Now that was a great pizza. It was ready on time and the owner was super nice. For being a food truck he really knocked it out of the park.

We got the small 10 inch pizza and it fed two hungry people perfectly!!!! Let me tell you about the day I've had so far. I've been traveling from Florida trying to get back home. 17 hours at the airport. Sounds ridiculous right? I know. Anyway, I finally got to my hotel. I'm sweaty, I'm hungry, and I just wanted a bite to eat. The hotel I'm staying at, Atwell Hotel, recommended this place, and wow I'm so thankful they did!!! We ordered delivery and it came so fast. When I tell you guys this is one of the best pizzas I've ever had, I mean it. We ordered the buffalo chicken pizza, and normally when I've ordered these before, they're not that good. There's never enough sauce, the chicken to sauce ratio is off, and it's just all over the place. But this pizza was so delicious. Crispy and soo full of flavor !!!! Not soggy either !!! Honestly, I don't think I've ever given a novelty pizza a 10 out of 10, even back home. And I'm from New Mexico and we have some pretty good pizza spots. No ranch needed on the side, no extras, literally nothing at all. I'd say this is one of the best pizzas I've ever had, and I can't recommend this place enough. We order 2 medium came to $39 (meat lover and a pepperoni) let's see how it goes!! I didn't know it was a food truck, haven't had much good experience at food trucks but we are here and will be getting our pizzas!!! Good customer service and don't let the outside fool you! Placed a pick up order and it was ready right on time. Picked up at the truck that's in a parking lot. Prices are great compared to other pizza spots in town. Loved the veggie pizza and the pepperoni pizza. Ingredients were fresh, especially important on the veggie pizza! Dough was soft and chewy and crust was crunchy. It's a food truck that is situated in the corner of a pool hall parking lot, backed up to a seedy Ben White frontage road area. That doesn't matter, though. The supreme pizza was excellent! The toppings were delicious! It was hot and ready when I arrived at the truck to pick it up. My only issue was with Uber Eats, their support manager suggested that the best way to resolve the issue is to LEAVE BAD REVIEWS ABOUT THE MERCHANT (!) for an issue that was caused by solely by a bug in the Uber Eats app. This is an insane policy and company culture with Uber Eats that really needs to be addressed. Puzzled by all of the 5 star reviews. The pizza is good, but very average. I don't think the crust is made on site. Tastes and feels like a frozen/packaged pizza crust. The service is good and it's fairly priced. Would I go back? Yes - but with expectations based on my experiences, not other Yelp reviews. The location being the biggest reason. PL had such an amazing reviews, so had bookmarked it, and we were in Downtown area, and decided to try it out. Place: when you follow the gps, it takes you to an Auto shop parking lot( something like that), so for a second we got Confused, but that's we're PL truck and one more food truck is parked. Service has gone down dramatically. Took 30 minutes for them to make a pizza. They were not busy. Ordered online and showed up and the guy said it would be five minutes. Five minutes later he says it'll be 10 minutes. He looks like a kid so I'm not sure they made a great choice leaving a kid in charge. When he gave me my pizza, he said, "red pepper or Parmesan?" The first night of the winter nightmare we decided to order in and have it delivered. This place had good ratings and wasn't far so we took our chances with this pizza spot. Glad we did because it was pretty good. I come from Chicago and for the 6 years we've been here we weren't able to find a pizza joint that was worth eating and ordering again. My favorite still is and always will be Chicago pizza lol but this spot is a very good spot and we've ordered multiple times already. We order online and when they deliver the pizza it's hot, fresh and a crispy crust. That is one of the deal breakers! lol if you can't keep a crispy crust when delivered then its not good enough. The first time I ordered a personal size for each of us because I was dealing with some picky people. lol They were all great and no complaints from the picky one. You can create your own pizza or choose from already made combos. Their calzones are pretty good as well but my preference is the pizza. I had the Margherita pizza, hubby had pepperoni & moms had sausage. It was a hit and this is now our go to spot when we have a craving for pizza.
