Nice cool, breezy day. We sat on the patio. The pizza was pretty good, the crust needed baking a little longer, it was doughy. And more sauce would have been better. The salad and dressing, house I believe, was good. Service was pretty good, the waiter was eager to answer any questions. Just needed to check on their table a little more frequently. read more

My husband and I decided to get some pizza for dinner on Halloween. He didn't want to get anything after 4:00 pm so we ordered from Mangieri's Pizza Cafe. He placed the order online and then we went to pick it up. They have designed pickup parking spots but there are plenty of places to park in the parking lot if those are taken. We parked and walked in. The restaurant has seating inside and outside. Upon entering we were greeted by a friendly host. We told him we were picking up our order and he showed us the pickup area. My husband went to get our order and we were off. For our food we ordered Garlic Cheese Bread and Jack's BBQ Chicken Pizza to share. The Garlic Cheese Bread has Mozzarella and Parmesan on it, and it comes with a side of Marinara Sauce and a side of Garlic Butter. The Bread was good. The cheese was melted and the side sauces were flavorful. The sauces were good separate but I mixed them together. The Jack's BBQ Chicken Pizza came with Chicken, Red Onion, Cheese, Bacon, and BBQ sauce. It was a flavorful pizza. It had large pieces of Chicken and bacon spread out, the onions were tasty, and the BBQ sauce gave the pizza a sweet flavor. Overall it was a good place to grab some pizza. The ordering and pickup process was easy, the service was friendly, and the food was good. read more

I really liked the old-school friendly neighborhood spot vibe. The hostess was sweet and helpful, the manager was attentive and involved, the boys at the take-out counter were nice and polite. The veggie pizza was excellent with lots of actual veggies on it. They use flour that is unbleached, unbromated and non-GMO. I'm gluten-intolerant with regular wheat but I can eat Italian OO flour generally. This felt in-between - not as many tummy issues as regular flour but not as easily digested as Italian or organic flour. A medium pizza serves 2. My friend got the fettuccine - was good too. The calzone she said was too cheesy. We didn't get to dessert this time. read more

Delicious pizza Nice atmosphere Slow service even on a Sunday afternoon at 4 PM and there were only three tables, including ours that had customers. read more

Mangieri's food is so fresh and tasty! Their pizza crust is what I measure all pizza crust by because it is perfect. When we got back from Naples, IT we stopped on the way home to get Mangieri's because the pizza in Naples was very different...not in a good way. The veggie and meat lasagnas are both very tasty as well as the other many items I've tried. Don't skip dessert. Be sure to order a bottle of wine and take time to soak in all they have to offer. It's casual but not quick and it's not like other "imitation" italian food gardens. The wait staff and the kitchen staff are prompt accommodating polite you won't find a better group running a restaurant read more

Food was just okay. Ordered through GrubHub, so can't say anything about the service.

Had our usual small 10" Capo Pizza, Garlic Cheese Bread, and Baked Buffalo Wings for takeout. It so lucky to have an excellent neighborhood pizza place so close to home where only takes minutes to pick up. Its easy to order and pay online and your previous orders are saved if you create an account. The pizza was again very good and so was the chicken wings. It will serve us food two days at home. It has always been consistent. The interior also got a massive upgrade where the color pallet was changed out to something more modern and elegant. read more

Oddly enough my kids loved it here. We were meeting our team and had ordered ahead because my kids were hungry. Then we didn't end up eating right away and waited until we got home. So the pizza and garlic cheese bread was room temperature but my kids were hungry and dug in. That has never happened before! They always want everything heated up. But last night they were open and absolutely loved the pizza and garlic bread. In fact - it was all gone! Additionally, I appreciated that the two guys working the to-go took the minute to check my order. So many times, I have gotten home only to find my order is wrong from other restaurants. We will 100% be back!! read more

