So I've been going to this place for years, but I've noticed recently a steep decline in service and quality. But tonight was the worst! After a very rough week, all I wanted was a large extra cheese pepperoni. What found out I got when I got home was a large extra cheese only. Now one would think that when I called in to say "Hey you guys forgot the Pepperoni, can you remake my Pizza?" that a normal customer service high quality place would say "Absolutely! We are very sorry for our mistake. Come on back and we will take care of you!" Not Brooklyn Pie... first the woman on the phone didn't believe me until she checked and then said "oh your right, but we didn't charge you for the pepperoni" [so this was a 27.50 large extra cheese? okay whatever] So I tried to calmly explain that I spent my time and gas getting over there and back to my house and didn't have what I had ordered. To which they responded "Well we aren't going to make you a new one since we didn't charge you for the pepperoni" So after some more arguing, something I hate doing and shouldn't have had to do, they finally agreed to correct their mistake, but we so utterly indignant about it and demanding I bring back the mistake pizza [which sure thing, it's not like I was trying to get a free pizza from these jerks], that it makes me question if I'll ever go there again after being treated like garbage for THEIR mistake! Poor treatment and overpriced mid-teir pizzas - So if you do go there, check your order before you leave oh, and their garlic knots are sloppy, gorss trash now, so avoid those entirely. read more

I don't know what to say except this food has no Italian soul at all. I ordered a giant pepperoni slice and garlic cheese bread that came to about $20. The cheese bread was super bland and the garlic butter they used was seemed like the imitation goo used at papa John's. The pepperoni slice was like cardboard and flavorless. I also noticed that the cashier was also the food preparer and never washed his hands or put on gloves. The order came out fast but I ended up throwing away 75% of the food after a couple of bites. The store is right next to lil Woodrow's so maybe drunk people don't care about taste but there are many better options for pizza nearby. Don't go on a slow night! The food was not fresh at all. It was slow and the parking lot was almost empty. I am sure we got old food. I paid $90 bucks for old pizza and wings. As Italian, my pizza standards are pretty high. I have to admit that this pizza is very good! Some friends and I ordered pizza to spend the evening together and I was surprised right away! The dough was perfectly thick, and the taste was just like the one you can eat in Italy. The tomato sauce was excellent and I personally love that it wasn't mixed with garlic (which I've seen done in other places) And the cheese was not too greasy. Didn't feel like ordering our normal dominoes, and went against the 3-star reviews on this joint. So glad I did! We've actually ordered by Uber Eats and Door Dash. The first time, order was perfect. Dough doesn't have too much flavor, I would say the food is more or less a filler, something to soak up the drinks you get from Little Woodrow's. My coworkers and I ordered Brooklyn pie for lunch and were really excited as two of my coworkers are from NY. We ordered 2 pizzas, 3 garlic knots, and 2 salads via doordash. When the food arrived, the pizzas were cold and were smooshed but tasted fine, the garlic knots were cold and unflavorful BUT we are not at the worst part- my coworkers salad that she was eating had a literal beetle CRAWLING in it!! What a good pie... specifically a Classic New York Pizza Pie, small size (don't tease me, stuff is expensive enough nowadays!). This pizza was very good and brought back memories of the last great New York style pizza I had (which was Davinci's in Charlotte, NC). I'm not from New York and I may not know what authentic is-- but I know what I like, and this was delicious! Even the crust was nice and soft and wonderful, just like I like it. I could snack on just the crust! They forgot my request (online ordering w/Grubhub) for no sausage-- but I swear that this sausage wasn't bad at all. Very mild and nice tasting slices of sausage. This was one time that I didn't mind a mistake on my food. Based on this first experience, I will definitely be getting more Brooklyn Pie Co's pizza! This is my go to place for pizza on fight nights. My friends and I have been coming to the bar next door for fights for months and I always order from here. I order the margarita pizza with no cheese and they always make my order right, which is a rarity nowadays. Their pizza is always hot, fresh, and delicious and their homemade marinara is outstanding! So here the hack if your hankering for a good NY style pie. Order from here take it home and finish it properly in your 500 degree oven. It's elite pizza when you get the crust crispy on the bottom. If people down here liked proper pizza I think they would sell it this way, so I'm not holding this against them. This goes for their competitors too (Yaghis, Home Slice, etc). Had Brooklyn a couple of times recently through both delivery and takeout. There's no place to sit here, unless you opt for drinks at Little Woodrow's next door. Wife loves Brooklyn's fried ravioli bites (~$8), and they've been our favorite appetizer here so far! I think they do a pretty authentic thin, New York style crust, and I'd recommend asking them to leave your pie in for an extra few minutes. We typically share a large pizza (~$20) and have a few slices leftover for another meal. They have a massive selection of fresh toppings (including Kalamata olives, fresh garlic, artichoke hearts, gyro, and meatballs), but if I had one request, I wish they would add sun-dried tomatoes to the menu! We'll likely be back again soon! During COVID, this has been one of our favorite places to try every month. Thanks to the staff for staying open and staying safe. read more

