Suzie's nails is the best nail salon ever. The gel manicure stays on 3+ weeks -- no other nail salon place lasts that long (trust me). I try other places and end up always coming back because it's just the best. I also got a facial here and was the best! I almost fell asleep it was so good. Relaxing and my face looked amazing after. Definitely a good place to come and get pampered! Friendly staff too read more

Suzie's Nails - Treated myself to magnetic gel in silver. Love the shimmer - Nail Salons Near Me - Sausalito, California

Great neighborhood mani-pedi family owned business. Suzy has owned this shop for years, and has had the same group of sweet hardworking women with her. Van gives the BEST foot and back messages. Incredible value! Nina is fast and diligent with the pedicure. Love this shop. read more

I found my new nail spot!!! I just moved to the neighborhood and was so glad to stumble upon Suzie's Nails. Suzie was such a delight to be around. She's very friendly, sociable and has such great energy, you can tell she really cares about all of her clients. On top of that, she gave me an amazing dip powder manicure. Some places always do dip way too thick, but that's not the case with Suzie. She carefully put on the dip powder and kept it very thin making my nails look super natural! My pedicure also turned out great. I'm sure the rest of the staff is just as good as Suzie. I will definitely be coming back! read more

Found this gem thru yelp! I've been to a lot of places with good review and have been disappointed but Nina did not disappoint at all! She did an amazing job on my ruined french nails that was done at another salon in sacramento just 1.5 weeks prior! Yayyyyy will be returning! read more

I thought I was going to like it at Suzie's Nails. The work isn't the issue I have. I went in for a mani pedi and it was $85. Toes gel and fingernails regular polish. I gave a great 24% tip. Great, right!? Then close to completing my nails I asked aren't you going to put light glitter which is what I said when I was picking out my colors. The gal proceeded to add literally a stroke of glitter. In the background Suzie is asking her if she charged me, the tech said no I didn't know and she already paid. Yes I already paid and gave my TIP. Suzie proceeds to come over to me and asks me to pay $3.00 for the glitter. She even volunteers to take my card out of my purse because my nails are wet.... I was so disappointed. Really? $3 charge after I just gave a nice tip and it wasn't my mistake. Someone didn't listen when I said what I wanted. Anyway, I'll try a different place moving forward. It's not the 3 bucks, believe me, I just didn't feel valued. And I've taken family and friends there also which didn't matter to her. She wanted her $3! read more

Love Suzie's Nails! Specifically because of Izzy :) I go see Izzy for my lashes here. It's her Moms Shoppe. Izzy is very meticulous & thorough with her lash application. Since she does such a wonderful job w my lashes I started manicures here as well. Of all of the shoppes in Sausalito this shop is professional with the staff that engages with you. The other nail salons have unhappy staff gossiping in their foreign language. read more

Thought I would try out a salon in Sausalito, and it was not what I expected. My first visit, there was no interest in impressing me as a new customer. No friendly banter, wouldn't let me sit in the relaxing pedicure chair which I requested, but brought a small tray for my feet. My polish was lumpy and didn't last a week before chipping both hands and feet. Adding insult to injury, this mani pedi was $90 which is $15 more than I usually spend. Bad experience all around. read more

They took off the gel from my toes using the acrylic buffing tool which ruins your nails. I asked her not to do that because my nails are fragile and she should use acetone instead, but she ignored me and continue to do what she wanted. Afterward, since the buffing tool did not remove the gel from the corners, she used the cuticle nippers to remove the rest- I was blown away by the lack of care. In addition, they let me know that due to COVID, they charge an extra $10 for buffing the bottom of your foot, ridiculous. The tab would have been $98 for gel many and pedi including the $5 fee for gel removal plus the $10 fee for basic buffing. Are they joking? This is more expensive than the best SF nail salon. I will never go back. PS: I was so upset that asked to not have my hands done and just had her finish my feet with just a top coat to get out of there as fast as possible. read more

Getting a pedicure used to be similar to going to the dentist. I knew it was going to hurt. But not at Suzie's! Gentle and efficient, and the price is right. If you need some nail TLC and you're near Sausalito, this is where you need to go! My sister and I were visiting San Francisco and decided to check out Muir Woods which is not too far from Sausalito. Since we'd been hoofing it during our trip on the hills in town and hiking, we decided to treat ourselves and get mani pedis after lunch (at 6.5 months pregnant you better believe I was in need of some treat yoself time!). Suzie's was perfect - no wait, fantastic service and a beautiful shellac mani pedi that has lasted 2 weeks with not a single chip or peel. Susie herself and one of her nail techs worked on us and both were awesome and such a sweethearts - super friendly and interested in our trip and shared a lot about her travels too. Reasonably priced! Highly recommend stopping by if you're in need of some nail love! read more

I've been going to Suzies every month for 2-1/2 years and can honestly say quality of services remain consistent and I always leave satisfied. My typical requests are always waxing, pedicure, and the neck massage. Every month I receive my personal reminder text, and how I do appreciate these given my hectic work life. They remember what services I get and my preferred day and time. There have been a couple of last minute requests, and they always seem to accommodate. The greetings and their ability to always make me feel comfortable are stellar. It's not one of those fancy classy high-end spas, but definitely the services received are much better quality with much lower pricing. Now that I've moved further north, I still refuse to go anywhere else. It's worth the 30 min drive! read more

