I am very disappointed at what this place has become. My family and I have been coming here for 25 years, since they had the first location across the street. To me a big thing when I go to an establishment to eat is the service. The waitresses here are very rude and don't like their job to say the least. You ask for something and get the evil eye. It takes a long time to order at least drinks and recently my husband and I came here to eat, and left after two big parties were seated before us, they had us waiting for a table and then sat someone else there, no apology nothing. this place is a joke. im never coming here again. read more

This place doesn't even deserve one star. I ate here on Sunday. Ordered the tostada de ceviche de pescado. It was rotten. It is disgusting to be served rotten seafood. Love this place. Great food if Mexican-style seafood is what you're looking for. Clean, not low but reasonable prices. Downside is parking (sometimes) very small parking area. Having said that, I've been there when the parking lot is full and though it's been annoying, it was worth it. read more

The place was pretty packed so i guess some people like it. However, my first impression was not Good at all. Besides the food being mediocre (tostada de ceviche). The service was not there at all. It seemed like every waitress had an attitude just by the expressions they were making. When we first walked in the waitress asked the person in front of us if how many people they're were in the group. The lady said she was here to pick up an order, she directed her where to go and then walked away, completely ignored us. Five minutes later another hostess asked how many people were in our party, i said two. She directed me to take either of the two tables that were available. We sat ourselves and then she came over to tell us we needed to be restated because they were saving that booth for someone else. Okaaay. The next waitress taking our order seemed like we were bothering her for her taking our order,and to top it off, after our tasteless ceviche was served, we were never checked on for anything else. This place loves tomato. my michelada was overwhelming with tomato juice couldn't even taste the beer it was hard to drink. My shrimp cocktail tasted like it had wayyy too much ketchup. i usually like it when i can add my own to my liking but it was just overwhelming no matter how much tapatío i added. The parking can be difficult to find but my recommendation is parking on the street in front of the houses next to Alvaro's restaurant and cross the Main Street to get here! I have been here before but this time it wasn't what I expected. The chicken taco was not edible! It had a bad smell to it and my son was gagging when he took first bite. My husband then ate some and couldn't even swallow it! The carne Asada torta had a lot of fat on it. They slap a piece of meat on it and isn't bite size. Suggestion is to shred the carne Asada. I will stick to the shrimp plates for safer route next time. That's the only thing they make good. read more

I really wanted to give this place 5 stars. But we went there twice this weekend and both times the food was excellent. I think their Camarones ala Diabla were BOMB.com. My wife had tostadas de ceviche pescado and a tostada de Camarones. Both were awesome and I think it was the closest thing I've had to her moms ceviche. The only reason why this place is getting 4 stars and not 5 is their boxed rice pilaf they serve. I am more of a beans and rice kind of guy and why serve some of the best homemade tortilla chips in the area if you can't dip them in your beans and rice. I had the Langosta al Mojo de Aji couple days later, and it was ok. I would personally stick to the shrimp next time both for price and flavor. Great food, service could definitely use a tweak or two, and they need fountain drinks. read more

We come here all the time. The shrimp cocktails are my favorite as well as the camarones a la diabla. From the outside it looks bad, but they have great service, it's clean and the food is always fresh. The mexican seafood is authentic and prices are affordable. My husband loves the campechana and the ceviche tostada, I have not had a dish here that I did not likke for the exception of the carne asada tacos, but I did not expect them to be good since this is a seafood place. This has always been one of my family's favorite Mexican restaurants. For as long as I could remember. They said the meals reminded them of home. Having been to Mexico a few times and eating seafoid both there and here, Clemente's is as close to authentic Mariscos as you will get. The food is fresh and delicious and the portions are very well served. I recommend the jaiba and shrimp tostada, the ceviche tostada, and the Shrimp cocktail. I've been to this little spot twice now and I really enjoyed it. The first time I had a tostada de ceviche. It was a very generous amount and very tasty. The second time I has a medium cóctel de camarón. It was good but not my favorite. Its consistency was thicker than I was expecting. It had a lot of ketchup or tomato sauce. It didn't have cucumber which I was expecting as well. Nonetheless the shrimp in it was big and enough to fill me up. The totopos and salsa though are really delicious. Can't get enough of those. The service is also very nice and attentive. Overall I recommend this place. I plan to go back and try some of their heavier plates. read more
