I agree with other reviewers that this place is pretty fantastic. Everything is made to order (excluding the desserts which are in a display case) so expect a brief wait. My favorite menu item so far is the Mediterranean salad with falafel-- the veggies are fresh and the falafel comes out nice and hot from the fryer! The beverage selection is limited. They have hot drinks, plus chilled bottles of water and cans of Coke/Diet Coke and a few other options. No fountain drinks. The only downside is that they accept cash only. They have an ATM, but it's always a pain when you unexpectedly can't use your debit/credit. read more

I was told by the young man behind the counter that this will be the best maneesh I will have in the state of Washington. That is one BOLD statement to make to an Arab girl. However, I like that confidence and although I have nothing to compare it to in Washington, I do have other states I can compare it to and I must say it's definitely up there with some of the best! It's a lighter version than what I'm use to, but that's not a bad thing! You can tell the Zaa'tar is fresh and the bread was not burnt. Ok, so this place blew me away and the reason why I am giving it 5 stars as opposed to 4 is because the falafels are AMAZING. I have eaten plenty of falafels and these are literally perfection. The size is perfect, they are not dry, and I don't know how they do it but it has the perfect crunch when you bite into them. I quickly gobbled up 3 out of 5 in my car before leaving the parking lot. No shame... I also ordered the chicken schwarma and it was ok. I really go crazy for garlic sauce and I kept wondering where the sauce was in my sandwich (wrap). I don't know if they forgot to put it in or if I am really just THAT crazy about garlic sauce but whatever the case, I was really full before getting halfway through everything. Went here for lunch with my colleague - just visiting. Damn was it good. I got a lamb wrap and my colleague got the chicken shawarma wrap. We haven't had such a good Mediterranean food in a while. They were quick and easy to order. Plus, their price isn't so bad. Only thing is they are a little small inside, so if it gets busy, you won't be able to find a seat. They have some of everything, but my favorite part is they have Dookh, which is a Persian yogurt drink. It's a little sour and I'm glad they offer it too. It's kind of hard to get. It's been a while since I've eaten here, stopped in for a quick very early dinner around 4pm. Ordered falafel appetizer - came in a plastic clamshell with a bed of lettuce and a small side of hummus. They were freshly fried, had a slight tang to them, good. The other item was the lamb flatbread - the bread was light as a feather and wonderful, especially with the hummus. I was not expecting the lamb topping to be moist (I hate that word) and sour. I asked the staff if this was normal and he said yes, it is the seasoning. Overall good, but the sour lamb flatbread was not my thing, and I prefer a slightly different taste to my falafel, not sure if I'll return for more. read more

Thanks to Yelp for helping us "stumble" across this place. I can't think of a single item that wasn't amazing. The baba ganoush has a perfect smoky flavor, without having the more typical gelantinous texture that I'm not fond of. The falafel: perfectly cooked. I love the facelift done to the place. Food is consistently good. These are, to put them crudely, Middle Eastern flat breads of at least 8 to 10 varieties. The breads are made from scratch on site, so it's very flavorful and fresh, and cheap. Take time to browse downstairs in the Goodies grocery store, also recently redone. Parking out back. It's difficult to get in on Lake City given it's like, a major highway. But worth the risk. Or better yet, walk there. read more

It was loaded with cheese, pepper and carmelized onions and is as delicious as it looks in the pictures. Lamb Sharwarma Sandwich and Side Mediterranean Salad rounded out this gargantuan meal for under $20. Everything I have tried has been excellent and is full of Mediterranean flavors-garlic, feta cheese, kalamata olives, onions, tomatoes, delicious mint- Everything beautifully fresh. I live in Lake City and pop in here and again to get some healthy middle eastern food. The food is always deliciously spiced. I recommend the Veggie Plate even if you're not a Veggie. Last time I was there I accidentally spilled the remains of my plate on the floor when I took it over to get a to-go box. They were there in 30 seconds to clean up the mess I made and although I felt horrible about causing such a mess on the floor, they were so kind to me about it and even made me a new plate of my leftovers to take home! Everything was absolutely on point, from the incredibly flavorful lamb to the baba ghanouj to the entire case of baklava my wife carried out. The pita is freshly made when you order--- mine puffed out steam when I tore into it. My wife just told me we're going back today when we're in the area, and we just went yesterday! Yum! I was so excited to discover this gem in the LCW neighborhood. It's easy to miss, and I typically have to park a bit down the street and walk to it since parking along LCW is usually taken. But, it's so worth it. The food is delicious and priced right! The flatbread with zataar and cheese is incredible, and the falafel plate comes with a nice selection of vegetarian goodies. There's also free tea! The staff are always friendly, and near closing time it gets busy with lots of folks getting takeout, so plan ahead if you go later in the day. We always eat there because the food is made to order and tastes so good when it's fresh. Seating is limited because it's not a large space, but it's cozy and we've never had to wait for a place to sit. This place is part of our regular rotation when we're craving Mediterranean food! read more

