While I was sad to see the previous restaurant go, this place has taken over with no complaints. This is the best won ton soup in the area. The service is fast but not rushed. The food is very good. The won tons are made fresh in-house. On some days you can actually watch them make them. The food is fresh and totally not greasy. We come here for lunch often. The food is reasonably priced and very good. read more

Food is great. Great service. Never really are at the restaurant as I always do take out.

First time going there, did take out on a Sunday night , Dining room was full ( good sign) Food was great , we got chicken and broccoli, Yang chow fried rice, and pork chow mein Portion of chow mein was huge , enough to feed 4 adults , ridiculous amount, and it was flavorful and full of pork Definitely going to return, read more

Very good! Had pork potstickers, sizzling rice soup, chicken with deluxe vegetables & egg foo young with pork. Great food & great service. Yum read more

One of my favorite Chinese restaurants in town. Service is good. Food is good. The hot and sour soup is awesome. Come here for the lunch specials occasionally. Owner is nice. I am a repeat customer here for good reason. read more

New name but same awesome food. I'm such a regular here they know me by name . Their food is consistently yummy and such a selection too! Give them a try you won't be disappointed. read more

The quality of this food is unmatched to anything else that I have had in the area. The service was great as well. I started to order the lunch menu but realized that I preferred the dinner option. I was going to order dinner for 2 and take some home while my husband still ordered his lunch order. The owner stopped and helped us understand that we were going to have way too much food and told us the option of ordering the dinner but subbing one of the meats for the orange chicken my husband wanted. I really appreciated this because he could have just let us slide and went for the money rather than help us out. He was completely right! It was more than enough food. The won ton soup was great! So fresh! The shrimp was cooked just right in it and the wontons were delicious. The sweet and sour pork was so crispy and tender! And the orange chicken was awesome too. I have no complaints. Actually looking to go back today. So happy we gave this place a try. It's really small and every table was taken but we came in just as a small table was freeing up so we didn't have much of a wait. I can only imagine how the wait might be on the weekends though. But we'll see. Definitely worth it though. read more

My family and I order takeout from this place every week.. shrimp and scallops. Delicious each time. Bo (the owner/manager) is also very energetic and cordial. I will be coming here every week! read more

A standout restaurant in the area. The food is always amazing and the service is quick and friendly. With the huge portions there will always be leftovers. read more

Amazing and so delicious. Always so friendly too. The food is always fresh and yummy. The orange chicken is my favorite, it's super fresh and tastes like real orange. read more

Not sure why this place has so many positive reviews. I literally had to trash the food as I could not eat at all, Orange chicken tasted bitter, kung pau chicken was horrible. It tasted so bad that I could not even eat one piece. Chicken fried rice tasted nasty as well. I wasted my 50 dollars and still hungry. Panda Express is way better read more

The service is great and clean. The foods is yummy. I definitely coming back and try something different. read more

I was really hoping to leave a better review - but I feel majorly let down by all the fanfare about this place on Nextdoor & the Dublin Rants & Raves Facebook page. While we were promptly seated and provided drinks, the manager that took our order unfortunately got to put it into the kitchen...more on that later. While we waited for our lunch, we were served hot & sour soup that was extremely thick and gummy: that should've been a sign already to leave. While the table behind us were seated after us, they received their lunch and the tables around us were being tended to, leaving us wondering why we were forgotten. Fortunately I spoke up and that's when we realized the order was not submitted to the kitchen. We asked for it to be packed to go (and the manager apologized profusely) but we should have just left the restaurant because the food ended up being incredibly disappointing: greasy, bland, and an enormous flavorless portion. I feel bad for wasting food but there's no way I was going to save any of it for leftovers. Honestly this place is no different than China Paradise. For a similar budget lunch special Chinese restaurant, Dragon City in downtown Pleasanton is much better. read more

I had high expectations and not really met. I was missing one of my white rice, but only $2.00 loss, so it was not that big of a deal. No sauce came with my potstickers. They were pretty good and they gave a lot of food. I wasn't too impressed with the chicken pretty fatty. All the vegetable dishes were very good, though. I would recommend them the vegetables dishes were pretty good. Just make sure you have what you ordered before leaving. read more

The lunch special was excellent. I ordered the Kung Pao prawns. Huge portion - great food. Clean, fresh and hot off the wok to my plate in less than 15 mins from time of order. This review is more like a 4.5, but can't do that. read more

Mandarin Delight - Chinese Near Me - Dublin, California

Excellent quality food with good service. This was for takeout and it was packed well and ready on time.

They closed our local china Village. Tried The Mandarin Delight. Was super impressed. Food was spot on on taste and portions. The staff was very nice. We will for sure go back. read more

Tried this place last night. The quantity and quality of the dishes were good but alas, the lack of FLAVOR continues on. I'm about ready to give up on "Chinese" food , can't find one place that has any. I remember there being many awesome choices years ago, but apparently no more. read more

Since discovering this restaurant we order from them weekly. We used to occasionally order Chinese food full of excitement and anticipation only to be underwhelmed or outright disappointed. Then we found Mandarin Delight and can now satisfy our craving for healthy and delicious Chinese Food any time we want. have ordered extensively from the menu and has all been superior in taste and quality. The 1 star soup reviewer needs to blame extended delivery time, their won tons hold the f up, I can testify. A gazlillion other 5 star reviews don't lie, this place will not disappoint. Ten Goldblums out of a possible ten Goldblums. read more

The food was amazingly good - all freshly cooked. It was a small and busy place. But the staff are all efficient and immediately responded to us. The place was clean, including the toilets, complete with toilet paper, paper towels, soap, etc. read more

