Karla is friendly and you can tell she has a lot of experience. The waxes are efficient (but not rushed) so I'm in and out of there quick. They are also very reasonably priced. I came here for the first time last week, and I got the signature facial service from Eulalia. I came here because I had been dealing with acne breakouts due to hairstyling products unfortunately irritating my skin. Eulalia was extremely knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. She applied different cleansers and serums (sorry I don't know the terminology, I'm a guy on my second facial), and performed extractions afterwards. There was a facial steaming process in there, and also some blue light therapy and an ozone wand process. It all felt very relaxing- even the extractions weren't painful for me. During the facial, she gave me recommendations on what I can do in my own time for my acne. I really appreciated her information, as she was very transparent on what I should do, and she never pushed products on me. She just simply told me they sold some of the recommendations, but I can do my own research and get them later or from another source. She was very genuine and I respect that a lot. She later wrote down these recommendations for me to take home. I would highly, highly recommend Ency, and ask for Eulalia's service. When I first walked in, I was greeted by Nadia. The spa was clean, quiet, and beautifully decorated. They had fresh flowers and paintings from local artists which gave the waiting area a nice touch. Nadia made sure to prioritize my comfort- offering water, restroom, and establishing clear communication. The room was prepped on time and made to be a sanctuary for the next hour. Nadia, one of the owners, was super sweet in listening to my skin care journey and providing a facial personalized to my needs. She knew exactly how to deal with extractions without being too harsh and left my skin feeling clean and light. They are both amazing and I'm happy they finally started their own business in Sausalito. They are both highly skilled, very knowledgeable, meticulous, and attentive with my skin. I had been seeing Nadia in SF for my brows and gel peels. Was I sad to see her leave? Yes. Was I SO happy to hear that she opened her own business with her co-worker, Christine? YES! I made the easy drive over to Sausalito (why don't I do this more often?), found free parking right in front of the building, and opened the door to the most adorable salon I've ever been in. Nadia and Christine have put real thought into their new place and it shows. From the heated (so lovely!) tables to the beautiful art on the walls, the atmosphere is warm and inviting. There are only a few people I will trust with my brows and Nadia is one of them. The shape is always perfect as is the tint. I get so many compliments on them! And the gel peels always leave my skin smooth and glowing.
