Food was excellent!! I wish I had taken pictures before we started devouring it! We had the large deluxe pizza and enjoyed it! The toppings were flavorful and cheese was very good. The crust was light and fluffy inside and crispy outside. We also had the cheesy bread and traditional bbq wings. Both were very good ! The bbq sauce was sweet and tangy and not spicy-- my kids don't like spice so they devoured them and asked for more! They're typically picky so I was happy to see them enjoy the wings so much! The cheesy bread was also very flavorful, we loved the cheesy topping and tasted excellent with the garlic butter dipping sauce and pizza sauce! I'm giving Marco's five stars based on the fact that they are the ONLY pizza place in the zip code with a 'Detroit style' pizza PERIOD. Not only that they allow you to fully customize the pizza (see: meal) you want online without having to relay a bunch of complicated order details to a minimum wage (and overworked) employee (who's probably juggling more than a few jobs already). Their sauce is also packed full of flavor and MY GOD they have real pepperoni y'all, again, real pepperoni. As an option. To order. On anything. Five stars. The food can usually be good on a right day but today we put in a carry out order well before 10p and they close at 11p . we're heading out to go get it which is actually hard at night since it can be easily missed with no signage but they had started closing and locked up so they tossed our whole order that was paid for and just handed us leftovers like that was okay.. This is very disappointing and such a turn off especially since I was craving my order and that was my 4 yr olds dinner as well.. Ordered a medium pizza from here to try it. It was very nice. The flavors were very good. The crust was amazing. Just the right amount of toppings. The service were very nice. The ordering was very easy and when I arrived the owner talked to me and asked me if I wanted to try one of their specialty additives to the crust and I did. It was amazing. I love Marco's!! Two standouts on their menu are their CinnaSquares and their Cheezybread. Both are delicious and consistently good! Often, there are only one or two employees late at night but they always manage to deliver quick and consistent service. Overall, definitely one of the better pizza chains in the DMV. read more

I just ordered Marcos in Sterling today and they have the worst customer service! They forgot to add the salad with the order. We do not live close so it's an inconvenience to go back. I called and let the guy know and he said, "You were supposed to grab a salad from the cooler". How would I have known that as a new customer?!!! I've never known pizza carry out where you grab your own food from coolers when you paid online outside of Little Caesars. Isn't it their responsibility to inform the new customer so they can make sure the order is complete? The guy was so nonchalant and didn't care at at all. I don't recommend. It's a newer business in the area and the staff is terrible. You would think the owner/manager would hire decent staff. They all look like random family members. read more

Worst customer service! I was so happy to see Marco's finally opened. Placed an order online and after twenty minutes I got a notification that my order is ready. Went there, they can't find the order and the lady there is so mean. She agreed to make another pizza for me and I have to wait there for more than 20 minutes. I asked after 10 minutes why I got the order ready notice if the order is not ready. She responded with a very impatient attitude she saying the online time sometimes is not right and your order will be ready in couple minutes. Okay, there is a reason why I order ahead online and there's a reason why I leave my house after I receive my order ready notification. It's not the customer fault that your online system doesn't work. Be patient with your customer and remember to apologize for your mistake. read more

Most of the time I've been to Marcos I've gotten very good service. However, this last time it's wasn't so good. I ordered online and went to pick it up. When I arrived at the front counter, the guy there didn't even acknowledge my presence. My pizza was ready and sitting on the rack. The guy was on the phone with another customer, but he could've at least said. I'll be right with you. " Instead he just carried on alternating between I think was English and Spanish. This really sucks because the food is good there to I tell them not to slice the pizza because I HAVE REALLY BAD ALLERIES and two weeks in a row the mess up so they replaced it no problem then this guy I'm unsure if he almost cut the pizza or was joking around and they young lady said no don't cut the pizza then that same guy acting like a complete jerk pretends to slice the pizza the girl said stop he is here honestly I didn't need her to say that I was watching after the first pizza got cut today. I had a poor customer service experience - I wasn't given my salad when I picked up my order. I was promised a refund by a staff member that night, but the next day when I called back to ask about it they told me their store policy is that they only give store credit. As for food quality, I found the sauce too sweet and the bread too thick. Very filling, but not worth the calories for the taste. Even without the customer service issue I was unlikely to order again. So now I have 10 dollars of store credit I'll likely never redeem. read more

Tried this pizza for the first time tonight. Overall was very pleased. Ordered on their app, easy to use, and logical, which is more than I can say about many apps I've used. Overall, food was excellent. Pizza was hot. Made just as I ordered it, quite tasty. I also tried a salad which was a good value. Garden salad was very large for the price, tasted great.