Mandarin Delight is our "go to" Chinese restaurant. We would order a lot more take out from them, the only problem is we live all the way in San Jose! Their food is delicious and portions are very generous. We need to explore their menu a little more but our favorites include salt and pepper pork, beef chow mein, tomato beef chow mein, and sweet and sour chicken. read more

Had lunch. Very good. Fresh. Delicious! Lots of food. I recommend the szechuan chicken lunch

Really impressed with quality and portion size of all of the dishes we ordered. The firecracker chicken was the belle of the ball. Beef with black bean sauce was great. Our only very slight quibble was with the mu shu pork, as the pancakes were very thin and hard to roll. The staff were working very hard on Xmas eve. Despite the rush, everyone was very nice. We will definitely return. read more

Took my family to lunch here and man they are so good. Fresh ingredients and I love their open kitchen style. You can see the cooks and the smell of the food just enter the dining room. They have lunch specials every day and it's such a good deal. Choice of entry and a side. It comes with a preset soup and a fried wonton. YUM! For an additional charge you can upgrade the soup if you don't like the option they have for the day. Everyone enjoyed their dish and it was decently portioned for one. I got the orange chicken and I have never tried anything as good as this. You can really taste the orange flavor. Coming back soon! read more

Love this place Service is so good. Food is wonderful. My husband and I recommend this restaurant most highly. You also don't wake up swollen as they don't use MSG. BY FAR THE BEST CHINESE RESTAURANT IN THE VALLEY read more

We've been coming to this place for a few years now. Food is always consistent, tasty, and hot! Portions are very big, so a good value. Staff is attentive, efficient, drama-free, precise. Biggest asset to this restaurant is the owner. I feel like I know him. He is always gracious toward us for our business, welcomes us, stops by to chat. Always hustling whether helping the kitchen, working take-out, running food, and cleaning tables. If we ever had a complaint we know he would address it, but honestly we've never had a complaint about anything! I go with coworkers and also family. Both lunch and dinner. Consistency, value, hospitality all 5 stars! And being a native San Franciscan whose had his share of Chinese food from China Town, I would put this place up there to compete with any of those...it's THAT GOOD. If you haven't tried, I would highly recommend. read more

Omg we were so bummed to see China paradise closed and while searching Yelp for Chinese food tonight , I noticed the front of this restaurant looked similar to China Paradise. I've never been so happy to find out it was a name change but basically same/old owner of CP. We placed an order right away lol and was not disappointed with the same awesome food. So happy to have rediscover our fave Chinese food place once again. read more

As a foodie from HK, I must say their dry fried beef fun was very good, both in quality and value. I am sure it would be even better (especially wok aroma) if I eat in. I hope to try other dishes next time. read more

Service is always fast, food is always good, and the chili oil has drugs in it because it's so addicting and flavorful. Banger!!!!

Excellent food. Great service. I will be back. My sister and I stopped in on Christmas day after seeing a movie at the theater.

Great food and very good service! I've been here a couple times now and will definitely come back!

Our first take out order at Mandarin Delight was delicious! We ordered the set menu for 3. Food was plentiful, well prepared, flavorful and ready on time. Easily enough food for 4-5. We loved the hot and sour soup made with chicken and mushrooms. Lemon chicken, crab Rangoon and pork fried rice were wonderful. The only disappointment is that of the three main dishes, two are very similar beef dishes with broccoli and sauce. The beef pieces were very soft, not much texture. Please think about making one of the dishes - ideally a pork dish or another chicken like cashew so there are 3 very different flavor and texture profiles. Thanks read more

Food was great overall and will come back again!! Service was also fast and friendly staff.

The business changed names but apparently nothing much else. Food is awful. Too oily, they charge you for every little thing, and when we got takeout, even my son (not picky) remarked that a couple of the dishes were "gross." I keep getting burned by going there because chinese food SUCKS in this area, but I am definitely never going back, name change or not. read more

Great, reliable Chinese food with a new owner. Food seems better under new ownership as pride of quality and service really seems to stand out now (but was never lacking before). Menu is the same as before with my favorite Salt and Pepper Pork, Wor Wonton Soup and Beef Chow Fun getting even better. Can't go wrong here. read more

We ate here tonight for the first time and it was excellent! We started with the pork potstickers, one of the best I've even eaten. For entrees my husband had the beef chow fun and I had the combo Kung Pao with chicken, shrimp and beef. Both dishes were large portions that could easily serve two people and were cooked perfectly and very flavorful. The service was excellent. The entrees were on the pricey side but it was worth it given the quality and quantity of food served. We'll definitely make a return trip! read more

First time dining here at lunch time on a Tuesday. Got there around 11:30 A.M. Was 1/2 full as the entire restaurant had "can music" so loud, it was very hard to have a decent conversation at all. The food menu was extensive and the prices were higher due to the weak economy, etc. We had mu shu shrimp (needed more wood ears to offset the abundance of cabbage and white onions) , beef w/garlic noodles (very heavy on the garlic & dark soy sauce) & lunch special of garlic eggplant (the best of the three mentioned above. Need 1-2 more employee busboy/waiter assistant helpers as the service lacked big time. Kept raising our hand to gain their attention, etc. Too far to travel from San Leandro for a repeat visit. read more

Mandarin Delight is the home of amazing Chinese food. It's the exact same menu as before when it was called China Paradise, just under new ownership with a new name. If you ask me, the food quality has greatly improved under the new owner. Service is always great and the entire atmosphere is much more friendly under the new owner. Been coming here for years and have seen the latest improvements first hand. The previous owner was never friendly but the new owner, Bao, is one of the friendliest people you could meet!! read more
