I've been here twice and happened to have Mimi both times. Unfortunately, both experiences left me disappointed. On my first visit, I found the service dismissive and unwelcoming, and I was also quoted one price and then charged $10 extra for a "strong nail" service I never requested; it was only removed after I questioned it. I was hopeful that giving the salon another chance would lead to a better experience, but unfortunately I experienced that same dismissive attitude again on this last visit. When I pointed out that the base color was not what I asked for, she attempted to correct it with a quick, sloppy coat of another color, which only made it worse, rather than making a real effort to get the look right. Ultimately, I was left with a color I hadn't asked for. For the price and the level of service that should come with it, I expected better communication, attention to detail, and an overall friendlier experience. Went to have my acrylic nails removed. I've never had such a rude and painful experience! Diane covered my fingernails with polish remover and foil, instead of waiting a few minutes for the acrylic to soften she immediately began picking them off with a very sharp instrument throwing the continent, foils onto the ground ! They didn't come off easily, so she used a Dremel tool, in high to filed them down. Often drilling in to my own fingernail; a painful burning sensation. Then used a very sharp tool to pick off what was remaining which ended up removing the top layer of my own fingernail. I yelled out in pain three times. All this a total of seven minutes! The Pedicure took about 10 minutes, no massage no callus removal. Several times I asked her to slow down as she was hurting me. There was no hand massage. The woman next to me was getting a pedicure when I arrived and it was still going on when I left. I will never go back to Diane. The other workers seemed like they really took their time and did an excellent job. read more

Love this place and after reading some of the reviews and looking at pictures, some are clearly fake. On person posted a photo of nails that were minimum two weeks post-service given the growth. I would rather they keep costs down than have a dedicated person greeting you at the door. Please. They say hi, ask you to pick color, you sit, they get started. Once in a while you may have to wait a few minutes because they are backed up. They are kind and friendly. My 22-year-old is obsessed with the quality of their work. read more

I wanted to love this place based off the reviews and photos, but my first time here Mimi did my nails and I felt like I was a burden to her, I simply asked for my nails to be shorter and filed more squared, so when she asked me to check to see if the length was fine, I asked her if I can get them shorter, she then slammed her hand on her desk with the nail file in her hand, then she looked at the other worker next to her then started speaking in a different language about me (I knew cause she pointed at me while she was talking to the other worker) I then chuckled because I didn't think it would be a problem?? So it was just silent and very awkward, I was uncomfortable the whole entire time! I will say, the other lady who I believe mainly does toes did my gel pedicure, she was the sweetest human being and did a fantastic job! Terrible. I came in on my birthday a few days ago and I left in tears. The lady doing my nails (Mimi) made me feel like I was a burden to her time and was just generally rude. It started when I asked her if I could get my nails a bit shorter as I work with computers so it's a bit difficult for me to type with long nails. In response to me asking, she shook her head and said no. I was caught off guard and asked what she meant, and she just said no again. She also was constantly rushing me, not allowing me to look at my nails before putting them in the UV light to let them set. Then, right before even allowing my hand to sit under the light, only triggering it because it noticed my movement before actually putting my hand in, not giving it time to even set, I noticed she did an incredibly sloppy job on one of my nails, it was clear it was done messy. I told her if she wouldn't mind redoing it because I wasn't too confident in how it look, even telling her we can just make it a plain french tip rather then adding a small circle to it. She immediately groaned. Not just a small groan, it sounded almost similar to a growl. As if some child is upset at their parents. She then started YELLING at me, yelling about how I need to say something and more. Along with yelling at me, she begins to talk to the lady working next to her, pointing at me and my nails, angrily speaking. Although I could not understand what she was saying, as a teenager, watching a grown women who didn't know me, was rushing me, being rude to me, and now yelling at me on my birthday was simply too much. I struggle extremely with people I am unfamiliar with and I just began crying. I had to turn my head away multiple times for the rest of the appointment because I did not want anyone to see me crying. I was so embarrassed and I just wanted to go home. Once she finished her work, at first glanced, the nails looked pretty nice, but once I actually looked at them, I noticed what a sloppy job she did on all my nails, some of the nail polish being put on super messy, my nails being crooked, and other things that just had me wondering why I even decided to go to this salon. I had a women sitting next to me, doing acrylic nails with polish and a design ALONG WITH a pedicure. She paid about $125 TOTAL. I got gel extensions with a design and paid $160. I understand getting a design can add to pricing, but I do not understand how someone doing acrylics, designs, and a pedicure will pay less than me who just did gel extensions? Mimi looked almost disappointed when she was tipped $10. I did not even want to tip her at all. This was an extremely disgusting experience and I will never be bringing my money back here again. I just wish I could get my money back rather than paying almost $200 for the treatment I received. Thank you for bringing a teenage girl to tears on her birthday. read more

I was visiting from out of town and selected this place because it was open on Sunday, and they seemed to get favorable reviews particularly for their supposed "friendly " service. Well... When I walked in, the staff barely greeted me and grunted, "go pick your color". The vibe was very subdued, almost like going into a funeral home. One of the staff gestured indicating to come sit at on of the manicure stations. She did not greet me or say one word throughout the service. But she was quick to take my credit card to process. When I got up to leave, I tried making eye contact with the staff to thank them and say goodbye--- they totally ignored me; no thank you, no acknowledgment... they acted mute. The only positive was they did an ok job on my basic mani, but was not worth the unfriendly , zero customer attentiveness at this establishment. Maybe they acted this way because I'm not a regular or that I'm from out of town. Nonetheless that's no excuse for their lack of customer care. Would never, ever go back. read more

This is an updated review to my previous one. I just want to thank Kim who took the time to redo my nails. She did such an amazing job and really took her time and made sure I left happy, which I did. Every few minutes she would check in on me to make sure I liked my nails, the shape, the length, and had amazing customer service. She did such an incredible job. Made an appointment a week prior and was told they were not busy, when i came in they forgot to write the appointment in there books and were completely busy with over 10 clients. My full set acrylic was rushed and took only 20 minutes. I was cut and bleeding from a nail file due to her not paying attention and going so fast, the nails are not remotely even and the polish is done very poorly, my cuticles were left completely torn up and dry. Ended up spending $80 on a short set. These nails should not have been 80 and when i noted how they were bleeding and uneven i was told that i had to pay that price, she told me that she apologized for the bleeding and there was nothing she could do. read more

Ok mani/pedi, terrible customer service. I called to schedule appt, they said too busy. Then called me back 5 mins later to say yes. I was stuck in traffic - said I can't make 5:30, can they see me at 6. They said yes. I bust my butt with rush hour traffic getting there - only to find all the chairs filled, a customer picking out color (apparently about to sit down) and a gaggle of 6 teen girls waiting. When I asked who I spoke to on the phone that told me to come in - I was met with blank stares and asked if I could wait a minute. Are you kidding me? I drove by 3 other salons that could have accommodated me. There was no way I could have been accommodated at 5:30 or 6pm. If they could have just said no we are too busy I could have gone elsewhere. The total lack of customer service and regard for my time/schedule is atrocious. If you say yes - then execute the service on time. If you (obviously) don't have the bandwidth say no. Don't waste my time. Never again going there. Too many other salons with better service. read more
