Chiara made me feel super comfortable with spray tanning. I LOVE the all-natural "flavor" she puts in the tanner--it made me smell great and not at all like I had just been sprayed! Her office is super cute, she definitely has an interior decorator eye. My tan was just right--not to light and not too dark! read more

Lucky Bumble - I'm so flattered when people comment about my lashes! I highly recommend Justin at Lucky Bumble! He is so talented and professional! - Sugaring Near Me - San Rafael, California

I loveeee miss Chiara at Lucky Bumble!!! I loved her when she was mobile & I love her new space at The Beauty Nook as well. The new space is so welcoming and inviting, I kinda want to hang out there all day. I feel like one of the girls when I'm there, and not to mention there is candy and old movies playing... awesome. Her sprays are top notch and I wouldn't go anywhere else. My favorite scent this month is lavender :) read more

I went in for a Brazilian sugaring last week with Tesa, and I'm fully in love with sugaring now. I've been to Tesa twice now, and she has a very calming/soothing energy, which is perfect for this experience of being sugared. Much less painful than traditional waxes, especially when you can keep up with the new hair growth, and seems to be less harmful to the hair follicles. Tesa is a total pro, who always finishes way quicker than I think she is going to. Also Lucky Bumble has to be one of the most gorgeously decorated salons I've been to in a while! read more

Looking for a quality spray tan, look no futher! Chiara is amazingly-skilled, educated, professional. The Beauty Nook (where's it's located) is very tastefully designed, modern, fun. The monthly membership is the way to go if you're looking to stay youthful and get out of the sun. read more

I love a healthy glowing tan but my dermatologist suggests I avoid the sun at all costs. Thanks to Lucky Bumble I can have a really natural looking tan while avoiding the dangerous rays. Chiara is an amazing artist. Her tans are flawless and they last. And she is so warm and personable. She's the best! It's truly a wonderful experience and I walk out with a natural beautiful glow that smells great and a big smile on my face. read more

I've done tanning, waxing, eyebrows, and lash tinting here. Prices are good and the staff is friendly. They book up, so call early. You can also schedule on their website. Services aside, I'd book appointments just to spend time in their beautiful waiting room. The space makes me want to be a better person. It's gorgeous & I love going in. read more

First spray tan and it turned out great. My daughter and I have been going to Emily at The Beauty Nook for a few years for waxing and she has recently joined up with Chiara for spray tanning at the salon. Chiara is friendly, thorough and reasonably priced. I highly recommend her! read more

Its all about lashes! Lucky Bumble is very lucky indeed! Or, should I say, I am? I had tried lashes before at another location, but my lashes were full of glue and some clumped together. After some months, I decided to try again & I ended up at Lucky Bumble booked with Justin for a full set. They were FANTASTIC! Now, after completing my 2nd set, which are also FABULOUS, And, being given a holiday discount, I am more than inclined to take a moment to share how pleased I am. The space at Lucky Bumble is wonderful & Justin is the PERFECT addition. I am thrilled to have met him for I also booked Halloween make-up in between my sets and Justin's make-up skills are INCREDIBLE! I wish I could post a pic of both my lashed and my make-up! For those of you seeking a great ambiance, go to LUCKY BUMBLE. For those of you who are also seeking a great experience and Gorgeous results, Book with JUSTIN! read more

Ciara is one of the best in this business. I saw her for over 10 years. I live in the east coast now -- and still miss her amazing service and perfect tans! read more

What an awesome place! My friend recommended I try Lucky as the last place I went gave me an awful spray tan. But not this place. As soon as I entered I was greeted and astonished on what a cute establishment this was. I was talked through the different options and helped with making my decision on the perfect spray tan that I received. Thank you ladies or the amazing tan, no streaks, no smudges, it was perfect and lasted 6 days. I will definitely be there again and want to try their other services as well. read more

I've been meaning to write a review for Lucky Bumble for some time now. It's the cutest place in downtown San Rafael. I wish my apartment was as cute as this place. With the super hip decor, fun books to read while you wait, an assortment of candies and beverages and toiletries of all sorts to use in their bathroom, I sometimes just show up early just to hang! I've seen Tatum for my organic spray tans a few times now. She is super professional and makes you feel incredibly comfortable. She pays so much attention to detail and keeps specific notes on what color she's used and how many coats. I don't think I'll ever be able to go anywhere else. I also just recently got sugared for the first time with Tesa. She was absolutely amazing as well. Getting your nether regions sugared/waxed can be a very uncomfortable and awkward experience, yet she made it as comfortable as possible. Explaining every detail to me, why it's better than waxing and also telling me stories about her past experiences helped me take my mind off of the pain. I have now referred two friends to Lucky Bumble and I won't stop! read more

Christina has been doing my brows for the last 6 years, she is a master waxer. We started with just brows and progressed to removing hair from places I didn't even know I had hair. Being a dark haired person my unwanted body hair has always been an embarrassment for me and she has made me more confident by turning me into the hairless cat I always wanted to be. I love her and everything she does. read more

Tatum always does an awesome spray tan and makes you feel really comfortable! She is super friendly and professional and takes the time to check each area and do a great job. The spray tans I've had here are far superior to any I've had at other tanning salons like Tan Bella. Highly recommend! read more

It keeps getting better. Christina is a recent addition to the lounge. I don't trust many people with my brows, but Chrstina did by far the best job. Now I don't have to go into the city once a month!! Thank goodness!!! Love these ladies!!! read more

