Our light lunch: Smoked Albacore Dip w Rice Crackers + Biscuits w Butter & Ham + Arugula salad
Larry C.

Wow, an amazing lunch at an amazing spot! this hit all the notes for me, easily 4+ stars We had a light lunch: the smoked tuna dip with these giant crisps somewhere between papadum and shrimp chips, also the famous biscuits -these are so fluffy and flaky, and served warm out of the oven, and third an arugula salad that was great, but compared to the other dishes -well it's hard to be a salad, amiright? I also had a phony Negroni that was pretty darn tasty, especially dressed up with lemon carve, a sprig of rosemary, and a big block of ice. The setting is gorgeous, an open indoor-outdoor space inside the Hauser & Wirth gallery, makes you want to just sit and relax all day. And the staff was super friendly.

A must stop whenever I find myself near DTLA. The outdoor dining space on a spring or summer afternoon is the best. From service to the dishes coming from the kitchen this is a great spot. Their cocktail program goes with the season, the wine list is well curated (just like a great museum with out of touch master pieces but approachable alternatives). Their cocktail program menu follows the season and offers just the right amount of options. On my last visit the blistered snap peas were so sweet and the char just took them to another level and the crunch of the quinoa was over the top. I am a fan of a long lunch and this is the spot for that.

If you're looking for the perfect Sunday plan in LA, start with brunch at Manuela and then wander through the galleries at Hauser & Wirth. They're in the same space, and it makes for such a great experience. This was my second time at Manuela, and it was even better than the first time. The brunch menu is excellent, the food is delicious, and the service is on point. The ambiance is one of my favorite parts... lush greenery everywhere with a relaxed indoor-outdoor feel that's very LA but still feels unique. We ordered the eggs Benedict (served in a brioche bread bowl) and the French toast... both so so good. Highly recommend. I'll definitely back.

Delicious! One of my favorite spots in arts district. Love the simple menu, the bites and ambience. Servers were incredibly nice and accommodating to my party as I came in for my graduation celebration and were able to accommodate for last minute extra guests.

We had a reservation for brunch and was seated almost immediately after checking in. Thankfully we did because the wait seemed long for those without reservations. Our server was very attentive and through in explaining the menu and providing recommendations since it's our first time here. Beignet - excellent! Super fluffy, slight chewy (tasted like mochi flour?) and not too sweet. Must order. Shrimp & grits - well balanced and good sized portion. It has a little bit of heat but overall very tasty dish. Venison burger - good burger, well balanced flavor overall, but it didn't really "wow". That's not to say it wasn't good. It's definitely still a very solid burger. Vibes are . We also walked around the art gallery after our meal. Parking can be challenging but there's valet.

It's odd how sometimes Yelp sometimes show pics from previous visits to a restaurant on a review, then in cases like this one, only showing my most recent visit. Whatever the case - it's time to finally share my thoughts ... This most recent visit was during DineLA 2/2026. Dropped in on a weeknight and enjoyed it just like I have before. This was my third time. Parking was the same. Street parking or nearby garages. This time parked in the garage behind the brewery. $25. No validation. Other lots and street parking in the area too. Service was as expected. Excellent. Attentive. Friendly. Efficient. Clearing tables (was seated at a small table and space was an issue with all the plates) and refills. A genuine nice - not something feigned making you feel like the server is working the gratuity. Food was good - see pics. Went with the DineLA menu (Venison) and added a few menu items. And drinks. Enjoyed the ingredients and how everything blended together. It may not be for all, but the dishes that this team offers works for me. By the way, there's a bar - which I didn't know is open before dinner. Had a few cocktails before dinner until my table was ready. On another note, there's both indoor and outdoor seating. I've not sat outdoors yet but next time will try. The indoors area is cool because you can see all the action but it can get a little loud. Yes, you read that right. There will be a next time.

By far one of my favorite restaurants I've tried this year. Such a cute, chic, aesthetically pleasing spot. We came for dinner not expecting much, but I am now emotionally attached to those biscuits. They were AMAZING. The cocktail list had a great sense of humor, and the wine list was extremely long -- I couldn't decide. I went with the Spritz'er I Barely Know Her... she was cute, refreshing, and definitely a must-sip. What we ordered: Miyagi Oysters -- 10/10 Burrata Persian Cucumber Salad -- 10/10 Creamed Biscuits -- 1000/1000 (good lord... incredible) Venison Burger -- 10/10 Butterball Potatoes -- 8/10 Pork Chop -- 8/10 Heirloom Half Chicken -- 8/10 For three people, we shared everything and still had leftovers. Everything was delicious. I'm already planning my return for brunch!

Wow! I must go again cause we had a lovely dinner last night! I was looking for a place that was dog friendly and had some vegetarian options for my friend and this checked all the boxes. We didn't end up brining her little pup, but the ambience was so inviting, luxurious, and natural. Surrounded by greenery and well kept patio furniture, stylistic and industrial fixtures, it was a space you wanted to stay in. The food was superb as well. Biscuits and butter were a HIT and recommended by our server. The burrata salad, so fresh and tasty as a starter. And the artichoke and Lima bean dish was delicious, satisfying, while light. And one of our favorite parts, the SPRITZ HER I barely know her drink! The St Germaine spritz they make here is worth coming back ALONE! Our service was excellent from water refilling, recommendations, to our hostess greeting us quickly, 10/10 and will be back to try more dishes!

