I took 2 little boys for a quick bite to eat -- so my review is primarily based on what we ordered and our order did not include pizza. We ordered spaghetti and gyro platter. The gyro was not very good and I have had much better. The sauce in the spaghetti was a bit too chunky, especially for kids but tasted okay. I will probably re-visit the place and try their pizza based on the other reviews. read more

It's a No for me. Those who know pizza understand that the defining feature is the crust. This crust is not homemade, not tasty, not good at all. It's just bland and loaded with dough conditioners so it keeps for a long time and bakes unnaturally evenly. Those who know gyros understand that the meat must be sliced super thin, to allow for an even char across a large surface area. All these guys know how to do is mark up cheap ingredients. Don't give me that Grande cheese bullshit; the magic is still missing. The tomato sauce has good flavor; though the fresh tomatoes are wrongfully refrigerated. My delivery did not arrive hot; it arrived warm. Seems I'm not the only reviewer with this experience. I shall come crawling back to my beloved Paisanos on my knees! What a mediocre pizza. (PS: I'm writing this review on the toilet.) read more

Awful management and constantly out of menu items. This could not be a more poorly run business.

We have ordered here a bunch over the last 8 years and have been satisfied. This last week they managed to destroy our history with two botched deliveries. I am willing to be understanding of mistakes. However, repeated mistakes are frustrating, and a poor reaction to mistakes will make me take my business elsewhere. We ordered a pizza on Saturday and substituted black olives with kalamata olives. This pizza arrived with NO olives. In response they offered us a 20% discount, which we later found out was a "coupon" that could not be combined with other offers. On Wednesday, attempting to fill our kalamata olive pizza craving, we ordered a custom pizza using our "coupon". This pizza arrived with black olives. My wife made the phone call to complain, but I heard enough to be upset. They started by offering another 20% "coupon" and had plenty of excuses. It was explained to us, by the manager, that they were out of kalamata olives and "what do you expect us to do....". She explained the obvious expectation that we should be notified that they do not have the thing we ordered. In further detail, the MANAGER explained that only the kitchen was aware that they were out of kalamata olives and the people that were interacting with the customer did not. The only saving grace is that after a long conversation they agreed to refund the pizza. We may be back, but only after checking out the many competitors. read more

We have only ordered on-line from these folks and not sure if I've even had the pizza. Normally we order calzones, pasta dishes, or eggplant parmigiana all of which have always been spot-on. The deserts are also very tasty, the only thing I would say is that the cannolis are not filled all the way through. There is a gap in the middle without filling. Other than that I really like the cannolis. If there is a problem with your order or if they are out of something they will call you and offer substitutions. The last time they were out of the lemon loaf, but called us to find out what we wanted instead. Overall, I would say you can't go wrong on getting their food. read more

I took kids here that I regularly babysit for, because their mother had three certificates given to them from a race that they'd run, each for a free small pizza. I have worked in the food industry & understand that there are people who really milk that stuff & that's annoying. But there was no limitations on the certificates - the family had earned them from the race, & frankly, Manhattan should not have offered them with no limitations (I.e. "Free with purchase of drink", or "one coupon per party", etc) if they didn't expect them to be used. Frankly, I was grateful for the certificates because I can't always afford to take those kids out to lunch, & it allowed me to do that. The problem is, I went in to place our order, informed them that I had the certificates, and I got dirty looks & blatant hesitation. I kindly pointed out that there were no stipulations on the certificates, & they honored them, but for that very reason, I won't ever go back in there. I'm not a stickler - I'm a foodie - I love to support local business, I love to try new things. This was my first time in a Manhattan pizzeria, & I will be glad to not give them my actual money in the future based on this experience. read more

**UPDATE** One to three stars Manager emailed with an apology. Have to give them a second chance for listening.... Pepperoni pizza was $22. Came nearly cold. Very greasy. Dough was limp and flavorless. I even asked for well done. Not impressed at all. Frozen is better. read more

I've been ordering pizza, wings, and jalepeno poppers from them since they first opened. I always order online and the food arrives in decent time. I know I should visit their restaurant, it's just so convenient to order online. :) It's still my favorite place to order pizza delivered to my home. I did notice about 2 years ago, that I started to 'earn' Rewards Points for my online orders. My question is, what are they for? There are never any Rewards available when ordering online. Their website says it's $1 = 1point, and I have just over 1000 points! How much money do I need to spend here in order to qualify for a reward, whatever that may be? read more

Great pizza fast service even delivery. I have delivered Manhattan Pizza to DC to make my daughter happy

The Wise Guy Pizza is a must try!

