Tried their dim sum. Actually pretty solid. Pricing is reasonable. Items were nice and plump. My group were pretty satisfied overall. Can definitely recommend.

Came here for wagyu all-you-can-eat hotpot! The staff was super friendly and attentive -- kept on checking on us to see if we needed more food/wagyu. Loved the wide selection of food. Too bad wagyu was not so extraordinary when it came to hotpot, but we certainly enjoyed the variety of food and dessert! Parking was easy as it was in Crystal Mall so there was a parking garage. Our table for two was spacious. I liked the wall for taking photos.

Very spacious inside the restaurant not what I was expecting. Service is good and they tend to leave you alone, so you have to wave them down. There is an ipad to place your order and it's nicely presented. I just wanted to see pictures of everything since not being familiar with some food items. Forgot to check out their vegetarian options, they do have a few items on the menu. Overall, the food is good and experience is great.

All I can eat individual hot pots at marble house eatery located on the second floor at crystal mall. I enjoyed the choice of ordering items per piece rather than by plate so I can try a variety of dishes and only order more of what I really liked. On the table: Chinese Herbal soup base (Free Range Chicken included) Sliced boneless short rib Fatty beef roll Beef tripe Cooked pork blood cube Prawn Salmon fish head Taro Pumpkin Black fungus Tofu Baby corn Mushroom Deep fried fish skin Deep fried bun Stewed beef in marinade Vanilla sesame swirl ice cream cone Candy floss

Congee and beef rice roll set $13.50

I tried the congee and dimsum special. For $13.50 you get a choice of congee and selected dimsum. I chose the preserved egg and meat congee with beef rice roll. The congee was made fresh on the spot in the station set up in the middle of the restaurant. It was smooth and tasty. The rice roll was not too bad though the skin was a bit thick. I think it will be tough once it's cold. I also ordered a roast duck rice box to go. It was a good deal at $9.99. Unfortunately the duck meat I got was mostly the bony pieces. And it was very fatty. I had to remove the skin and pan fry it to remove the fats. Very affordable place for the rice boxes as they are $9.99. To go only.

I've been to marble house for their AYCE hot pot after a long ski/snowboard day and remembered it being nothing memorable - and that was mutually agreed on by the other hungry-hippos in the group post-skiing. On a recent occasion, my family and I stumbled in front of marble house after groceries at the market to find out they now offer dimsum during the day. We're big fans of dimsum & congee! We loved the fact that congee was heated up in a clay pot in front of you and served piping hot (big win in the eyes of Asian parents), they also make Cheung fun aka rice rolls fresh to order. They were silky smooth and 100p slurp worth. The classic dimsum items were on par with the rest of town. I live quite far from crystal mall but I can see the family trekking on occasion for this.

Located on the upper level of Crystal Mall in Burnaby - This place has a quite a bit to offer - Dimsum by day w/BBQ butcher meat options / but the highlight is likely to be the AYCE Hot Pot for the rest of the day - https://www.instagram.com/vanleo.eatsfood1015/ This place gets super busy during dinner hours - so I do highly suggest to try and make a reservation - at least that will shrink your wait time ! - The staff are mostly all super attentive the few times I've went - very easy to get refills / ask questions etc. The manager seems to be very customer service focused - however I have heard stories about his moral ethics - but I am not in a place to judge that - Food was quite delicious - didn't have any freshness issues - there plum juice is so delicious ! I wish I knew how they made it - I would be making pitchers of it at home just to drink ! Dish presentations mostly come out pretty stunning - I find the balls kind of small though - They offer free deserts after your hot pot meal - I personally like the Black sesame ice cream cone - my partner is a kid at heart and loves the cotton candy - Personally I find the price a little steep though - cause after tax and tips it comes to $50 per head - I guess in the market these days it becomes pretty standard but still just feel like it's quite high ! Anyways definitely would recommend for a great hot pot night out :)

