Love love love this place!! I was going to Hawaii for a week and needed hair removal services and Milli was so great! Thank you!!

I've been traveling and neglecting brow maintenance for about the last two months. I walked by the Sugar Shack and on a whim went in and made an appointment. I could not be happier with the results. The space is warm and inviting with unique local products for sale and the results of my threading were great. I went from Sasquatch to respectable in about fifteen minutes. And the shape was exactly as requested. I highly recommend! read more

Mandy is AMAZING. My skin comes out glowing after every facial, and her sugaring is clean & precise. Her products are top-quality and smell amazing. She also gives me excellent product recommendations, and clear advice for how to organize my skin regimen at home. I can't recommend Mandy more for your skincare and sugaring needs! read more

When I first heard of Fairfax Sugar Shack I had never been sugared or waxed before so I was a little scared of the pain. I booked an appointment with Milli and she was absolutely amazing! It was a lot more painless then I thought and Milli is such a kind and genuine person! There new store front is so cute and I love getting to browse before or after my appointment! I've had two facials with her and both times I have been in awe of what a transformation takes place. The lymph work she does totally changes the shape of my face. I look 5 years younger, healthier and more vibrant. I'll def keep seeing Milli!! read more

As a fellow esthetician, I can tell you that hands down, Mandy is incredible at sugaring!!! Her work is stellar and my standards are HIGH. From customer service to cleanliness and efficiency to being pretty-dang-pain-free, Mandy's got it dialed. Plus she is a lovely human being that you want to hang out with which becomes even more important when you are half-naked. :) In addition, she is super fun and funny! It's a total win-win. See you soon, chica! read more

Mandy is the absolute best! She's professional but warm, and so efficient! I have really sensitive skin and I find hair removal very painful usually, but coming to Mandy for Brazilian sugaring has been transformative. I actually look forward to the appointments! She's quick, friendly, fairly priced, and super knowledgeable. Her assistant is also super nice, and we're always chatting throughout the appointment! read more

Mandy is my favorite esthetician in Marin! It's so hard to find someone who knows how to sugar in the North Bay and Mandy is by far the best of the best. She does a very thorough job and the salon is very comfortable. She's also just a very down to earth person and I love catching up over our sessions. I once happened to forget my wallet at home and Mandy kindly let me Venmo her. I've been seeing her regularly for the last couple of months and I couldn't be happier! read more

I miss Mandy! I mean, because since I started sugaring, the hair doesn't even grow back on my legs anymore...at all! So I hardy see her anymore. Anyway, all the 5 star reviews are true. She's the best of the best of the best, and I've been to sugar-ers and sugar waxers all over the world. AND she's the ONLY PERSON ANYWHERE that I'll trust to do my eyebrows. They only need like 2 hairs plucked...she doesn't insist on giving me the bald eyebrow look like EVERYONE else, even if they say they understand when I say FULL BUSHY eyebrows. If you really want the best, go to Mandy and no one else. read more

Another 5 star review for a wonderful clinician and overall beautiful soul. What is there to say that hasn't been said already - I was looking for a new spot in Marin to get my wax on (or better said sugar on) and luckily came upon Mandy first. Easy scheduling through her on-line booking tool, cute studio located inside of a cute salon, easy going, mellow, experienced waxer & reasonable prices make this place hard to beat. Thank you Mandy! I look forward to the next 4-6 weeks of silky smoothness before you rip out the hairs of my nether-region once again ;) read more

Great place for eco friendly "sugaring"! Convenient location in Fairfax. Mandy is really nice and makes you feel comfortable. I would highly recommend! read more