The food has always been really good here. I am very happy with the quality and portion. I generally order a salad and a side of garlic knots which are delicious. The vegetables always seem very fresh and their oil and vinegar dressing is very good. read more

My favorite gluten free pizza in the Ashburn area! They do it in a separate pan, so it's not crier contaminated in the oven. Great for dine in, carry out, or delivery at a small fee. read more

We visited Manhattan Pizza several times. Good Pizza, we always enjoy them. Not a big fan of Garlic Breads and didnot try anything else. I am from NY and I can tell you this not Manhattan style Pizza. They have different taste, thinner crust, more crispy slices. Overall still pretty good but definitely not NY style Pizza. read more

It is simple as great food, great people, and great customer service.. One time I rolled in there at 9PM and asked for some slices of pepperoni, and they were out, but one of the guys offered me a 16" pie for $5.99!!! Super stoked that they take care of their customers!! Props to Manhattan!! read more

I've lived in Ashburn about 3 years and Manhattan is the only place we order pizza from anymore. Pros: soft crust and great, fresh ingredients. Love the roasted red peppers (they aren't stingy with them as many pizza places are). Quick delivery and friendly delivery people. Cons: their pizza isn't great reheated, probably due to the fresh flavors being... less fresh. Tip: Always tell them when you call that you have a $1 off coupon (which is true since every pizza box has them). They've never asked us to hand over the coupon upon delivery, but we have them ready if they do! read more

My bf and I have literally ordered pizza here once a week or once every two weeks. (If I go on vacation, he might order 3 times in one week.) Seriously awesome pizza! We have been ordering from this location for 2 years now and always get Pep pizza and sometimes get gyro meat or fries. All are amazing! They always deliver super fast and hot! We have never had a problem! They even deliver on those horrible days that it is too bad to go driving -- ie, snow, heavy rain, or you just cant get out of bed because Netflix is calling! We were even staying at the hotel down the street due to apt construction issues and they delivered directly to our hotel room! Seriously, no leaving the room even! They are great and the crust and everything is FAB! You will enjoy this pizza!!!! ____ JUST FYI, WE HAVE ALWAYS ORDERED TO GO, BUT THE INSIDE IS NICE ALSO___ read more

Still love this place and will always go here for New York pizza, subs, and their cheese fries! Had a chance to try a cheeseburger there as well and YUM! Very tasty! I did want to add, they expanded their size, so staying to dine in isn't as cramped anymore! The new design is very clean and open. read more

The food is great - quality pizzas and even Italian food. The problem is the delivery and how long it takes in general. The delivery is an hour at least and the food is not usually hot. read more

I went to dinner here with my mother who was visiting; been here a few times and it's basically hit or miss. The pizza and food are really good, however the service just makes it tough to come back especially after this last time. I'm guessing it's a family owned business, which I love to support, but I'd suggest putting a little more "family and friendly feeling" into the operation. The server was completely rude; she actually said to us, "I'm sorry, I'm busy," with attitude when I made the complaint that we were expecting the appetizer before the pizza came out... and that we no longer wanted the appetizer. They both arrived at the same time. She argued with me and said it was my responsibility to pay for the appetizer once she brought the bill. I really felt like yelling that it was her responsibility to make sure the APPETIZER comes out before the ENTREE. Right?? She took the app off the bill finally; we paid... and we even left her a 10% tip. I suggest leaving her a penny so she learns something. I worked as a server in college and dealt with some pretty stressful situations, including way too many tables at once. You learn to just roll stuff off your back, but never did I ever tell a table that I was too busy for them. The server at Manhattan Pizzeria asked me what I would have done in her place. I answered that I would've walked to the back of the restaurant and kicked the wall, rolled my eyes, and said a few things to myself and co-workers... but walked back to the table and apologized for the mix up, smile, and done. In today's economy every customer counts. It's especially true for a small family owned business. There are better ways to deal with things than being rude. read more

Got a large one topping, onion rings, and a veggie calzone for takeout for $27. Great crust and sauce - true to the Manhattan style. Onion rings were crispy and the portions were all great (easily fed five people of various ages). Previously have enjoyed salads and the gyro, though we had to take some raw onions off. No biggie. Their sausage is tasty and not greasy. Staff was friendly and professional like you tend to find at family pizza joints. One of our favorite pizzas that continues to beat the trendy newcomers! read more

Sunday evening pick up order took forever. After the long wait we were disappointed to found the pizza wasn't hot. After reheating it was great but ... UPDATE I was immediately contacted by the owner of Manhattan who graciously made amends. We'll be back to Manhattan! read more

I ordered delivery last night. My order arrived very timely and the delivery man was very nice and professional. As for the pizza....it was warm at best. Once we reheated it, it was very tasty, although it didn't appear to be well done, as I ordered. We also ordered the pepperoni rolls and garlic knots. Those were very tasty as well....after we reheated them. It seems this pizza would be very good right out of the oven and hot. I will order from them in the future, but will have the oven preheated. read more

Excellent Greek salad and margarita pizza . I've been a fan of Manhattan Pizza in Ashburn for years.

I spent with the family a beautiful time there , pizza was delicious and the restaurant is so cozy, will come back again soon

Our main take out place! We love their pizza and wings, gyro salad and many more! All time Family fave!