All the Marbles... My friends and I used to frequent all the AYCE places by the Top Gun restaurant group, but they all seemed to be gone during the pandemic?!? Now this place replaced one of its AYCE spot. Anyways, passed by this place pretty often when mopping around Crystal Mall, but decided to come here for the first time. As far as I remember, there's only some minor changes done here since the previous restaurant. Anyways, here's what I ordered; 1. AYCE hot pot. $37.95/ person. I ordered each plate of the different beef slices but somehow they magically appeared even before I sent in my order and certain dishes randomly brought out without me ordering them. The meats were still pretty frozen up in rolls besides the first plate of beef. The veggies and other food were okay. The desserts such as the fresh tofu puddings and cotton candy were legit! 2. Double soup base (hot spicy & golden soup). The golden soup had a little fresh abalone in it lol. Overall pretty basic soup base and taste wise. 3. Pork tripe with white pepper soup base. Light peppery pork bone taste. 4. Deep fried salt and pepper tofu. Cubed it a bit too small. 5. All available sauce and condiments. $5.99/ table. 6. All you can drink pop/ lemon iced tea. $3 7. Side of condensed milk for deep fried buns. $0.75 This place was like your typical AYCE hot pot place like before the pandemic, a very casual atmosphere and vibe. The service was decently okay, all the staffs were always moving and attentive especially in clearing away the empty dishes and refilling the soup bases. As for the food, they were overall pretty basic and average. I would say it's about $67/ person with all the extras, tax and tips in. With this price tag, it might struggle a bit because across the street, Cho Cho hot pot by Dolar Shop, is more higher end AYCE hotpot with better options for about the same price . Nevertheless, I finally realized I am not 19 years old anymore and I have a hard time making the AYCE worthwhile, therefore, I wouldn't put my marbles into the AYCE.

Satisfying hotpot We came here with a few friends for a birthday celebration. It's one of the few all you can eat hotpot place that accommodates over 8 people. Nothing is cheap these days. And even tho it's advertised as $38 ayce, after the soup base, and a few minor add on, tax and tips, it easily becomes a $55+ meal. Meat selections are good, but lacking a few items like oysters. And there are many that has an add on price. This place go by individual pot, which is nice. I'd say it's more hygienic and convenient, especially in large groups. One thing that really stood out for me with the restaurant is the selection of desserts. There's a variety of pudding, ice cream and even cotton candy. Very few restaurants are considered cheap these days, but at least it's very satisfying if a meal. And service was exceptional, especially considering how hectic these ayce hotpot place can get. Lychee osmanthus jelly

A pretty lively restaurant for weekend lunch. We had the durian mochi as appertizer and dessert... and the 1/4 roast duck & rice for lunch. The duck was good, and the mochi was excellent. As a bonus, we get the lychee osmanthus jelly as extra free dessert because our meal was over $50. Overall, very good experience. Highly recommended.

We tried to go to other places around town for dim sum but others were too busy or only took reservations. I'm so glad we ended up here. Portions are huge so be careful when ordering! We ordered a lot and ended up having plenty to take home after. 12/10 recommend this place for delicious dim sum!

With about 9-10 people per table, we were treated to what felt like at least ten courses. There wasn't much time for photos, as conversation and catching up naturally took precedence. The standouts were the seafood fried rice and the green onion lobster and crab stir-fry -- rich, comforting, and generously flavoured, the kind of dishes that quietly anchor a long meal. It was a busy holiday weekend, and the restaurant was packed. Our original 7:00 p.m. reservation was delayed until 8:00 p.m., leaving many of us waiting outside in the cold. Once seated, the pacing felt off, with dishes arriving out of sequence, which gave the meal an oddly disjointed rhythm. A small apology or update from the staff would have been welcome, but none came. Overall, the food was very tasty, and I would consider returning -- particularly to explore more of their seafood offerings.

Shanghai Dim Sum House is a great little spot tucked away on the third floor of Crystal Mall's food…read morecourt. The food court itself is full of different Asian cuisines, and this stall definitely stands out. They offer a wide variety of Shanghai-style dim sum, including dumplings, wontons, rice cake, several meat noodle soups, and some combo rice dishes. I ordered the Sichuan Style beef noodle soup, and it was surprisingly delicious and spicy -- the broth was flavorful, and the beef was incredibly tender. Even though it's just a small food court stall, the quality of the dishes makes it worth a visit. If you're already exploring Crystal Mall or craving some quick and tasty Shanghai-style snacks, this place is a solid choice.

Big size and very delicious. I'd ask for extra dipping sauce (or the chill oil if you like spicy). These can get messy if you don't be careful. Take a small bite of the skin first and sip the soup inside before diving in. The soup is very hot, so I usually pour it onto a spoon and drink it from there. #13 is translated as "Steamed Mini Pork Buns" in English and Shanghai Xiaolongbao in Chinese on the menu, which is misleading. When I ordered it last time, it turned out to be the same buns as #14, just steamed instead of deep-fried. They're large and not mini at all like traditional XLB. Personally, I didn't enjoy them as much as the fried version and wouldn't order them again. They tend to stick together and aren't very to-go friendly. #14 is the star here, and it's absolutely worth coming back for.
