    Marinated Bulgogi

Came here on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn't too packed we were able to get a table as there are many. The service was good. It's got a decent selection of meats. My favorites were their Galbi and marinated bulgogi. Overall I would say this is a solid place to come for kbbq if you're craving that and nearby. My only two complaints was the table they sat us at had a very weak stove so we always needed to ask an employee to help turn up the eat each time we did a grill change and eventually we got tired of doing that so turned up the heat ourselves. My second complaint was for the price ($29.99) I felt this was too expensive for kbbq. There are probably cheaper options around the area that serve the same collections. Overall I'd give it a 6.8/10 because food was solid.

There are new KBBQ spots popping up and we were actually trying to try them this today! But the first one unexpectedly closed for a hour without notice, and the 2nd one system issues so they weren't taking any customers. You know who was taking my money?? Manna! And you know what? I'm glad they did! A lot has changed at this location: more servers were present, more grill changes without being asked, and better service!! We've always liked Manna but knew we had to wait a while and be a little more patient... but they worked out their issues. We came right before the dinner rush, and had wonderful service! They offered my toddler a booster seat without is asking, refilled our drinks without asking, and checked in on us! The meats are just as good and I think they changed up their kimchi which is a nicer flavor! Thank heavens for Manna! ;D

Good kbbq, I eat kbbq all around the country at least a few times a month and the service at this place really stands out. Some of the best service I have received at a kbbq place. My waiter Samuel is thr best waiter I have ever had at a kbbq place. Give this man a raise or make him a manager.

First time here and it did not disappoint! Even on a packed Friday night, our party of three was seated quickly. The $30 all-you-can-eat deal is a steal. Apps included and tons of different meats to choose from. The cheese corn was addicting (a new fav), and the beef bulgogi was my favorite meat we had. Service can get a little stretched with how busy it is, but overall it's great value and a fun experience.

It's was our first time visiting Manna BBQ and we were lucky enough to beat most of the crowd. We only had to wait 20 minutes for a table. One thing I didn't like is that they wouldn't seat us (a party of 2) until they had a small table. I understand the need to try to keep larger tables for larger parties, but we saw parties that came in 20 minutes after us get seated before us. Kind of a bummer. I also don't love when restaurants have carpet. Not to be picky, but the floor was a mess. Napkins and bits of paper were all over the carpet down the aisles. That said, we really enjoyed our food. After we got seated, our server came right away. He was so nice and very helpful while going over everything we needed to know. I really liked him! There were fishcakes, kimchi, bean sprouts, cucumbers, and sliced radish at our table. It was all good--i really like the fish cakes! You can order three meats at a time, and unlimited amount of other items. We ordered beef bulgogi, spicy chicken, and garlic shrimp, along with gyoza, and fried rice. The gyoza and fried rice were really yummy! Then the meat came--huge portions of raw, marinated meat to cook on the tabletop grill. So much meat! It was all very delicious. We had originally decided what stuff we would order next, but we never made it past the first round--again, huge servings. And yummy!!! I think it is better to come to Korean barbecue with a bigger party so you have the chance to try different things. As a party of two, we just didn't have enough room. It would be nice to have half orders for smaller parties? We had a delicious (and pretty healthy) dinner at Manna BBQ. When we left, there were A LOT of people waiting for tables. I'm guessing the wait was well over an hour. If you're coming, come early if be prepared for a wait.

Had a great time trying out Manna BBQ! My brother took us here because it's one of his favorites, and they didn't disappoint. We came for the lunch special and the restaurant was busy with lots of other patrons taking advantage of the deal. They start by offering banchan which included kimchi, bean sprouts, and pickled cucumber among some other items. It was the perfect starter, and they accompanied the various meats nicely so we could continue to enjoy throughout the meal. I also had the strawberry soju which was delicious! Our server did a great job explaining how it works and the various types of meats we can order. My brother did most of the ordering so I don't remember everything we tried, but the stands out were the spicy pork and galbi. Our grill light went out a few times and the staff was quick to relight it. We had so much dining at Manna and would definitely recommend it!

Honestly, I've been to quite a few Manna locations and this was my least favorite one :( Quality of the meat was on the lower end, the potato salad that comes in the banchan tastes bland and stale, the bean sprouts and fish cake also tasted a little stale. Service was slow, we had to ask for one dish 3 times before finally getting it. The servers also seemed confused as to which tables they're taking care of. Ambiance was okay, manna tends to be quieter compared to other KBBQ locations which is really good if you want to have conversation without yelling over loud music. I would avoid this particular Manna location, but my experiences at others have been solid.

Food is too good! The staff are always busy and hardworking, and even then they are super kind and attentive! The wait was about 45 (went on a Saturday) but there's a cute Asian market next door that was fun to check out. Wait felt like 10min.

We came early on a Friday (5pm). Less than 15 minute wait. Plain meat options are good. For the price and the portions, great price! AYCE includes seafood and soups. Drinks other than water are additional and desserts are additional.

If you live near here don't be shy and stop on by! This place was busy on a Thursday night but we got seated after a short wait. They gave us 6 sides which were normal quality. We ordered gyoza but it was cold so we warmed it up on the grill and it turned out good. The cha dool was my favorite meat and honesty the portions were large for 2 people so be careful ordering too much! We also got the cheese corn and it was ok... but our service was very friendly and accommodating. Overall I think this is 4 stars and that's not bad. We will come back!