Mandy is Marin County's skin extraordinaire! Go to her if you want bright and healthy skin (and you want to remove all that weird hair growing in random places). I've gotten facials and hair removal. The facial made my face feel ten years younger. She uses all natural organic sugar for hair removal. It's super high quality and she'll use wax if you want but the sugar is much gentler on your skin. So I'd recommend that and that's where she really excels. I'm a guy and it can be weird to get sugaring or waxing to remove hair but it's da bomb. Feels great! Mandy travels all around the country giving lessons on how to use sugar for hair removal. She's a master! She's also so friendly and relaxed and she'll put your mind at ease if you're feeling nervous at all, especially if you're a guy trying skin treatments for the first time or if you're getting a full male Brazilian or some other skin treatment you might feel self conscious about. People come from all around to get treatments from her, like Fairfax, San Rafael, San Anselmo, Mill Valley, Novato, Sausalito, San Francisco, etc I highly recommend Mandy! You won't be disappointed! read more

Mandy is amazing. She was gentle and super-professional. She did the best job with my brows. I would recommend her highly.

Came in on the day after thanksgiving and Mandy took me without an appointment - no problem!! Was very impressed. The facial felt AMAZING. It was only half an hour but my skin felt so so refreshed and smooth and glowing afterwards! She also really tried to make it relaxing for me which is what I wanted and I really appreciated that. All in all, an extremely professional and relaxing facial that made my day. Thanks Mandy!! Such a cozy little spot. read more

I wish I could give more than 5 stars! Mandy is the absolute best! I've gotten sugared by her 5 times, and wont go to anyone else. She knows what she's doing, she is quick, thorough, and very kind. She always makes me feel comfortable and confident with what she's doing. read more

Mandy, You are the best! Super good service, pleasant space and I love the products.

Mandy is the BEST! Fast, efficient, and she's funny! Makes for a wonderful experience in otherwise awkward situation! ;)

I am delighted to write a review for Mandy. I have been to Sugar Shack twice and plan to continue being one of her regular clients. Mandy made me feel comfortable right away and shared her knowledge of skin care with many helpful suggestions. She explained the treatments (threading and sugaring) and performed them quicklyand effectively. She is also very sweet and kind and has wonderful positive energy. I am delighted to have discovered her in Fairfax. read more

When I first moved to Fairfax, I was doubtful that I would find a new esthetician for all my sugaring needs. Through a quick search, I quickly found Mandy just 5 min walk from my house. Not only did I find a new person that is amazing at sugar-ing, but she also provides the best facials that leave your skin feeling radiant and clear weeks after the appointment. Even more of a bonus, Mandy does threading as well. All the amazing reviews for Mandy aren't lying; Mandy is skilled, warm and instantly makes you feel at ease. Every time I see her, she wastes no time catching up and making sure to form a 'human connection' when I walk in. Thank you Mandy! read more

I just had my first facial with Mandy and I'm so happy I found her! She gives an amazing facial for an extraordinarily affordable price. The products she used were organic and felt great on my skin. She was thorough with extractions (I told her to go for it) and gave some great tips for maintaining my skin at home. If you're looking for a solid facial given by a skilled esthetician, this is your place! I will definitely be back to try her sugaring. read more

Mandy is super sweet. She was very professional and made me feel comfortable the minute she started. Definitely recommend for sugaring!

The only reason I've avoided writing a review is because I know once word gets out she will be completely swamped with clients. Mandy is the perfect combination of charm and professionalism. I've gone to her since October 2017 for both facials and sugaring (averaging about one service per month). Her facials are beautifully conducted and she uses Jessa Skin Care products which leave skin feeling radiant. She talked me through the first facial I received and now I just lie back, understanding every step, and feel completely pampered. I get a brazilian sugar (as well as a couple other places sugared) and am always pleased with the results. She is consistently gentle and efficient, the perfect combination when dealing with sensitive spots. Thank you Mandy for making my skin feel amazing! read more

Mandy was warm, kind, and did a great job with my brows. She was willing to work with my budget and her new business is a great asset to our town! read more

Mandy is amazing! I came to her for the first time this past summer before going on a two week camping trip and three week road trip. I was so happy with the smoothness and longevity of the sugaring! On top of that she eased my anxieties and provides the most comfortable experience. I really appreciate her and highly recommend her to anyone tired of ingrown hairs/shaving! She's a gem, can't say enough about how easy she makes this experience! read more