Tried Manuela in the Arts District for the first time for dinner, and wow--this might have been one of the best meals we've had in a long time. We brought the family here to celebrate a birthday and were so glad we did. The restaurant has a uniquely eclectic and fun atmosphere, and the service was excellent from start to finish. Every dish we ordered was packed with amazing flavor, and honestly we loved everything we tried. Hats off to the chefs and the whole team--this place really impressed us. We'll definitely be back!

I had the opportunity to dine here for brunch. It's such a beautiful restaurant inside of Hauser & Wirth. We ordered a handful of bites to try: - pear arugula salad - venison burger - albacore dip - shrimp and grits - steak and eggs - cornbread Full transparency, my favorite item from our brunch was the cornbread. I enjoyed the shrimp and grits as well, but I will say I found the portions overall to be a bit small. The place though is beautiful. Definitely a place to impress a crowd if that's what you're going for. I'm curious to know if the dinner menu is totally different.

Brandon Y.

7/10 Got the smoked albacore dip, cream biscuits, and chilaquiles negro. Biscuits are a must if you go and everyones favorite by far. Dip was good and the presentation was really nice. I would not recommend the chilaquiles if I'm being honest. The mole sauce gets a little old/ tiring after a couple bites. Outdoor seating area is pretty and seeing all the birds fly is fun.

peads & Barnett Pork Chop, Spring Onion, Chili Vinegar, Mustard Oil

I celebrated my birthday here, we enjoyed every plate that was shared. The arugula salad with pear was super fresh and slightly sweet. The pork chops were cooked beautifully, tender and juicy with great seasoning. The halibut was flaky, moist, and really clean flavors that didn't feel heavy at all. We also loved the biscuit with butter and honey -- simple but very delicious , warm and comforting. Must Order! The smoked albacore dip with rice chips was addictive and packed with smoky flavor. Even the roasted cauliflower impressed us, was really tangy and perfectly caramelized and not just an afterthought veggie side. For dessert, we went all in. The blood orange sorbet was refreshing. That cake was unique, chocolatey, soft, and amazing with the top banana flavor and cold ice cream. Had an amazing time, definitely a spot I'd come back to.

Elizabeth P.

The service and the vibe are great. It's a versatile spot - a good spot for casual date night, a little dinner with colleagues, or a casual dinner with friends. However, I would knock points off for their food. I tried several dishes and wasn't very impressed. The tiger prawn dish was spicy but a bit mild in flavor and not very memorable. The duck dish was the same. The best thing about this place seems to be their biscuit tbh. So, a spot to go for some good drinks and apps but eh for dinner. If you're looking to "wow" someone with food I don't know that this is the spot.

Just a back story on that, I made a reservation for June 15 2025, I received an email from the floor manager telling me all reservations have been canceled due to an event. Mind you, I get this email on June 13th. I was annoyed because I had to scramble and find a restaurant that had availability. I'm sure they knew of this event a while ago. So that was annoying. In September of 2025, I reached out to the floor manager, Ani, and tried to make a reservation for September 14th. She informed me that they will be closed for an event. So I reached out to Ani one last time to get a reservation for my anniversary on April 21st. We finally got in! So with all of the back and forth with Ani, I kind of expected them to go above and beyond. But unfortunately, I felt we were treated not so great. When we arrived, we waited a good 10 mins until the hostess greeted us. The time we were there, no one acknowledged our presence. When she finally came, she did apologized and walked us over to a big table in the farthest corner in the restaurant. Now mind you, it was only 3 of us, and they tried to sit us at a table that can seat 6, in a corner. No no, I'm not sitting there. I've literally been trying to come here for the past 9months and it's my anniversary. So I asked to be sat at a smaller table in the middle of the restaurant. Now, I'm familiar on how the seating works as it really comes down to the amount of servers you have and the amount of tables are within their section. But again, the manager Ani, was fully aware of my reservation and I felt that she should've provided better hospitality for us. So, once we were seated, we waited awhile for our waiter. When he finally showed up, we placed our order. We had drinks, appetizers, and our main meal. The menu is on the smaller side, so I expected the food to be overly delicious. But it was just ok. It was good, but not mind blowing. After dinner, I asked the waiter if I can speak with Ani. She came and I reminded her who I was and the back and forth emails we've had since July 2025. She knew right away. I told her I was a bit disappointed that the hostess was trying to sit us in the far corner. All she said was "oh sorry about that". That was it, no complementary dessert, or anything. Like wow! We've been treated so much better at other restaurants. It was real disappointing. I would not recommend this spot nor would I come back. I suggest the managers do more hospitality trainings.

