Not a place you would go for ambience. But I have been here a few times, and never disappointed. The Chicken Shawarma, Bakhlava, Pita Bread, and specially Greek Fries under the name Sababa Fries is really good. I have had better Bakhlava but I wouldn't compare it. Service is reasonably fast. Not super quick but it won't make you irritated.

Inside is clean and brightly lit.

My hubs and I were shopping at Costco during the dinner hour on a Tuesday and were getting quite hungry. So after we loaded our groceries in our car trunk, we went to Gyro Sababa for dinner around 6:45pm. The place was clean and brightly lit. It wasn't busy at all when we arrived. We ordered two Shawarma King wraps (one chicken, one with beef and lamb which is gyro meat) = $13.55 each. The young cook took time and care making the wraps. They came to us piping hot! They were big (see the photo) and we both said we'd probably have to take some home. Then we promptly demolished both of them in record time. "I can't believe I ate the whole thing!" That's what my hubs said after he finished. Not kidding. I was thinking the same thing! Both wraps came with just the right amount of lettuce, cucumber, tomato, cabbage, pickles, and tahini. We skipped the garlic sauce and fished out the onions (alliums don't agree with us). Everything in our wraps was savory and balanced. It was absolutely delicious and we complimented the young cook on our way out. This place is great and we look forward to coming back and trying more of their dishes!

Highly recommend coming here. Clean and great service. We usually order to-go and they make everything fresh. Highly recommend the gyro plate and the gyro pita! Can't go wrong with either.

The food is delicious.....I ordered gyro fries with lamb meat on top.... It's the best Mediterranean restaurant I've been to in shoreline..

This was our first visit at their new location in Shoreline. I got my usual gyro pita with lamb and beef and MC got her usual gyro fries with lamb and beef. Both were freshly made - mine included a warm pita with grilled gyro meat and crisp veggies. Fries were nice and crispy with garlic sauce and a sprinkle of feta. Same friendly service and delicious food as the Northgate location, but closer to home. We'll be back!

The second location of Gyro Sababa opened sometime Nov 2024. It is situated between Bag O Crab and Jersey Mike's, near Home Depot (same Aurora Village complex as Costco & Costco fuel station in Shoreline). I enjoyed dining at their other location near Seattle's Northgate area. I'm glad to see their second location here with the same welcoming staff and fresh, tasty menu items. I stopped in for takeout (12/7/24). My gyros was chockful with fresh vegies (lettuce, cabbage, tomatoes, cucumbers, red onion, and green peppers), lamb/beef gyro meat, and tzazaki sauce. All encased in a fresh warm pita. Spot-on delicious! An order of Sababa Fries was well received by The Homie. Fresh fries topped with homemade garlic sauce, feta cheese crumbles, and spices. Next time he plans to try the Gyro Fries after he sampled the lamb/beef gyro meat. Menu items are available a la carte, by plate with salad & pita, or combo with fries & soda. There's also a well stocked refrigerated case with assorted beverages. My order was nicely bagged and included napkins and fork, which was greatly appreciated. Happy to see another Mediterranean spot in Shoreline!

Sababa Gyro might be a casual suburban strip mall restaurant, but their take on Mediterranean eats (with a Greek and Middle Eastern spin) and their service were a cut above! My pick from the menu y was the Mazzat Veggie Plate, which came with a fresh, crunchy Greek salad (chopped romaine, cucumbers, red cabbage, red onions, bell peppers, crumbled feta), creamy hummus, chunky baba ghanoush, three oval-shaped falafels, three dolmas, and three fried cauliflower florets. Every component of this dish was spot on in flavor, but my favorites were the crunchy falafels, the hummus, the fried cauliflower, and the baba ghanoush, all of which went nicely with the side of soft, toasted Greek-style pita bread. On top of the excellent food, the service was super friendly and hospitable, and everything came at a good value too!

Looks like this new gyro spot just opened next to the Costco. Great food and even better service. We loved the shawarma plate, but the pistachio baklava was an unexpected favorite of the meal

Can I order an iced tiramisu latte with al--" and was immediately cut off with, "K, size?" I started again and said I wanted the drink with almond milk in a 16 oz size, and she interrupted me a second time to ask, "What size?" It felt like she wasn't listening to me to all. What stood out even more was that customers who came in after me were greeted with a much friendlier and more upbeat attitude. The difference in treatment was noticeable. When she brought my drink, I said, "Thank you," and received a simple "Mm yeah" in response. Combined with the rest of the interaction, it came across as rude and dismissive. I've had positive experiences at this location before, which is why this interaction was so surprising. I hope management addresses customer service expectations and ensures all guests are treated with the same level of courtesy and respect. One thing that also stood out to me was the apparent lack of diversity among the staff. While I can't speak to the company's hiring practices, it was noticeable compared to many other businesses in the area. Combined with the way I felt treated during my visit, it left me with concerns about the overall culture and customer experience at this location.

We visited specifically to order a sweet corn latte, a drink which we've never had before and were interested in trying. Sweet Corn Latte, Iced 20oz ($7) - Surprisingly sweetness adjustments are allowed on this drink. The drink itself has a nice mellow corn aroma and a balanced milky flavor. It isn't too sweet. There's some fresh corn mixed in that's not that sweet compared to most canned sweet corn. There's stabilized whipped cream sweet on top studded with corn and then sprinkled with cocoa powder for some color. We asked to upgrade to 20oz but didn't get charged any more. Not sure how that works! (4/5) The drink probably has better presentation if ordered for dine-in rather than to-go given that the cap they give crushes the whipped cream. Photos from other Yelpers indicate that they have domed lids but for some reason they gave us a flat lid. K Cafe Dabang serves some pretty tasty drinks. We shop at the H-Mart around once a month, so it makes sense to return to try some more sweets. Bathrooms: Two individual rooms, one for men, one for women.

I'm a creature of habit and often stuck to the other side of the complex. I did not realize that One Bite Cafe took over the former Great Harvest Bread. I had checked out One Bite Cafe before in Seattle's Roosevelt neighborhood out of curiosity regarding croffles, but it didn't not leave a lasting impression at the time (open since 2019, with that visit in July 2022). However, when The College Friend set up a meet up at the Lake Forest Park site yesterday (open since May 2022, this visit on 4/9/26). There is an interior entry from the two level retail area and an exterior entry adjacent to the big shared parking lot. It took me a few tries until I found a spot. I was kindly greeted upon entry while the counter person was assisting the customer ahead of me. I ordered and paid directly on the convenient touch screen kiosk located to the left of the main register. I liked the interior transformation. Lots of onsite seating configurations and pleasant decor. Overhead music played the Beatles, which was a pleasant surprise. The wrap around pastry cases with well placed menu placards showed the variety of menu offerings. There's a wide variety of bevs, sweet and savory pastries, desserts, sandwiches, and even gluten free items from NuFlours. I ordered a 22oz iced classic milk tea with 75% sweetness and no toppings, plus some Korean sausage bread. The College Friend decided on a toasted Reuben with chips. We also shared a Portuguese egg tart. We were onsite for three hours. I noticed a constant stream of customers who also dined onsite, as well as, folks getting items to go. I appreciated observing the consistent pleasant and helpful counter staff, all with welcoming smiles! I learned that One Bite Cafe has grown to four sites: Seattle/Roosevelt, Lake Forest Park, Woodinville, and Federal Way. That's great to see ongoing success for this local, indie cafe chain.