Small unassuming female owned business. Great quality work. I've been coming consistently for 2 months for eyelashes, manis and pedis and have always been very happy with the results. Also: mania and pedis: they are super fast- the fastest I've experienced while still providing excellent work. Also eyelashes are done meticulously! Lastly: they accept Venmo! Gotta love that! Highly recommend!!! read more

My one-and-only nail spa! Great service, super friendly & welcoming, very clean and beautiful work. Whether you need a mani/pedi or their other spa services, this team is by far the best around town. I often make special requests with nail designs and they deliver every time. read more

They were ok, my gel nails were lifting off that evening and they charged me $5 to take off the gel that was on my nails when I came I even though I was getting my nails done- I've never had anyone do that. The three stars is because they were nice but the place is not super. read more

Great low key and very clean Nail and waxing day spa. I love the simple roll on wax technique that really insures great coverage and super consistent wax application for a great clean wax job. Great pedicure too at a nice price. Two thumbs up! read more

Update: I finally took the plunge and got lash extensions done after over a year of watching other clients walk out of the salon looking gorgeous. I have a bad back and trouble lying down. Suzie was patient, gentle and did a phenomenal job. The end result-they look great and I couldn't be happier! A jewel if a shop and if your looking for extensions-a great technician and outside the city, this is a definite recommendation! Posting the before and after. I have been a regular client of Suzie's for the last five years and love, love, love this salon. Suzie is more than a manicurist, she is a friend and she and her staff are the nicest people and all do an amazing job. Suzie does a great job on my nails as well as on my brows (both waxing and tinting) and is so precise that I would never go anywhere else. The salon is super clean with great big spa chairs for pedicures which are also very well done. Although they do take walk-ins, it is great to be able to make a regular appointment and when you call in for a last minute appointment , they always find the time to fit you in. Suzie's is a little untapped gem in Sausalito that I highly recommend. read more

Suzie did my nails with a Shellac - she explained the process every step of the way - great job!

Thank you to all at Suzie's Nails. They have done a fantastic job meeting all the guidelines that are expected because of corona virus. I have been sheltering in place and am very careful as to where I go and I must say I feel very safe at Suzie's nails. First thing is temperature check and washing hands. There are plastic barriers between stations that are 6 feet apart and barriers between technicians and client. All staff wear masks and gloves and all clients have had masks on. Everyone is very nice, professional and accommodating. I've been going there for 20 years and have NEVER been disappointed. A beautiful manicure always puts me in a good mood! Makes me feel better during this crazy time. read more

I highly recommend this salon. I have been getting my nails done for over 30 yrs at many different nail salons. I must say I find Suzie's nail salon to be amongst the top. I now have silk wraps which is a lost skill. Most salons do not offer it. Suzie is so good my nails last at least 3 weeks and as a nurse my hands are in water all day so that is saying a lot. I truly enjoy my visits. The staff are so friendly I feel like I'm visiting close friends and not just having a service done. Please, you haven't lived until you've had a back massage by Van. I hope to meet many new customers at my favorite nail salon when we all return to our normal lives again. Until then stay safe and heathy. read more

Great service, very professional, love my pedicure. Fast, courteous and reasonably priced too.

Took a chance and stopped by to see if could get a manicure - and Suzie was very welcoming. I decided to try the gel polish to strengthen my nails - and Suzie explained every step of the process. She was very helpful and informative, and I definitely will be going back. Prices were reasonable, and atmosphere was very nice. Although I did not have a pedicure - she offers two different pedicures which is great. read more

Most enjoyable pedicure I've ever had... from the warm welcome to the massaging chairs to the pampering, gentle pedi itself. Nina did a very careful, beautiful job and even helped advise me on a more flattering shade of the color I picked out. Suzie is outspoken, friendly, and hilarious. Looking forward to coming back in a few weeks before vacation for a really fun pedi. I will probably take her up on her suggestion for a little nail art, which I passed on this time. When going to Vegas... get nail art, right?? read more

Suzie hasn't raised her prices in a decade so she's a bit stingy with the luxury that some may think comes with a manicure. The end result, however, is very impressive. My nails haven't looked this good in a long time and it doesn't take those girls long to get the job done. Watch out for the ditzy ritzy crowd of Sausalito housewives with their variety of toy dogs that roam free...maybe the fumes will take effect some day. read more

Probably the wordy salon experience I've ever had. I wanted a simple color change. No filing no cutting, just a color change, she filled all my nails un evenly, she broke half my nails as well. She changed the price right before I was going to pay, this is a really upsetting situation as I've tried to grow out my nails for the last 2 months and she disregarded everything I said. Horrible service. Horrible experience read more

Missing my favorite nail salon during this pandemic! This salon is the best around, in my humble opinion. They are kind, courteous, on time and do an excellent job on my nails and my pedicures.
