I've been coming here for a while now to get gel pedicures. Sydney the owner is very sweet and so are the rest of the ladies. Everyone there does an amazing job from start to finish. My toes always look perfect, they take their time and make sure that everything is taken care of! The ultimate place to pamper yourself. The salon is very cozy and everyone goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable and to make sure that you are happy and get the exact results that you wish for. Would never return or recommend! I called prior to my appointment to change my appointment from Classpass (I recognize I called the wrong place but upon my conversations and confirmations I did not realize until the end of my service). The woman who answered the phone said I can change my appointment I made on Classpass no worries. When I arrived I confirmed I am checking in for my Classpass appointment. I received my manicure and tipped cash. I left as I was confident that I had paid via Classpass. However, the woman ran after me very upset that I did not pay. Confused, I explained that I had signed up via Classpass and paid. She said she had no idea what that was and I must pay...claiming she was busy and did not hear me. I was firm that there was a misunderstanding and I would pay for the service but why did you confirm and change my Classpass appointment when I called and when I walked in and said Classpass very clearly. She proceeded to become very upset, and other patrons started getting upset at me. It was very aggressive and not how a business owner should handle a miscommunication when it was due to their negligence. I told her please ensure you are very clear in your communication, as this could have all been prevented had on the phone she notified me I called the wrong salon and they do not participate in classpass. It could have been cleared up right on the phone. This unfortunately has happened not just once, but to others as well. I went here a few times for a regular manicure (not gels). I have strong nails and don't need gels. I got gels years ago and it took awhile for my nails to recover. Anyway, the tops of my nails were over-filed, no base coat was applied. Now, my nails are breaking vertically and bending, and they are stained from filing down the tops of the nails and directly applying polish. They might be ok for gels, but they have no idea what they're doing (and how much damage they are causing) with a regular manicure. I have never had such damage in my life (except for the last time I got a gel manicure) and won't be back. They are either extremely incompetent with manicures, or they want to damage your nails so that they can upsell their gel manicures. read more

I just realized that I had never written a review for this salon even though I've been coming in for a number of years now. When I first came here, my nails were in bad shape from going to my previous salon and they became stronger and healthier after making this my regular salon. I love that they do not close super early and that they are open all weekend so it is very easy to get appointments. The place is bright, clean, and has none of the nasty smells of places that do fake nails. It has a fresh and elegant vibe with relaxing classical music playing. Sydney runs an efficient, well-oiled machine and I have never had to wait. All of the employees are very nice and well-trained and I love my time zoning out in the massage chair and/or reading a book at a manicure table and then leaving with my beautiful nails. Best gel mani I've had in a while and my toes with regular polish look fantastic as well! They did a better job here of getting the dead skin off my feet and smoothing things over than they did at other places. Time wise, the ladies were very accommodating. I was running 10 minutes late due to a lane closure and called to let them know. Apparently other people before me were running late or no showing so they had to figure out how to squeeze in their appointments, which they did. I keep going back because the staff is wonderful, I always get a great mani/pedi and, the owner keeps the appointments running on time. It's also a great location, easy to park, and has a gorgeous view looking out over the bay! The atmosphere is fun and friendly and the prices for services are very reasonable. The owner, Sydney, was very condescending in the way she was addressing me., she did not even look at me, of issue a slight smile (even with her mask) When I went to pay, and said I would need to pay by CC, she told me there was a 4% charge, I said ok, it is the only form of payment I have, I only have enough cash for the tips. Same, she seems annoyed to have to run a card. I felt if you are not a regular, you are not worth it! 3 Stars for the manicure which lasted over 2 weeks, and the service given by Vicky. I have been to many salons all over the country for close to 25 years! This one is the BEST! I feel like I am on a mini vacation when I arrive: It never feels rushed. The owner always finds time for me irrespective of my crazy schedule sometimes staying until 8 pm. My nails are always fabulous. I had terrible nails about 6 months ago which have become really weak due to years of bad work and she saved them!
