This is a dreamy café and it feels like entering a little wonderland. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by glowing lights and sparkling treats in the cases, sweets and pastries that immediately catch your eye and make it hard to choose. I am absolutely obsessed with the salted tahini honeycomb latte. It was unlike anything I've ever tried and I savored every last drop. Truly a standout and worth the visit on its own. We ordered the soup and grilled cheese. It was comforting, but could use a bit more flavor and salt. A drizzle of truffle oil would take it to the next level. The pastries were good overall, but the chocolate chip cookie stole the show. Hands down the best bite of the day. The quiche was a little on the salty side and burnt on top. The young man working the front was incredibly sweet and kind, which added to the charm. The young lady delivering the food seemed a bit unhappy and set the plates down rather abruptly, which felt a little awkward. Even with those small hiccups, we still had a beautiful experience. The space is lovely, cozy, and magical, and we would happily return.

I'd just finished the frigid cold Dallas marathon and asked bestie if he could please drive us to Maman to get coffee and pastries. It was our first visit, the line was fairly lengthy but seemingly moved quick enough for little miss impatient. I ordered the pistachio croissant and he had some sort of sticky pecan bun. My latte was warm and delish! Both of our pasties were tasty. We ordered to-go because I desperately wanted to get home for a hot shower to thaw out after being frozen all morning. Picked up a croissant claw clip for my Mommy, because she loves croissants. I'll surely return in the future. Very cute pâtissière!

The pastries and staff were good (especially the staff), but the environment and coffee leaves much to be desired. While the decor is charming, the energy of this place feels rushed- like how Starbucks wants you to order and get out without lingering too long. I felt like this even before I found out they are a "laptop free environment." Also, the coffee is basic; nothing to write home about at all (plus the iced coffee cups are weird). If I ever return it'll be to get something to go, because the lemon creme brûlée sugar bun and cinnamon bun Kouign-amann were surprisingly good (not the best, but pretty decent).

The positives: The ambiance and pastries blew me out of the water. Genuinely one of the best quiches I've ever had the privilege of trying. The tart was perfectly flaky and the egg part was so flavorful. I also loved the pecan sticky bun; it was perfectly sweet and the crunch of the pecans enhanced the texture. The negatives: the line is LONG (at least when I went during Thanksgiving time), so definitely account for waiting time when you go. Also, they don't give out the WiFi code for the cafe -- it wasn't encouraged for people to stick around for long, but maybe that will change when the hype dies down. The in-between: The pumpkin matcha was fine; a little too unsweetened for my liking and I didn't feel like the pumpkin puree paired that well with the matcha. I wouldn't get it again. Overall, this bakery is phenomenal. I'm surprised to see it get so much hate with the reviews, and admittedly, I have not been to the original location in DC. But I loved the pastries that I tried and will be back!

Maman is such a cute little cafe, and I'm glad I came! I came on a Thursday around 11:30, and boy was it packed inside. Thankfully the line wasn't long and I was able to snag a small table. I ordered the iced salted tahini honeycomb latte and the breakfast sandwich. The latte wasn't anything special in my opinion, but the size small did come in such an adorable little boot cup! The breakfast sandwich, though? DELICIOUS. The bacon was fabulous, and there was plenty of avocado. Overall, great proportions, and I highly recommend! Honestly, half of the sandwich was able to fill me up. Later, I caved and tried the nutty chocolate chip cookie. It was pretty hard on the edges and not as gooey as I was thinking it would be. Decent cookie but not amazing. The space inside is very charming with the blue and white decor. There's plenty of seating available, but almost everything was taken when I arrived. I got lucky with a cozy corner spot, and the pillows were really comfy. I stayed until 3, and the cafe really emptied out by then (if you wanted to come when it's not too busy). The area where you order, though, felt pretty cramped. Most of the people here were socializing, but there were a few people working on their laptops. Heads up, they actually don't share their wifi, which was really weird, so be prepared to use your hotspot. Service was pretty standard. Food and drinks came out quickly. There's plenty of lot parking available, and I got lucky to find a spot right in front. My friend came at 11:55, though, and she drove around for 15 minutes trying to find a spot. Overall, I enjoyed my first visit to Maman and would definitely come back! All their pastries and food looked divine. I'd probably just come earlier on a weekday just because I can only imagine how busy it would be on a weekend!