Finding lucky bumble can be a little tricky :) their door is next to viva diva and an art galley! But once you come up the stairs it's like finding a lost gem or a treasure chest! The space in incredible, you can feel the love that went into decorating and you just want to hang out there all day because the space is so beautiful and Christina and Chiara are so friendly! Christina is amazing and having her wax and tint my brows was literally a game changer! I had never had my brows tinted before, I didn't think it would make a difference since I have dark brows! Well it did! Go see Christina and Chiara today you will be so happy you did!! read more

Christina has been doing my brows for about a year now. I had no idea what I was missing but I'll never do my own ever again. She is a brow goddess. She totally transformed my face with her magic. I get tons of compliments on my appearance and I've been turning more heads ever since. I travel from the east bay to see her and she's more than worth every bridge crossing. Lucky bumble itself has such a great vibe. They play old movies like Can't Buy Me Love in the waiting area and have a beautifully decorated space. I highly recommend them!!! read more

Ive been getting waxed by Christina since I was 15. She is the only person who has ever touched my eyebrows. She always keeps them full and only cleans up my fuzz. I started waxing my legs as well because I was getting razor burn and now years later the hair is so much thinner :) It's so worth it! Christina is the best and Lucky Bumble Beauty Lounge is the cutest ever!! All my friends go to so its so fun to run into people! read more

The worst customer service ever. The owner Chiara did not want to honor a tan package I had purchased with her when she was a private renter at The Beauty Nook., she never kept consistent hours to even book a tan & the I could not use the certificates. When she parted "The Beauty Nook", she never sent an email or contact of her new place of business. When I learned where she was & back in business under another business name, Chiara avoided all messages never returned my calls then finally had her receptionist call me & say yes my daughter could use my spray tans I had purchased but never used. There is no expiration, she never said there were any exclusions or not transferable. So my daughter used one of three tans I had & when she returned for the 2nd tan AFTER she sprayed her she said she could not use my tan certificate! My daughter reluctantly paid, what was she to do & left crying! We will never patronized the Luck Bumble again! It's not about her ability to spray tans, she does do a good spray tan, it's about good business manors. She lacks in that respect when you won't honor your sales. Besides you never can find parking on 4th Street! read more

Got a mani pedi here and for got a 20% discount on Friday. Clean place and friendly staff

I come all the way from San Francisco just to get my eyebrows waxed by Christina. She is so good at what she does that my eyebrows finally have a full natural look instead of super thinned out from years of getting them waxed at nail salons. Not to mention that it's well worth it when the space itself feels like your going to your girlfriend's house to hang out. read more

I highly recommend Lucky Bumble! It was my first time getting a spray tan for Prom, and I felt completely comfortable and happy with my decision. Great ambience in the salon very trendy and chic, and Chiara was so sweet! She walked me through each step and made sure I was comfortable with it. Lucky Bumble does Organic, Vegan spray tans that are long lasting, even, and look healthy. You also have a choice of choosing a scent and I chose Coconut so now I smell delicious too! In addition, there is a student discount which came out to $44! Amazing!! I will for sure come back here and recommend it to my friends. It is cheaper than doing a self tan yourself and you have the security of having an even tan with a spray tan. Wonderful environment and such sweet ladies working there. Thank you Chiara for a great experience! :) I will be coming back again! read more

As always Christina gave me the best Brazilian wax. When she waxes me its pretty much painless because I am cracking up laughing the whole time . She has been giving me epic eyebrow for years. The beauty lounge is stunning and beautiful. read more

Chiara gave me the best spray tan that I have ever gotten. I was referred to her by a friend, and continue to drive all the way to San Rafael from the East Bay area just to get tanned by her! I have been to so many places and have left unsatisfied, with a tan that fades in 2-3 days leaving me looking streaked/blotchy. My tan from Chiara lasted a week, and the best part is that she infuses the tanning solution with your choice of essential oil (I chose the cherry blossom) so you aren't left with that awful spray tan smell that seems to linger. Aside from the quality of her tans, Chiara also has a very inviting space, making it feel like more of a relaxing, spa experience which definitely adds to the overall satisfaction you will experience. Go get sprayed by Chiara if you want a beautiful, natural, long lasting tan that won't streak or leave you smelling of tan solution! read more

LOVE LOVE LOVE getting a spray tan here! Let me just say you get what you pay for! Her spray tans are flawless, smell divine and leave you feeling like you spent the last two months going hard at the gym! She is an absolute sweetheart an makes you feel completely comfortable and cozy and her spot is adorable at the Nook. I swear I could hang out with the ladies at the Nook all day long. First off a HUGE Congrats to Chiara on her new spot in San Rafael and the decor is so fun, I always look forward to my next spray tan (not only for my tan) but to see what she has added to the place! I always get a spray tan before trips or events...that's my thing & she gets it right every time! The next day or even a few hours after...it's like I just stepped off the beach. Chiara truly is a special business owner, she just gets it! I'm looking forward to my spray tan tomorrow evening for a wedding I have to attend this weekend, YAY FOR TAN LEGS!!! read more

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Lucky Bumble. Chiara, the owner is amazing. I live in the Chicago area, and came in for an airbrush before he returned home from vacation. Not only was she professional and knowledgeable, she radiated the most amazing calming energy. She is truly a gem. The 10 is flawless with a deep chocolatey tone that you can't get from booths!
