I went to Lam for hard gel, but Hannah and Emma are also great! Hannah is a sweetheart and the owner, she can be hard to get in with but Lam was spectacular. Her attention to detail was incredible and she took her time but was still efficient. Amazing gel pedicures too with Tina and Vicky! All the girls are great. The chairs are nice and they do the most special spa pedicure with so many luxurious touches and extra massage time, worth every penny. I really am blown away. It's quiet and peaceful and they are total professionals. Also the pricing is on par with other salons so it's totally the best option around. Love them so much!

Nail Motif is the complete opposite. I don't know what magic they use, but my natural polish manicures last a solid week -- sometimes even longer! The quality is unmatched. Beyond the results, the entire experience is just wonderful. The salon is clean, bright, and welcoming, with an amazing polish selection. I never know what color to choose, but the team always steers me right -- they have a great eye and never miss. The foot massages during the pedicures are next-level relaxing, whether you want to chat or just unwind. The Nail Motif ladies are warm, funny, and genuinely care about making every client feel like they're among friends. Even the other customers are kind and friendly -- it's truly just good vibes all around. I live in Corte Madera and have several salons I could walk to, but Nail Motif is 100% worth the drive. My friend and I were able to get a same day appointment. I got a pedi and my friend got a mani and a pedi. My experience overall was great and the lady who did my nails was nice and friendly. She spent a good amount of time massaging my legs and feet and I didn't feel she rushed through my appointment. The salon is clean and tidy. First off, the ladies really seem to know what they're doing -- I come in with some pretty bad cases of hangnails and bitten nails, and the salon always takes care of all these issues. My manicures are consistently clean-looking and beautiful. My most favorite thing is getting little flowers on my toes during the summertime. (The salon has an ingenious method.) My girlfriends had been so impressed with my manicures that I've taken them here to get their nails done as well. -Service: I am REALLY sensitive (ticklish?) when it comes to my feet. I warned the lady, and she took care to not make me uncomfortable during my pedicure and accompanying foot massage. The care I received for my eyebrow wax was also great. The lady took the time to look at my face and see what shape would compliment it. She also listened to me when I told her I didn't want my eyebrows too thin.