I've been excited and waiting for the opening of Maman, since I was a fan of their cafes in NYC as well. They're conveniently located in a plaza off NW highway with ample parking. Despite the very long line on opening day, they managed the crowd well. I got my salted tahini latte, which was a perfect warm drink on a cloudy and slightly cool day, with only a slight wait. The staff working were professional and kind, clearly caring about everyone's experiences here. Importantly, they have a good amount of seating - the front and long hallway of the shop have multiple two- and four-seaters, and there is one larger table in the back. Might not be as good for large groups, but could be great for a lunch or coffee date once the crowds/noise die down. They also have a promising front patio next to the parking lot for outdoor dining options. Overall, loving the new location, and excited to have a piece of New York in Dallas.

Very cute interior and option to sit outside! Loved the assortment of creative pastries, went with Oprah's favorite things chocolate chip cookie, pistachio loaf and a cinnamon roll. Also ordered a banana pudding latte and a salted tahini latte. The drinks came first, both were good in their own way -- the salted tahini is very unique, could definitely pick up on the salt. Waited a little longer for the pastries, they were served on very cute plates but would have been better and the wait would've made sense if they were warmed up. Overall liked the pistachio loaf best! Would definitely venture back to try more on the menu.

Since it's still pretty new, spots fill up fast inside the cafe so a lot of people were getting their orders to go. All of the staff were really nice and helpful; one of our pastries wasn't available so someone replaced it and took care of an additional pastry. It was pretty loud in the cafe because it was so busy but it was really pretty and had a nice aesthetic. The food and drinks were pretty good as well, the drinks not as good as the food, but overall a pretty solid spot.

Pretty good coffee shop. The inside is very beautiful. Great place to stop in and try. This is better than La La Land.

I really enjoyed the dessert that I tried. I had the dark chocolate tahini cookie, there normal chocolate chip cookies with nuts, the pecan roll which was excellent. I need to go back and try more of the menu.

I've always been a big fan of Maman chocolate chip cookies in NYC and was excited to see an outpost in Dallas! This review is strictly for the classic chocolate chip cookie alone which are still buttery and delicious, but I think less chocolatey than the ones I've had in NY. Still delectable. Service was super friendly. Parking is atrocious here though, so might not be worth toiling through all of that. If the fates align and you find yourself walking by here, definitely enjoy a treat!

Found a foil food wrapper piece in my brisket croissant.. This place was over crowded with rude-pushy customers and staff running around. Barely any standing room to wait for food/drinks. I got the Brisket Croissant as it's the Dallas Specialty but there really wasn't anything special about it.. Matcha was also basic. Overall, this place is just another overly hyped on socials cafe. It has the makings of being promising, but as it's a chain I would visit once just to say you did and move on.

My friend and I came by Maman to catch up on a Sunday afternoon. The line was fairly short around 1pm and all the pastries were still available. I ordered the pecan sticky bun, and my friend got the tea cake and cookie. All the pastries were so tasty, I was pleasantly surprised! The sticky bun had a really smooth dulce de leche-like topping and was nice and buttery. There was a good amount of seating for two people, which we were surprised about since this place has been pretty viral online. The employees were super sweet and helpful as well!

Coffee was decent, nothing to rave about. My cappuccino was served in a paper cup which I was not thrilled about. We were eating inside, not taking anything to go, so there was no reason for that. Paper cups influence the flavor of a hot espresso and I drink mine with no sweeteners specifically because I want to taste the actual shot. The espresso was also slightly burnt, which tells me the machine needs a good cleaning. Iced coffee is a different story but for hot cappuccinos, ceramic makes a real difference. My husband's coffee was good though and he was happy with his. Breakfast sandwiches were the toaster style, similar to what you'd expect from a place without a full kitchen. I genuinely enjoyed mine. My husband was not impressed by his. Overall it was a good enough time. We would not go out of our way to come back but if we were in the downtown area and needed a reliable spot in a pinch, we would stop in again. P.S. My ratings are based on whether I believe I could make a better or healthier version at home. If food/drinks/service impress me, I'll be happy to come back. If not, the stars reflect that.