I'm feeling rather nostalgic today with such great weather outside, I am thinking patio's perhaps. A nice Pinot Grigio with my cutie pie Suzie. The patio thoughts reminded me of our neighborhood pizza place. Mangieri's has a generous patio area as well as a cozy, warm restaurant inside. We have been enjoying Piper's and Tony's cuisine since they first opened their doors, what 15yrs or more ago? They are our neighborhood stable and have employed probably more of our neighbor's children than anyone else! What works here with Mangieri's, is they get it.... Have a reasonable menu, with good fresh, in house made ingredients whenever possible and booze. Luckily we are close enough for delivery. They have been on our weekly rotation for many, many years. I personally love their pasta dishes. Spousey loves their pizza's. Their Buffalo Wings are incredibly simple and yummy. Spousey usually gets the artichoke dip. I enjoy their strombolis as well as my favorite pie, Hot Pig. Austin Scope Ice Cream and a solid Tiramisu is also available. They also provide something that seems to be lost to a lot of restaurants, consistency and keeping things simple. We like going in as much as getting a regular delivery. The bar is simple and small. But full enough of whacka do's to converse with, if you choose. Us being part of that crowd. Well, to be real, we have some very colorful neighbors and many are quite verbose. We wouldn't want it any other way. They do have half price bottle wine night, I just cannot remember the days, but it's a weekly thing, so you may want to check their website. Ok, we heading out right now, maybe today is half price wine night... read more

This is always a favorite place for lunch. The Italian Roast Beef (think Frnch Dip) is out of this world. I usually get it with a small Caesar salad and chips, all included in the lunch price. Had lunch their yesterday and Milan was a wonderful server. BTW, the Roast Beef sandwich lunch also includes a small portion of a gardinieri salad which is incredible. read more

Very satisfying and fantastic Italian restaurant. we casually walked in and there was seating inside and outside. The seating is aplenty and there's a delivery section as well. We ordered the House Salad, Margherita pizza and veggie pizza along with Bruschetta. service was quick and the waitress was pleasant and smiled and friendly. We also had Prosecco wine and overall food was fantastic. The pizzas were perfect temp and cooked so well. The veggie bistro Pizza was just amazing. Their bread is super tasty and portions very good. Overall we are very glad to have discovered this Italian gem and we will visit multiple times now. read more

I love finding a local spot owned by fellow locals that's amazing! Sweet little spot with a super cute bar area and amazing food. Bread is light and garlic butter is so good! Chicken parm was actually juicy and not dried out like most, lasagna is creamy and flavorful. Made with clean ingredients and in house. Lucky find! read more

first time and I loved it! Went with a group. 2 had the pizza. Looked fabulous and they said it was great. I had spaghetti and meatballs with meat sauce. There were 5 meatballs! And they were not stingy with the meat sauce. So good. Great service. I will be back. I just had to post a review read more

Back again with these pasta cravings! Stopped by for lunch yesterday and got a pasta lunch combo for $14! It also came with a house salad which I ate way too quickly to snap a photo but it's basically romaine hearts with grape tomatoes, olive, and cucumber slices with choice of dressing on the side. A garlic cheese slice is included and not, I should've got an order of this because I basically inhaled it. It was so good... perfect blend of butter, cheese, and garlic on the toasty but soft hoagie? My partner wanted to snack on something so he got the kids portion pizza. It's cute and just the right amount of you're not too hungry and looking to not have leftovers. What a delicious lunch! read more

Im SO over holiday food and woke up with a craving for pizza. I didn't want to pay $80 for 2 pizzas from Brooklyn Pie Co (even though it was my first choice) i decided to try Mangeri's because I've had my eye on this place for a while. Its a little cheaper but not by much. 2 small specialty pizzas after tax came to $55 and some change. I ordered through Uber Eats because the restaurant themselves don't deliver. It didn't take long for it to arrive. But maybe if they would have taken more time getting the order together, it might have actually been correct. Instead, of the Capo and Mary Ann's I received a Capo and reg cheese pizza. While i understand mistakes happen its the fact that when i called I was told they'd remake the pizza FOR ME TO COME PICK UP. So I've paid $25 for a small pizza and the restaurant doesn't have good enough customer service to bite the bullet and have another one sent to me. Ok. Im REALLY pissed and disgusted. To the point I haven't even eaten the food so i cant rate it. I don't even want it. If this is their customer service they can keep their pizza. I won't order from here ever again. read more

Excellent chicken parm! Nice patio area and good service. Pizza is good too, pesto chicken pasta looked amazing.

