They also make their own rice rolls, which they really live up to the name of the business. I remember coming when they first opened, and speaking to the boss who told me due to the demographics of the area (a more elderly crowd) their flavours are more clean (you can also interpret this as bland if you need to always add more sauce) and I always love places like this, cause you will never have a complaint something is too salty here. Also they are very knowledgeable about what they serve, as my wife was with me and wanted things that had no MSG, and the boss, who served us, advised things like the sauces had a little, and because of what we wanted, all of that was put on the side. On this rainy day we were here, we ordered a plain congee, and a corn rice roll with the sauce (which had some MSG) was served on the side. We were very happy, full and warm from our breakfast. We arrived around 10:30 a.m., and within 30 minutes the restaurant was completely packed, so getting there early is definitely a good idea.. What impressed me most was the creativity of the menu. One thing I always pay attention to is the wrapper-to-filling ratio in dumplings, and they absolutely nailed it here. The wrappers were thin enough to let the fillings shine, yet sturdy enough to hold everything together without falling apart.