I arrived early for my reservation, but the counter was still occupied due to a kitchen delay, so I had to wait at the wine bar, which was crowded and loud as well. But throughout this process, the staff at check-in was nice. They gave me 1 update, said I would wait 25 minutes, and then took me to my seat 10 minutes later. Communication was decent, and they made me feel welcome. The apology came in the form of 1 free sparkling wine drink, which was nice. Food: Good but not excellent and on the pricier side. Ordered the Albacore, which is a must, and that tasted really great. Got a Carolina Gold Rice with seafood, which was good, more like risotto, but much more watery; the seafood was fresh. Wish this came out with my main course. For the main course, I got the trout. The fish was fresh. It took a while for the order to come out. The fish skin was mostly crunchy and tasty, which is nice, and it came mostly deboned. The big down for me was that it tasted ok and the fish was drenched in oil, way too much oil. Overall, it was good, but not all of the dishes were a hit, and considering the cost, this place will give me pause before coming back. Ambiance: Not sure I would take someone on a date here unless I've been out with them a few times already. The acoustics in the space are just echoey and on the loud side. I had to wear my AirPods the whole time with either noise cancellation or transparency. They should really dampen the noise in that dining hall more. Also, there are long family-style tables in about 3 rows. I don't know how I would feel about that overall, but that is just me. I prefer to have my own table with my group. Lastly, parking is either street or valet. I think there's a valet, but you can park around the neighborhood, just be prepared to hunt a bit for parking on busy nights.

Exceptional all around! Fernando's service was wonderful, he was delightful and knowledgeable and…read morerecommended the Wagyu pot pie and this might be THE best thing I've ever eaten. Paired with a plantain chutney and oxtail demiglaze, utter perfection. There are only a few made a night and we were lucky enough to try one and it was nothing short of divine! We also had the tempura Brussels sprouts and they were heavenly, perfectly light and crisp but the flavor was outstanding And we couldn't pass up the bread pudding for dessert, absolute 10/10, I could not recommend this restaurant more! Go immediately! Also, the interior design is stunning. Whoever designed this place is a genius

Our server Ahman was attentive had great personality, funny. "Strong and cute " LOL. The food was amazing we ordered a bunch of things. That knuckle sandwich was hitting hard. That steak and mashed potatoes was delicious. OMG and the ox tail grilled cheese hands down was Completing hard with that knuckle sandwich. The food was to die for , I can't say enough about the food. This restaurant EVERYTHING WAS SO DELECTABLE!!! There's not many restaurants that you can say everything was delicious but you can say it about Linden. The chef came out , the GM came Over. The customer service made you feel like you were a VIP customer. I definitely have to go back, like ASAP. I'm dreaming about this food. The experience was unforgettable and the type of experience that whoever trained those individuals at LINDEN in creating a customer experience need to train other restaurants. I will Definitely be back. Oh and not to mention after You eat they can take you next door through the back to go to DOT. It's a bar next door with drinks and music. It gets pretty packed in there at around 11. I can't say enough wonderful amazing things about this place. Will definitely be back for sure !!!! Will be making reservations again soon.

I've had Majordomo marked for years, and I honestly don't know why it took me so long to finally…read moremake it here. Now I understand why people keep coming back. One of the best meals I've had this year. Everything was a hit -- from the salad to the side dishes, the meat, and dessert. Nothing disappointed. The menu is definitely made for sharing, and every dish felt thoughtful, flavorful, and fun. My favorite was the fried pepper. I think I'll be dreaming about it, and I would come back just for that. We were definitely overloaded with meat, but in the best way. The decor and ambience are very chill -- lively, relaxed, and very LA without feeling pretentious. We came for my mommy friend's birthday, and it was perfect for a moms' night out, but the crowd also had that young, hip energy. It feels like a place that works for all ages. Service was very attentive and knowledgeable without hovering. Parking is right next door by the Electric Theater lot, about $15 with no validation, so carpooling is probably the move. Love it, love it, love it. Definitely coming back.

Came here for Mother's Day prefix. Made reservation since I've been wanting to check out this place…read moreand brought my mother and child. My reservation must've been towards end of brunch. Food wasn't good. Nothing stood out to me except for the salad. For starters we were suppose to have two different salads but without apologies a waitress simply brought out a small bowl of cucumber slices stating they ran out of the other salad. No comp or no discussion on an alternative where I was charged full prefix price. It was disappointing since I wanted to try their salads and that was the best part of their entire prefix and only dish we actually finished. For Steak and eggs entree, they never asked how I would've like the steak cooked and they brought it medium, which we did not touch since it was too bloody for my liking. The deserts were all underwhelming also including meringue, tart and chocolate mousse. I got sliders for my kid who loves a good cheese burger but she didn't eat it either. Also having fries with burgers would've been nice and I was surprised she got two small sliders with no fries. Usually sliders and chicken tenders are always served with fries. Esp for children. Service was okay initially but towards end I had to keep looking for waiter trying to ask for things since again end of day I felt workers were busy closing out and not as much attention was paid to guests still left. Ambiance was okay. It was farther than I thought near Chinatown than my usual west LA options. To me it's about experience, taste and quality time but given price point and culinary experience I had for Mother's Day prefix, I do not want to dine again at this restaurant.