The food is good; however the staff are so unorganized. Be careful when you use your credit card or bank card to order your food. They created two transactions and charged our card twice. We finally got them to refund one of the charges. Additionally, a few times we ordered, they kept messing up our orders by forgetting to deliver something and had to come back or they totally gave us something else that we did not order. I understand with good food comes busy moments but that is no excuse to mess up your customers orders multiple times or double charge our credit card. Please hire more people if you're short staff. Perhaps when we get one delivery with no issues, then I will edit the review and give them more stars for the great food. read more

Tonight we made our way back for a redemption trip to Manhatten Pizza. The owner didn't like my previous review and sent me a gift card and invite to get another chance.Well they added the yogurt store and cleaned the dinning room,as well as changing the ordering area.I was told that a new policy of hair restraints we be enforce, some of the kitchen people did.To no avail my wife's greasey personal pizza had a hair and tasted of rancid garlic.I had a Gyro that was ok and an order of baklava that had no taste other than sugar syrup and a hint of cinnamon.$4.79 for 2 pieces, where is the lemon & clove? It was fresh tasting though. The rude single blonde waitress stopped me long enough to complain I did not tip her enough. While the bored delivery boys horsed around and hardly did anything.I think this place needs some adult professional supervision. read more

This place never disappoints! Taco pizza ROCKS...and if ya brave it with anchovies like me, you are going to be a happy customer. Also got the Caesar salad with chicken and cheesy bread, which rounded out a perfect meal. Order early as a lot of folks are now taking off their stupid masks and they are heading out! Congrats to MP, as the rest of NY is not worth it these days! read more

We have ordered from this location for 17 years!!! We love the food, always reliable quality.

What a terrible experience. They are not following county or state health and Covid-19 laws and protcols. I couldn't eat my burger, due to how overcooked it was, so i gave it to my dog. The pizza was not prepared correctly. How do you send out a Hawaiian pizza without ham or pineapples? The cashiers were Constantly touching their masks and pulling them down to drink soda and water on the front line where guests were. I was there about 40 minutes waiting and never saw anyone clean anything or wash their hands. But the WORST thing is they touched my Gelato with their dirty hands and didn't have gloves on. The one girl licked the Gelato off her finger while closing my container, and STILL DIDN'T WASH HER HANDS. I threw the Gelatos away. Then they touched and opened my cold pizza with their bare hands as well, while speaking over the pizza. ???? I literally couldn't eat anything i purchased. I threw the pizza away as well. A waste of money, and I had to go elsewhere for lunch. I hope they turn it around, as I had high hopes and truly want them to succeed. But they're going to make someone deathly ill or worst yet kill them. A waste of 50 bucks, plus a $20 tip. I tried calling 4 times to tell them to do better, but they didn't answer once. So sad! read more

It is seldom that I write a bad review, things have to be pretty bad. I was told an hour to hour and 15min for delivery. After 1.5hrs, I called in and was told that it's almost there. After 2hrs, still no pizza. I called and cancelled the order. This is the second time this has happened to me with Manhattan Pizza. When you're hungry is no time to screw up like this. There are plenty of other pizza places around. Needless to say, I will no longer order from them. So, yes, 1-star (Not Good) is being kind. read more

Great tasting food at a decent price. Ordered delivery for 10 people and the food arrived within 40 minutes. Will order again!

5 stars? For this place? "tastes like REAl NY pizza???" Uh, I don't think so. My family & I moved to Ashburn a few months ago & tried their pizza after reading the mostly very positive reviews. My husband & I were pretty shocked to find out what our "neighbors" thought of as good NY pizza; I wanted to know where they had pizza in NYC. Manhattan's pizza is NOTHING like NYC slice pizza. NOTHING. Their pizza is far from the slice pizzas around Times Square or Rays (Soho location). So if you're looking for REAL NY pizza, look elsewhere. I concur with the people who said that their service is not the greatest. Their version of the souvlaki is OK; that would probably be the only thing I'd order again. read more

I have loved Manhattan Pizza for such a long time. My S/O introduced me to them years ago and we would always order out with them. Recently, they've gone downhill with their food and mistakes. Numerous times I've had drinks/deserts missing from my order. Sending blue cheese instead of ranch...I dealt with it and gave them the benefit of the doubt. Today literally was completely out of line. I ordered 2 steak/cheese with fries and 2 cokes (those came out alright I guess and they didn't forget the drinks this time). I ordered my daughter the kids Mac n' cheese...and I'm so livid. They gave us EASY MAC. I'm not stupid. I grew up eating it. The fact that they so blatantly took advantage of us (and many others I'm sure) leaves me speechless. They charged me $5 for EASY MAC. If I wanted to feed my daughter that I'd buy a bunch of packs from the store at way less of cost than what they charged us. I'm appalled and so disappointed, I don't even know what else to say. Giving customers microwaved noodles with a powder cheese sauce is NOT okay!!!!! Edited to add: called restaurant 5 times, 4 of the 5 times no one answered. When I finally spoke to the manager, she confirmed that they were "trying out new Mac n cheese" and that it was indeed Kraft. Will not be frequenting here again. They lost two long time customers tonight. read more
