This is my first time here. All the reviews were good for the most part. So we went! But everything we got was mediocre at best! I dont know if we just got the wrong items but it really wasnt that good. Nothing went wrong or nothing bad happened but cant say if come here again. Ive been coming here for years, most of the food is good i havent trued the whole menu so i cant say it all good.

Shrimp had no flavor can tell frozen precooked, oysters smelled old and were dry.This place is over priced!!!

Handmade tortillas, which means the best tortilla chips, and the shrimp tacos live up to the billing. Incredibly good Mexican seafood without a visa. The wife had the Shrimp plate in garlic butter and absolutely devoured it. Good prices, great food; gotta check this place out. read more

I recommend the shrimp cocktail with a Negra Modelo michelada (yum!) perfect for the this Summer weather. My daughter ordered the breaded shrimp and it was pretty good. Parking is a hassle but the food is worth it. read more

Went here today for a quick lunch and had some amazing fish tacos!! I tired the combo two fish tacos with rice and salad...very tasty but wanted beans instead of rice and they do not have beans on the menu...that's why they received a 4 out of 5 stars. very good sea food. I like the shrimp coctail and a michelada to go with it. The place is a bit small so it gets crowded on weekends. and sometimes not enough parking. But other than that they have good service and food is served at an average time, less than 10-15 min after ordering. and they give you nachos/chips and salsa as an appetizer. read more

I took my family here after passing by and always wondering what was inside. A small but very family like, homey atmosphere. Everybody had a smile on their face. Their menu is very reasonable and they have a seafood soup that is absolutely delicious. I'd definitely come back again. read more

The best shrimp cocktail ever. I'm not much for seafood, but when my friend brought this cocktail to my party IT WAS THE BEST I ever tasted. The juice is SOO tasty. My friend said they put Fanta orange soda in it. Now I go and get it every now and then. Can't say anything about the rest of their dishes, but looking at them as they brought them out to the tables, they looked like real Mexican food. From the extremely long wait to get our food (other people were served that got there after us) to the BEYOND rude waitress we were unfortunate to get, I will never be coming back here. This waitress had so much attitude over nothing (I've seriously never experienced anything like it). Oh and our orders didn't come out at the same time, now a few minutes or so is normal but no I'm talking one person was half way done when the last plate was served (there was only 3 of us). Heads up to management: great customer service is key to customer retention! Seems simple enough right? I was really hoping to like this place. Good reviews and I LOVE mariscos. First off the chips and salsa, chips were stail and salsa was sweet. Very "ketchupy" I ordered a shrimp cocktail, which is my usual fav at most marisco spots. The cocktail was sweet as well! My bf tasted it and also thought it was sweet. We kept adding hot sauce and lemon but sweet flavor was still there. The juice was not very good.Shrimp was also not cleaned and looked and tasted old. We also ordered a fish filet w rice which had no flavor and fish was over cooked. In addition to stail, unflavorful food, the ambience also lacked. They were playing a tv soap opera so loud you could not even talk. No music, no sports a soap opera. The waitresses were so distracted that our service was also not the best. Will def not be coming back. With sooo many other marisco spots in the area i am surprised this place stays in business. Food, service and ambience was all poor. read more

Best seafood restaurant in OC. I wish it was closer to my house. Best "vuelve a la vida" ever. Best restaurant to cure a hangover. Their homemade shrimp clamato with a cold beer is the best cure. They charge for the chips and pico de gallo, but is always fresh and made to order. read more

Great spot for Mexican seafood. We had the medium combo seafood cocktail, a couple giant shrimp tostadas and sum ceviche. The cocktail was fresh and plentiful with seafood. Shrimp, scallops, octopus and other goodies were abundant and very fresh tasting. The shrimp tostadas were piled high with a ton of shrimp all lined up with avovado. The ceviche was fresh but not my favorite. It was minced and I like mine more chunky. All around very good and fresh. Reminds me of the Marisco spots in LA I use to hit as a kid. Have been going to this restaurant but the Santa Ana location since I've been about 10 years old. Heart-broken when I found out they closed the Santa Ana location ! Drives a little far for me but totally worth it ! Amazing chips & salsa ! Have been coming to Clementes for so long for one thing which is the Mojarra frita ! In my opinion, hands down BEST Mojarra I've ever had ! Clementes has a variety of food for everyone ! But must try the Mojarra frita! A little lemon & salt and you're set ! Making my mouth water just thinking about it ! So do yourself a favor and try it out ! Won't disappoint ! read more

Food is ok...but not as tasty as the Original Clemente's in Santa Ana. I've known the Owner there for over 20 years and no one makes the tasty seafood recipe as good as him...I think I'll stick to Clemente's on Main and Edinger...because it' the Original!! So I was craving shrimp and googled good shrimp in Fullerton, CA. This Mariscos Clemente came up and was reading Good and Bad reviews. So i said what they hay Ill give it a shot. So look at menu and see they offer a lunch special so i decide to get the shrimp in hot sauce. Not bad for 6.99 right. It came with rice, shrimp and a salad. I get it and tried it and was VERY DIAPPOINTED. The rice isnt even mexican rice, looked and tasted like rice a roonie or some shit. And then the shrimp was disgusting. The only thing i liked was the salad. Now im sick to my stomach. I feel like vomiting. So please pay attention to the bad reviews. Its not good here. =( read more
