I love coffee shops that make you want to start dating it, move in, and never leave. Good Boy Coffee does that. They have some magic in this cute coffee place/retail shop. It's so cozy. The music is always the best music in the background. You could easily chill listening to it, get some work done, or pick up pieces of others' conversations. It's easy to drown out the noise here. Most importantly the coffee is fantastic. The lavender latte might be made of unicorn tears. It's the best I have ever had. I tried one of their cookies on my last visit and it was sinfully delicious. Kind of melty without being warned. Amazing. Stay long enough to check out the little shop attached. another world truly! the store itself is beautiful and meant for lingering and perusing. the drinks are definitely some of the most expensive i've seen, but the baristas are precise, syrups made in-house, and they take the time to deliver your drink. you can also feel good about proceeds going towards animal rescue. conveniently transit-friendly location, too!! they measure syrup using jiggers, and are pretty heavy-handed, so if you are sugar conscious you might want to ask them to make your drink less sweet. an impressive but unpretentious first date or networking spot. if you're on a budget, save this spot for a day you need to hunker down on some work and be inspired! read more

Super cute space! Loved the aesthetic of the shop. Lots of natural light and fun decorations. Yuzu lemonade was good! Wasn't what we were expecting, more so on the tarte side, but flavorful nonetheless. Matcha latte was okay. There are better places to get matcha, IMO, but it was a solid cup. Tried the strawberry matcha and it was very well mixed and prepared. I don't like when matcha is too sweet or not sweet enough so this was the perfect blend of both, meeting right in the middle. The cafe features a shop where you can peruse their merchandise and clothing line as well as some thrifted items featured along the back walls and they also sell fragrances and essential oils. Thought I had reviewed this place before ... Great place to get your hipster fix of coffee and tea if you're in the area. The rose latte is well presented and delicious! The vibe is hipster heaven. Green 60s style decor with an eclectic mix of indie music wafting through the space. (e.g. The Sundays, Weyes Blood, and Bjørk were playing while I was there last.) The space also contains a little hipster vintage store with various clothing items and knickknacks. As for the negatives ... The prices are a little on the high side. The only alternative milk offered is oat. And there is no toaster for the pastries. I had a Japanese curry pastry that would probably have been perfect (for a premade coffee shop pastry) if it would have been lightly toasted. I needed to productive and decided to give this spot a go! Upon entering, I was greeted by a friendly face, Ashley. She reassured me that if there was anything I needed assistance with that she could be of service. I ordered a regular coffee with oat milk and added lavender. All of their syrups are made in-house which makes a world of difference. I also ordered a butter croissant as they did not have any donuts. (I was a little bummed because I was really craving one). Nonetheless, my coffee and pastry was delightful. After my productive session, I got a chance to check out their shop which is called Hey Koneko. They have several things to choose from. Ranging from bath and body items to plants. Definitely a neat concept and quaint coffee spot. I recommend checking them out. The music is also good. Mostly r & b and some hip hop. read more

This is one of the prettiest coffee shops in Dallas. It's not technically a full coffee shop because it's inside the vintage shop Koneko, but I love that you can browse while getting yourself a cup of coffee. I have mixed thoughts because I ordered their specialty latte that costs $12 with tax...which is kind of insane. $12 for a coffee?? It was really flavorful, but it was also just very very sweet. This place is a hidden gem!! The Good Boy Cafe is located within the vintage shop Koneko. If you love to sit around live plants while you sip, then this is your spot. (Tip: Plants are also for purchase!!) If you love to shop for unique gifts and goods while you wait for your drink, then this is your spot. I'm a sucker for seasonal drinks, so today I tried the caramel cookie latte. It tastes just like it sounds. It was a treat! Glad I was able to try it before it leaves the lineup. What really got me vested in the vibe was learning that Koneko means kitten in Japanese. The owners love kittens. To top it off, there is such a memorable back story to the name "Good Boy Cafe". I can't retell the story the way the owner does it. I could not hold back the "Aaaawhhh" when it's said that all dogs are good boys. "Aaawhh"! I can't say enough good things about this place! It's my favorite spot to work remotely. The drinks are amazing, especially the iced strawberry matcha with oat milk.You can really tell they use high-quality ingredients, and it makes every sip totally worth it. The baked goods are also fantastic, especially the chocolate cookie, it's a must-try. But what really keeps me coming back is the staff. The owner always makes me feel welcome and like part of the Good Boy Cafe family. And the manager is always making sure the vibe is great for everyone. I always see her going above and beyond for customers. The friendly atmosphere is why I love coming here. It's the perfect place to work or just chill with a great drink. i have officially inducted "good boy" into my cafe rotation. because i am undoubtedly a "good girl", this place absolutely rocks!! i loved it so much the first time i visited twice, i went back a couple days after my initial visit. the interior design is very chic + moody. there is also a boutique of curated vintage items; from jewelry to bags & dinnerware. the service was kind + chill, what you expect from a non corporate cafe. the baristas were giving fashions i would totally recommend going here!! but please bring your patience, because there is no sense in rushing a good thing.. and good boy cafe has a great thing going i've had the pleasure of vibing with : the rose latte and rose matcha latte. i must say, the rose latte is perfectly balanced andddd the matcha latte is one of the best i've had in a long while. read more

Tucked inside Koneko, this place is a hidden gem. THE BEST dirty chai I've ever tried. I walked in not knowing what I wanted wanted, but after talking to the barista, she mentioned that the dirty chai with oat milk is one of her go tos. Loved the spices in the chai, the barista even checked to make sure I was ok with extra spices before making my drink. I had some time to kill after work before heading home so stopped by this place as it's walking distance from my office. It's connected to the nearby tattoo shop Koneko and has a very "chill-hipster-like" atmosphere. It' was very well decorated with art and animals heads/figured along the walls. Much of the space is actually dedicated to selling smaller trinkets, clothes, and plants, so it's a little cool to look around. However, it is true that the prices of their drinks are kind of high. I can only speak to the matcha latte, which I ordered. It seems like the standard size is a bit more on the larger size, which may justify the price, and I found my drink to be a little watered down per say + I've had more flavorful drinks. Ideally I would've picked the Spanish latte as it seems to be the more unique drink on the menu. However, they do not have decaf, and I didn't feel like getting more caffeine close to end of day. Overall it's a cool store ambient wise but as a coffee place, it's not the best in the area. read more

However, both the vintage and coffee are priced proudly. $200 for a jumper and $8.50 for a decent-but-not-amazing iced mocha is a little outrageous. They're counting on the $30k millionaire patronage. The barista is nice, but he's all alone. We've been waiting for 45 minutes for our drinks. The second barista that just came had to come ask us what we ordered because they are too backed up on the register. So a $40 bill for two drinks and two cookies, plus the insane wait time ensures that I'll never be back when there is better, quicker, cheaper coffee in the area. read more
