Mangieri's food is so fresh and tasty! Their pizza crust is what I measure all pizza crust by because it is perfect. When we got back from Naples, IT we stopped on the way home to get Mangieri's because the pizza in Naples was very different...not in a good way. The veggie and meat lasagnas are both very tasty as well as the other many items I've tried. Don't skip dessert. Be sure to order a bottle of wine and take time to soak in all they have to offer. Nice cool, breezy day. We sat on the patio. The pizza was pretty good, the crust needed baking a little longer, it was doughy. And more sauce would have been better. My husband and I decided to get some pizza for dinner on Halloween. He didn't want to get anything after 4:00 pm so we ordered from Mangieri's Pizza Cafe. He placed the order online and then we went to pick it up. They have designed pickup parking spots but there are plenty of places to park in the parking lot if those are taken. We parked and walked in. The restaurant has seating inside and outside. Upon entering we were greeted by a friendly host. We told him we were picking up our order and he showed us the pickup area. My husband went to get our order and we were off. For our food we ordered Garlic Cheese Bread and Jack's BBQ Chicken Pizza to share. The Garlic Cheese Bread has Mozzarella and Parmesan on it, and it comes with a side of Marinara Sauce and a side of Garlic Butter. The Bread was good. The cheese was melted and the side sauces were flavorful. The sauces were good separate but I mixed them together. The Jack's BBQ Chicken Pizza came with Chicken, Red Onion, Cheese, Bacon, and BBQ sauce. It was a flavorful pizza. It had large pieces of Chicken and bacon spread out, the onions were tasty, and the BBQ sauce gave the pizza a sweet flavor. Overall it was a good place to grab some pizza. I really liked the old-school friendly neighborhood spot vibe. The hostess was sweet and helpful, the manager was attentive and involved, the boys at the take-out counter were nice and polite. The veggie pizza was excellent with lots of actual veggies on it. They use flour that is unbleached, unbromated and non-GMO. I'm gluten-intolerant with regular wheat but I can eat Italian OO flour generally. This felt in-between - not as many tummy issues as regular flour but not as easily digested as Italian or organic flour. A medium pizza serves 2. My friend got the fettuccine - was good too. Had our usual small 10" Capo Pizza, Garlic Cheese Bread, and Baked Buffalo Wings for takeout. It so lucky to have an excellent neighborhood pizza place so close to home where only takes minutes to pick up. Oddly enough my kids loved it here. We were meeting our team and had ordered ahead because my kids were hungry. Then we didn't end up eating right away and waited until we got home. So the pizza and garlic cheese bread was room temperature but my kids were hungry and dug in. That has never happened before! They always want everything heated up. I'm feeling rather nostalgic today with such great weather outside, I am thinking patio's perhaps. A nice Pinot Grigio with my cutie pie Suzie. The patio thoughts reminded me of our neighborhood pizza place. Mangieri's has a generous patio area as well as a cozy, warm restaurant inside. We have been enjoying Piper's and Tony's cuisine since they first opened their doors, what 15yrs or more ago? They are our neighborhood stable and have employed probably more of our neighbor's children than anyone else! What works here with Mangieri's, is they get it.... Have a reasonable menu, with good fresh, in house made ingredients whenever possible and booze. Luckily we are close enough for delivery. They have been on our weekly rotation for many, many years. I personally love their pasta dishes. Spousey loves their pizza's. Their Buffalo Wings are incredibly simple and yummy. Spousey usually gets the artichoke dip. I enjoy their strombolis as well as my favorite pie, Hot Pig. Austin Scope Ice Cream and a solid Tiramisu is also available. They also provide something that seems to be lost to a lot of restaurants, consistency and keeping things simple. We like going in as much as getting a regular delivery. The bar is simple and small. This is always a favorite place for lunch. The Italian Roast Beef (think Frnch Dip) is out of this world. I usually get it with a small Caesar salad and chips, all included in the lunch price. We ordered the House Salad, Margherita pizza and veggie pizza along with Bruschetta. service was quick and the waitress was pleasant and smiled and friendly. Back again with these pasta cravings! Stopped by for lunch yesterday and got a pasta lunch combo for $14! It also came with a house salad which I ate way too quickly to snap a photo but it's basically romaine hearts with grape tomatoes, olive, and cucumber slices with choice of dressing on the side. A garlic cheese slice is included and not, I should've got an order of this because I basically inhaled it. Im SO over holiday food and woke up with a craving for pizza. I didn't want to pay $80 for 2 pizzas from Brooklyn Pie Co (even though it was my first choice) i decided to try Mangeri's because I've had my eye on this place for a while. Its a little cheaper but not by much. 2 small specialty pizzas after tax came to $55 and some change. I ordered through Uber Eats because the restaurant themselves don't deliver. It didn't take long for it to arrive. But maybe if they would have taken more time getting the order together, it might have actually been correct. Instead, of the Capo and Mary Ann's I received a Capo and reg cheese pizza. While i understand mistakes happen its the fact that when i called I was told they'd remake the pizza FOR ME TO COME PICK UP. So I've paid $25 for a small pizza and the restaurant doesn't have good enough customer service to bite the bullet and have another one sent to me. Ok. Im REALLY pissed and disgusted. To the point I haven't even eaten the food so i cant rate it. I don't even want it. If this is their customer service they can keep their pizza. I won't order from here ever again. read more

This place has been great for such a long time and my husband and I were so happy when we learned that they had vegan cheese options for their pizzas. The pizzas were really tasty and the service was good and food came fast. We were in a rush in our server was really great to accommodate us. My husband's beer was skunky but they replaced it for us with no issue. The ambience is great with lots of booths and it was a pretty busy place but the sound was not too overwhelming. I ordered the calzone which was not bad but it says it comes with pizza sauce whoch turns out to be a tiny cup. After using that on.leas than a third of the calzone I asked for more and found out on the bill that I was charged for it. It wasnt a huge amount but out of principle I hate restaurants that feel like they have to nickel and dime you. So much for customer service! It is pizza sauce and most people expect more than a tablespoon for a calzone. read more