Great place. We love coming to Manna over other Korean bbq places. The price is $30 per person for all you can eat which is pretty decent. This includes sides like gyoza and fried rice. They have great cuts of meat and tons of options. They also offer alcohol like Soju and soft drinks. The staff was friendly overall. The only issue we had was we kept having to ask for refills of water and they would bring us a small jug for a party of 6 and would comment on how much water we would get but we were a large party. It's nice that the location also had fans on top of each table to help get smoke and smells out. The staff was great about taking our orders and would bring stuff out quick. Keep in mind they do have a 2 hour time limit but we didn't see them enforce it so just be polite and mindful. The food was awesome and we left super happy with the quality.

    It is not a buffet.

Does any one know if there have tteokbokki or fried rice cakes?

They do not have either one.

How expensive can it be, for 2?

It's $26.99 per person plus tax not including libations except ice water which they readily provide you upon being seated.

Do they serve lettuce for wraps with bbq?

They sure do! Just ask they'll know what you're referring to! 😋

What is the sauce that is served in the dish with the salt?

    Sesame Oil

    Is msg used?

Its mostly all RAW, so unless you ADD certain seasonings when you cook it urself , its up to you.. you could always ask them when u order.. else dont go if you're that worried..

How are their COVID precautions? Social distancing? Capacity?

Honestly, other than wearing masks and checking your temperature there wasn't much social distancing. We had all the tables around us filled with people

    Table for 6?

    Yes, booths easily fit 6

    Do they take reservations?

Yes but is not adequately at your time .... still need to wait ( sometimes)! Enjoy

I am traveling on business, are they good for a single person (many of these places of a limit of 2 orders)?

Yes. You can definitely come here by yourself

How do you make the sauce they serve you?

    That's secret my boy!

How does the paying work? If I'm going in for lunch, do I just pay the A1 or A2 set or do I also have to pay the $20 something per person on top of the set choice?

Your party has to agree on a set (1 set selection per table), and it's whatever the set price per person. We went for lunch and they had a lunch set for $18.

What kind of sauces do they have? I know the typical salt, pepper , and sesame oil. What about the brisket sauce, soybean paste , and the red one? Not sure what the red one is called. And do anyone know if they serve RICE PAPER. Have not found any...

No they don't have the rice paper. I kno I miss it too. And they have the diff sauces. N I think u can just request the soybean paste sauce as well as the red sauce cuz that's what I did

Do they have Bibimbap at dinner time?

No, this is a DIY Protein bbq, with some veggie options. you could almost make your own version of it though.. This place is new/ish and still hitting some bumps in the road keeping up with supplies.. we love it tho, and will make our rounds every… Read more

I stopped by Caldwell County BBQ for dinner on a Saturday evening. Located in Gilbert, I found…read morestreet parking right in front of the restaurant despite it being quite busy. I'll preface this review by saying I have very high standards when it comes to BBQ. I am from Houston after all. Caldwell County BBQ very much lived up to the hype. It's no surprise their reviews are so good. Ambiance (5/5): Caldwell County BBQ serves Texas-style BBQ. I felt right at home. There's a lot of Texan decor and the sort of ambiance you would expect at a BBQ joint. It's a spacious restaurant with plenty of seating outside and a decent amount of seating inside. We sat inside. One of the things they do well is keeping the A/C blasting both indoors and outdoors (while you're likely going to wait in line) along with misters. Definitely something you need in Phoenix! Service (4/5): I hate waiting in line. Though it's not unusual at popular BBQ spots, I still wish places like this would hire a couple of more people to make the line move faster (or even completely eliminate the lines). We probably waited in line for about 20 minutes. They have a water cooler along the route, but it was all out. Something the staff should check on a little more frequently. With all this being said, Caldwell County is well worth the wait. Drinks (5/5): Whenever I'm at a BBQ joint, I'm looking for sweet tea. Which they have here. Plus your standard assortment of soft drinks and alcohol, with a focus on beer. Food (5/5): BBQ joints typically have you pay by weight or by plates (one meat, two meats, three meats, etc.). Caldwell does it by the pound unless you go with a sandwich, loaded baked potato, etc. What's nice is they also have a family pack for 4 which comes with brisket, pulled pork, and your choice of ribs, sausage, or one other protein which is escaping me. Plus two large pint-size sides. We rolled with this option as it's a good deal (brisket, pulled pork, and St. Louis style ribs with corn casserole and mac and cheese). White bread, pickles, onions, and jalapenos are available free of charge. There are three BBQ sauces at each table: their classic BBQ, spicy, and AZ gold). We also added a quarter pound of the AZ burnt ends. Man, these are some quality meats. Brisket is the true test of Texas BBQ and the shining star. The brisket here isn't the best I've ever had but it's quite respectable. The sweet and spicy AZ burnt ends were delicious too. The ribs were tender and had a nice sweet glaze on them. The pulled pork was my least favorite, but still quite good. The sides are solid, though they could be a bit better. The mac and cheese was too peppery for my taste and the corn casserole was too sweet. Like pretty much all craft BBQ these days, Caldwell County BBQ isn't cheap. But the quality is there. This is the type of place that I would come back to again and again. They also have a location in Peoria though this one is the original. And I hear they don't run out of meats as other BBQ joints do (especially in Texas). That's a big plus! It's always a bummer when a BBQ joint is out of something you want. If you haven't been to Caldwell County BBQ, change that quick. Yeehaw!

Seating 15/5 Anyone familiar with Caldwells business model knows this is a wait inline to order, move over to the cashier then search for seatings which can be challenging at best during peak lunch & dinner hours. In our case the Caldwell's manager Torrin personally re-arranged tables so our group could be seated together and included one table for all the food and gifts. Once our party of 30 were seated together, four + large variety platters of protein, sides and fountain beverages were placed on a serving table family style. Atmosphere 5/5 The back patio was our celebration location and it was filling up quickly and we gathered for the celebration.