A little out of the way, but well worth it for some delicious and very reasonably priced Middle Eastern food. Street parking was easy on the side streets, but may be difficult if you insist on trying to find something on the main road. Once you get inside, the menu is pretty self explanatory, and you order and pay at the register. My boyfriend and I chose to share the baba ghanouj, sujuk flatbread, and lamb flatbread. We also grabbed a yogurt drink from the fridge to try. The food came out pretty quickly and we ate it there. The baba ghanouj tasted less eggplant-y than I expected and was more like an earthy hummus. It did come with pita bread. My boyfriend liked it a lot. My personal favorite thing we tried was the sujuk flatbread which had spicy beef sausage with garlic aioli. The flavor combination was excellent. I had only recently tried plain sujuk for the first time and thought it was fine, but on this flatbread with the aioli, it was mouthwatering. The other flatbread had spicy ground lamb with green peppers. This was also good, but didn't pack the same "wow" factor for me as the other one. It ended up being so much food we took home more than half a flatbread. The yogurt drink was almost a little salty; my boyfriend said he thought it tasted like cottage cheese. It went well with the spicy food. Water is available for you to serve yourself, and after we finished eating, we bused our table. Happy to do so to help keep costs down! Bathroom was clean, but note that there is no changing table. Both my boyfriend and I agreed that we'd love to come back to try more of their menu. read more

We came here for takeout after receiving recommendations from a few friends. We ordered the veggie platter and a cheesy flatbread, and it was brought over to us pretty quickly. Unfortunately we didn't think to check our order before leaving, and by the time we got over to the brewery we were going to eat at, we realized we had received a meat platter dish and a different flatbread. We called and requested that they re-make our food for us, they said they were closing in about 10 minutes, but would remake the order and also said that we could keep the incorrect order as well. I drove over within five minutes and the food was already hot and waiting to go. Once we got our correct order, we dug in and the food was absolutely delicious. I have to caveat this review by saying that I ate food catered from Man'oushe, but boy was it bonkers! We started with the Zaatar and Cheese mana'eesh. The edges of the flatbread were crispy, the zaatar was strong and fragrant - my only criticism is I wish the cheese reached all the way to the edges of the flatbread. The baba ghanouj was perhaps the best I've ever had. It had a fantastic texture and had more chunks of eggplant versus some baba ghanouj which is pulverized until it's a wet paste. This baba ghanouj I put on EVERYTHING - it was that good. Next was the skewers. We had Chicken and Gyro skewers which were very juicy and tender and a good portion as well. The tzatziki sauce had a great balance of yogurt and herbs (more herbs that I normally taste with tzatziki, which I loved) and there was also a green sauce that was honestly out of this world that unfortunately I could not remember - I put that sauce on everything. I also had a few veggie skewers - my criticism here was that the eggplant could have used some more time as it was still bitter on each skewer I had. Delicious. I had the lamb plate and it was absolute perfection. Quality ingredients, interesting combinations, and also the recognizable comfort of this cuisine. The plate had lamb squares (not gyro lamb!), lots of hummus, perfectly cooked, fragrant rice, and tasty veggies with the right amount of red onion. My husband got the lamb flatbread. While it was tasty, it also ended up being a little one-note. The only ingredients were lamb and bread (and maybe if you count the lemon you were given to squeeze on top). Wow. The flat breads: The zatar is an amazing blend of spices that are almost familiar, with thyme, salt, and lemon, but blended in a way unique to me! The roasted seseme seeds offer a great counterpoint to the chewy flatbread. The labne with honey is stupid delicious. Sweet, tart, and chewy, its great. Do yourself a favor and add one to your order. The Maneesh breads here are the stars of the show here. There are other things on the menu, and I'd like to try more of them, but if you're not ordering Maneesh with something on it, you're missing the point. Breads are served like mini-pizzas but with a thin, light, and delicious crust and interesting toppings. They aren't huge, but they're filling for a single-person. I'd recommend getting a couple (few?) and sharing around slices with your dinner-mates to get a good variety. Restaurant is clean and comfortable for dining, with parking easily accessible via the driveway just on the north-side of the building. Cash-only is a bit of a hindrance, but they do have an ATM machine inside the restaurant, so not too difficult. Will definitely be back to try more. read more