I got a calzone from here. While it was large in size, it has no flavor. It's bland, and the shop is oddly small, and the music is too loud for you to hear. The lady was nice, but after 15 minutes of driving, that was a 4 minute drive. None of the addresses are correct, save your money for either mod pizza nearby or anything else. read more

Too bad this place gets such a bad wrap on Yelp. I've had food from here on a few different occasions and every time it has been great ! I don't think I expected much the first time , as it is a small spot and right next to a bar , but seriously this place has some tasty food packed in this little spot ! I'm a picky NYer and I usually hate pizzas that claim to be authentic NY style because no one gets it quite right but BKC is the best effort I've had in the south so far and that's an accomplishment! We got a large pepperoni delivered and a 4 count of the garlic knots - the garlic knots were DELISH! Super buttery, lots of garlic and herbs, good crust on the outside fluffy on the inside! The pizza was great, thin but sturdy crust, perfect for folding and dipping in ranch IYKYK. The sauce was a little on the sweet side for my liking but not enough to be a detractor. MOST GIANT PIECE OF PIZZA I HAVE EVER HAD. I was a bit frustrated when my fiancé ordered the pizza, they stated it would just need warmed up and would be out in 4-5 minutes... I don't know why I am writing this review. This place was so disappointing. I guess it is my duty (haha I said duty) as a fellow Yelper to make sure YOU avoid this place or at least for anything but pizza. My friends and I were at Little Woodrow's for the big UFC match on a Saturday night. Sad Misha Tate lost but there is another story. Anyway, we had wanted some food and Brooklyn's is a place where you can order and have it delivered within Little Woodrows. You place the order at a window and they will bring it to your table. You just have to confirm where you are sitting. I ordered the gyro panini minus the cheese. The gyro panini contains Gyro meat, roasted red peppers, mozzarella cheese, red onions, with basil pesto. What came out was a toasted sandwich (not grilled) with gyro meat, onions and peppers. No pesto or if there was, there was not much of it. I had also ordered fries instead of the kettle chips. Apparently this was not reflected when my husband placed the ordered. No worries on that since we weren't charged for the fries that I had wanted. My husband ordered a calzone. Your choices since I guess Brooklyn wanted to keep things simple are either meat or veggie. The Meat Calzone contained Pepperoni, Italian sausage, ricotta and mozzarella cheese. The calzone was honestly meh but it was way better than my gyro (so called) panini. He had also placed an order of garlic bread which was basically super hard Italian bread with maybe a smidgen of garlic baked inside of it. Later on in the evening I swiped a piece of pizza from my friends and that was pretty decent and also was a very large slices. I would consider ordering a pizza if I was at Little Woodrows if I had the drunk munches but I would never come here just because to order food. read more

My 8 year old daughter wanted Whataburger, and although I love Whataburger, I wasn't in the mood. Wife wanted Jets but I wanted something different. So I asked my wife if she wanted to try something different and she said yes. I negotiated with my daughter that I would buy her a pizza, all her own, the size of her head. Ordered online an 18" pizza with Pepperoni, Italian Sausage, Black Olives and Mushrooms, 20 piece wings (1/2 Hot and 1/2 Lemon Pepper), a Large Cesar Salad and a slice with Pepperoni, Italian Sausage, Bacon and Canadian Bacon on it. Requested it be ready in 20 minutes. Got there picked it up, boxes were hot and people were friendly enough. They asked if I wanted peppers and cheese which I said yes to. Got home, and the look of my daughters eyes was great fun. She loved her pizza and ate half of it. Wife and I ate 1 piece of pizza, some salad and 4 wings a piece. The Pizza was good, just like I used to eat in Brooklyn and NJ when I was there for business for extended periods. The salad was basic Cesar but the lettuce looked nice, wasn't brown and had the dressing on the side so it wasn't soggy. The wings, now I love me some wings, and we do them at home but these wings were really good. Crispy skin but still moist in the middle. Sometimes places crisp up the skin so much that it dries out the meat. Sometimes the meat is juicy and but the skin is not crispy and they're fatty. My wife, who normally pulls the skin off due to the fat, didn't and ate all of it, excluding the bone. Very tasty wings we both agreed. So all in all, I rate this a 5, which my daughter loved, my wife liked it a lot but she's more of a thick crust girl and I rated love my thin crust 70% of the time when eating pizza. I have to be in the mood for thick crust like Detroit or Chicago style. We'll order again but next time we'll order 1 Salad, wings and 2 big slices as that's what is perfect for our family. However, and don't tell my wife, that I'm glad we over ordered so I can eat the leftovers while watching my KC Chiefs play tomorrow. Great Job Brooklyn Pie Company. read more
