As long as Jessica works here, I don't think I need to try any other place. She was incredible with my brows. I prefer threading (I'm South Asian IYKYK), which Jessica does. But after a consultation, she suggested waxing might be best for the hair growth I had. I trusted her judgement and was not disappointed! I came to this salon 4 years ago for wedding make-up. Lauren did an excellent job so I came back today for another make-up application. Meoki did a flattering natural look on me. I was going to a photoshoot for a headshot to market my novel and my author website. Meoki was very focused and asked for feedback as she did the application. Meoki is THE BEST! She is a co-owner at Dollface and she is a boss babe. She knows exactly what she is doing, especially when it comes to making my brows look better with Nanoblading. She truly cares about making you leave happy and she is very precise, making sure to be more on the conservative and natural side, which is preferable with brows. Came here for the first time today for a lash lift as I couldn't get an appointment with my usual lash lift professional. I live in town and wanted to give DollFace a try. Things didn't start off great due to a twenty minute delay. The young woman who I had my appointment with was working on another client and while I understand you need to make all clients feel valued and special, I felt like an afterthought. I've been getting lash lifts for seven years and my appointment with DollFace felt rushed and not precise. Everyone working there is nice but there was a lack of polished professionalism in my opinion. Staff was being trained during my appointment but it felt more like socialization between two friends to which I was the third wheel. I wasn't asked about how tight I like my curl or felt that my thick hair was taken into account in terms of timing. By the time I arrived home, my lash lift had fallen flat. My lashes looked the same an hour after my appointment as they did before I got my service. The only reason I felt the need to write this review is that upon returning home, my husband said verbatim after looking at my eyes "wait, I thought you had a lash appointment. Did you not go?" I have never experienced results like this after any lash lift and feel like I wasted my $130. This may have been a one off and I'm sure that DollFace has many wonderful services to offer. It just wasn't for me and I most likely will not be returning. read more

I love the staff here! The owner is wonderful too. The services are great, and I love how social and upbeat the vibe is here. Too often you go to get your brows done and are put by yourself in a room...it always just feels awkward to me, personally. I really enjoy the way they've set it up like a hair salon. And they only do classic sets of lashes. I literally has to go once a week to try to maintain my lashes. I personally can't afford to spend that much time out of my life getting my lashes done. So went here last December 15 to have my lashes done,and I used the groupon for that service, cashier/receptionist redeemed it and yet they still changed my debit card which is on their file, so I called them,they told me they will refund the money on my account but it's been 2weeks and no money was being refunded, i called them again today and someone told me they did actually refund me in the form of gift card..Wow! If I could give ZERO stars I would. I made two appointments online-with my credit card-received notification and confirmed online. The morning of the appointment, my daughter receives a call telling her that her appointment is cancelled because someone called in sick. Oddly enough when I called the salon, the woman who she was booked with was there-so some other customer got my daughter's appointment! Then they informed her that she didn't have a second appointment for makeup-even though I confirmed it and have the email. Possibly the most unprofessional experience ever. If all you want is to waste your time making appointments, inputting your credit card and confirming appointments then this is the place for you. If you actually want the services you booked for PROM and expect the appointments not to be cancelled the same day, then perhaps look elsewhere. read more

I've been coming here two or so years and am happy with the service. I would recommend. However, I'm posting to let the owner know my opinion regarding the new "no cash" policy! It seems a lot of your business(when I'm there), besides product is face waxing and tinting, which for the most part is $25 here $30 there. I prefer using cash when shopping locally to avoid $%charges and for tips. So my last experience at Dollface, the lady asked me to include more of a tip on my card to cover the $%charges as to not short tip my server. I'm sorry "boss" this is your policy, and now your customers/employees have to pay for that. Pretty much makes me want to go elsewhere. I hope you reconsider, I realize my $30-60/monthly habit is small change for you. I consider my self a loyal and fair person and would like to continue coming. read more

Scheduled an appointment two months ahead of time for eyelash extensions because I knew I had an event and wanted to make sure they had availability. Specifically asked the woman I spoke with if it was too far out to make an appointment, and she replied that it was not. She also scheduled me on a Sunday, because she said lash appointments could be made on Sunday and Mondays when the rest of the salon was closed. Low and behold, I show up for my appointment and the salon is closed, no one is here, and no one is answering phones. Pretty poor service and respect for client time. Kyonda is a great esthetician! As a busy mom, I need my face done up from time to time, and she does the job efficiently and well. Whether it be makeup, or a waxing of facial hair, she has me looking and feeling good. I especially like when she does my eyebrows. I have particularly thin eyebrows and she knows exactly what to do. I was extremely disappointed with their eyelash extensions. I have gone 3 times now, once for a full set and then back two times for a fill. The first day after the full set I noticed that well over 10-15 lashes fell out. I thought hmm ok, maybe it was my lashes going through a growth spurt and having gotten eyelash extensions consistently for the past 5 years I thought I'd give them the benefit of the doubt. I went back for a fill and again same thing happened! After a weeks time more than a half of the lashes had fallen out. That should not happen after just one weeks time. I got a fill on Sept. 13 and it is now Sept. 22 and I literally only have 10 lashes left! That is ridiculous and not a sign of good lash application. I called to see if they could take me in and explained that all my lashes had nearly fallen out after a week and they told me I had to wait over a week and half to come back in for an appointment. From a customer service standpoint after I've explained my situation, the experience with my lashes falling out I would have appreciated a refund or more action on trying to get me an appointment sooner. I will now be going elsewhere for my lash extensions and they don't seem to have the quality I am looking for and have experienced at other places. read more

DollFace Beauty in San Anselmo is a lovely new addition to Central Marin! The space is luxurious and inviting. They offer waxing, makeup, and other beauty services including custom lash extensions and tinting. The services I've had so far have been of very good quality, with great attention to detail and cleanliness. Example: I noticed the brow artist never re-dipped her waxing stick into the hot wax. I really appreciate such details, which are surprisingly hard to find, even in very high-end salons. The overall presentation is very upscale but not pretentious in any way. Welcome DollFace! First time I went in for full lash set one eye completely fell out within 2 days they got me back in quickly and made it right. When I made the fill appt it took over 4 weeks to get back in. Needless to say all lashes are off except a few weird ones that are handing on. She did an ok job but I won't go back. Came into town for the holiday and was looking for a refreshing facial after an exhausting thanksgiving. I called and made an appointment and they more than exceeding my expectations. Booked a full facial with Rebecca and it was amazing. I loved that she took the facial to my neck and the top of my chest, it was relaxing and the bonus was the subtle massage throughout. She was gentle and very knowledgeable about all the products she used, it's a must since I have sensitive skin. Rebecca was so awesome, I wish she was in LA so I could see her regularly.