Nice patio that is out of the elements just enough, and they have a cool fire place in the wither time. Great place for beer and a pie after the long work week. Little yard for cornhole on the side of the joint. read more

This place has been great for such a long time and my husband and I were so happy when we learned that they had vegan cheese options for their pizzas. The pizzas were really tasty and the service was good and food came fast. We were in a rush in our server was really great to accommodate us. My husband's beer was skunky but they replaced it for us with no issue. The ambience is great with lots of booths and it was a pretty busy place but the sound was not too overwhelming. Will definitely come here again in the future! read more

Sienna and Madison were awesome! Food and drinks were also great. We got the hot honey Savannah's Pizza.

I ordered the calzone which was not bad but it says it comes with pizza sauce whoch turns out to be a tiny cup. After using that on.leas than a third of the calzone I asked for more and found out on the bill that I was charged for it. It wasnt a huge amount but out of principle I hate restaurants that feel like they have to nickel and dime you. So much for customer service! It is pizza sauce and most people expect more than a tablespoon for a calzone. read more

Food is usually good and reasonable. I would like more bread with takeout. Food variety is worth trying different dishes.

I haven't ordered from Mangieri's Pizza off Slaughter lane in a while. I realize the cost of food has gone up but this salad is a sight for poor eyes. The lettuce wasn't fresh so I've learned my lesson. Also ordered a small Supremeo pizza. We had to heat the pizza up because it was cold. Hubby picked up the food at the suggested time to be ready. Two stars! read more

Mangieri's Pizza Cafe - This is a very sad house salad for $6.50 - Italian Near Me - Austin, Texas

Food was good, service was good, no complaints. The cheese bread was very soft and especially good. Give them a try.

This has quickly become the go-to for family takeout at the last minute. BBQ chicken pizza is my fave

Great pizza, gluten free option which an option I need. Nice combinations. Close to house, one of my go to

The cold fermented dough, seasoned to perfection, is the base of your pizza... or you can opt for Gluten Free (or even cauliflower!) crust. There's usually a pizza of the month, and they even offer vegan cheese as a topping! My kiddo (7) loves the chicken alfredo, and the adults enjoyed some cocktails and cheesy bread with the bruschetta (which was pillowy-soft garlic bread with crispy edges slathered in pesto & topped with mozz & cherry tomatoes, and perfection with a bit of marinara & garlic butter drizzled on top). We got a small "Wild Boar" pizza (fresh jalapeño, pepperoni, mushrooms, mozz & parm), and I got my custom fave (pepperoni, chevre, garlic & artichoke heart). All mouths and tummies left well satisfied (and leftovers in tow)! Cheesecake & tiramisu did not make it to the mug shots... RIP. You guys were delicious! read more

Mainly this Wild bear Pizza is so good! Mangeries uses fresh Jalapenos, they could had put more mushrooms, next time. I got mine to go. The young adults have great ettiquite. Pizza was amazing! We ordered regular crust and cauliflower crust and both were delicious. Also the patio is great! They welcomed our pup.

We ordered takeout and it was good. Not bad at all, but also nothing stellar--it was an okay pizza for the price. They have gluten free options which is a huge plus. Service was also really good, super nice person on the phone and curbside. Definitely willing to give it another try but wouldn't particularly go out of my way to go here again. read more

Today we came here for lunch and had the chicken parmigiana with spaghetti and house salad. My wife had the baked Italian French dipped sandwich and all was great.
