Worst experience. Do not recommend. This place is hands down one of the worst businesses I've ever been to. The man who runs it is incredibly rude and dismissive. During my most recent visit, he physically tapped/hit my shoulder while telling me to sit down--in front of other customers--which was completely inappropriate and uncomfortable. They have zero respect for customers' time. Every single visit, I've been told the wait would be "a few minutes," only to end up waiting 20 minutes, an hour, or even an hour and a half--even when I had an appointment. They consistently lie about wait times. I've asked directly, "Should I come now?" and been told yes, only to arrive and be made to wait indefinitely. In this last visit, I was told "two minutes" while the technician was clearly just starting a full acrylic set on someone else. When I tried to leave after realizing I'd been misled again, I was told to sit back down--and that's when he touched my shoulder. I left without getting my nails done. Tammy is the only competent and professional person there, which is why everyone requests her--but that alone doesn't justify how poorly customers are treated. The only reason this place stays in business is its convenient location. If there were literally any other option nearby, I would never step foot in here again. I rarely leave bad reviews, but this experience--and the pattern of disrespect--deserves to be called out. read more

Excellent service! The moment I walked in I was greeted and helped right away. I was offered tea or water and was told about the specials for the day. I really liked this nail salon because of the location and how cute the inside of it is. It's a very clean salon and modern style. I got a fill in with regular nail polish color. I loved how they have a variety of different colors in matte, glossy, or sparkly form. The lady Lily who did my nails was amazing and friendly. We had a nice conversation and she really took her time in making sure my nails looked nice. She didn't rush and was very gentle with my nails. She also mentioned to me that I should take my keys out and phone so I don't ruin my nails when it's time to leave digging into my purse. I also paid before she applied the nail polish so I can prevent from ruining my nails. I really like the fact they care about customer satisfaction and prevent their customers from damaging their nails. Happy hour discount M-Th 9am-1pm with complimentary beverages. I found out their cousin Holly is the owner and recently had a baby; therefore, these friendly sisters are running the nail salon. They remodeled back in April, and patrons inside spoke highly of this new space/transformation. I enjoyed my gel manicure with a nice hand massage and hot towel to end the night. Worst pedicure I've ever had and I've been a lot of places (and they were WAY cheaper). My toes should've been dry by the time my manicure was complete so I have no idea how I walked out with a totally screwed up big toe (see picture). Regular manicure was good and still looks great. Staff was weirder than usual. I had an appointment so time shouldn't have been an issue but they still kept rushing it along. Felt very hurried and the guy even insisted I pay WHILE I was in the middle of my manicure. Somehow didn't mess my nails up but just what in the hell?? I got a lovely manicure from an older woman who didn't speak english or want to talk. She was nice enough though. They just got in new massage chairs for the pedicures though so I need to go back and try it again (with a friend to talk to or a book to read). Also, as an FYI - I know that they let you bring in alcoholic drinks for while you are getting your pedicure. Two older women were drinking champagne on ice and getting loud and giggly when I got my nails done. Friendly staff offered water/tea, but I'm betting that's because they're trying to make up for poor reviews. 1. HOT water. Caught off guard by how really hot the water was for soaking the cuticles. 2. Dull cuticle nipper. Tech just opted to file cuticles along with the top of my skin instead of doing a proper trim. I winced in pain when she applied acetone. 3. Pieces of applicator brush were on a couple nails. I pointed this out, but tech just smiled and polished over them anyway. 4. Thumbnail had a bubble and all the nails on my left hand had rough gel edges. One week update: My fingers still sting like a b*tch from her filing my skin off. read more

I had appointment and yet I spent almost 3 hours just to get acrylic manicure and pedicure. There's no such thing as appointment as they don't know how to follow it. The technician should have not worked there. She's unskilled and did hurt my fingers many times. The nails were not even in size, uneven application of nail polish and so thick. They have obnoxious customers who are loud and felt like a ghetto. I was unhappy and asked for discount and they refuse to give me so I have them what I think it's worth and walked out. I have gotten my acrylics done multiple times by Lily and every time they are absolutely fantastic. She's extremely precise and makes sure I absolutely love them before applying polish. So, my second experience was not as nice as the first one. The girl that did my nails the first time was not there, I assume she left for a better place to work! Haha. The second time they were so busy, I felt like they "squeezed me in"... This person was nice enough but Then she gave her opinions on things I did not ask her opinion about like asking me If I live with my parents (NO! Apparently i look like a teenager) and she told me three times that she didn't like French tips on short nails... talking specifically to me! I was like "um...maybe that's why you didn't do a great job because you don't even like French tips on short nails!" Is this business in Sausalito or Marin City? My review is mainly for Holly, who is my usual mani/pedi person. She's very bubbly and fun- also attentive and meticulous! She does great work- my nails are always nice, even and thin. She's also not pushy about the upgrades, which is a plus! I can go three weeks in between fills, and it's usually two with most places. This is the only nail place that has been able to get acrylic to adhere to my nail beds with no problem. Addressing the other reviews- Holly has never nicked me, but the one other time I saw someone else- sure enough! "OW!!" Don't suffer in silence, ladies! ;) Nice touch-they add rose petals and lemon to the water in the footbaths, and the hot stone massage that goes along with the pedicure is very relaxing. Spa-like touches in a strip mall! I don't think they're that pricey- it's comparable to what I used to spend in Central Cali (and the cost of living is considerably lower there.) I think a fill is $15, and a pedi is about $25. read more
