    Good boy cafe

Tried the strawberry matcha and it was very well mixed and prepared. I don't like when matcha is too sweet or not sweet enough so this was the perfect blend of both, meeting right in the middle. The cafe features a shop where you can peruse their merchandise and clothing line as well as some thrifted items featured along the back walls and they also sell fragrances and essential oils. I really enjoyed the ambiance of the cafe, especially the modern furnishings and plants.

This is a beautifully soothing space close to downtown. I loved the coffee menu and cozy, lush velvet coaches. I loved the curated gift shop full of plants, clothing, home goods and scented candles and soaps. It was very quiet during my visit and I had a bit of a wait until the barista came from out back, but overall this is a lovely place to take a deep breath, slow down and sip a hot cup of coffee.

Great place to get some work done. Lots of sitting room. Cool stuff to look at when you need a break. Barista was super friendly. 9$ cold brew - but that's standard. Offer a neighborhood discount!

I needed to productive and decided to give this spot a go! Upon entering, I was greeted by a friendly face, Ashley. She reassured me that if there was anything I needed assistance with that she could be of service. I ordered a regular coffee with oat milk and added lavender. All of their syrups are made in-house which makes a world of difference. I also ordered a butter croissant as they did not have any donuts. (I was a little bummed because I was really craving one). Nonetheless, my coffee and pastry was delightful. After my productive session, I got a chance to check out their shop which is called Hey Koneko. They have several things to choose from. Ranging from bath and body items to plants. Definitely a neat concept and quaint coffee spot. I recommend checking them out. The music is also good. Mostly r & b and some hip hop.

This place is a hidden gem!! The Good Boy Cafe is located within the vintage shop Koneko. If you love to sit around live plants while you sip, then this is your spot. (Tip: Plants are also for purchase!!) If you love to shop for unique gifts and goods while you wait for your drink, then this is your spot. I'm a sucker for seasonal drinks, so today I tried the caramel cookie latte. It tastes just like it sounds. It was a treat! Glad I was able to try it before it leaves the lineup. What really got me vested in the vibe was learning that Koneko means kitten in Japanese. The owners love kittens. To top it off, there is such a memorable back story to the name "Good Boy Cafe". I can't retell the story the way the owner does it. I could not hold back the "Aaaawhhh" when it's said that all dogs are good boys. "Aaawhh"! Ooh I can't wait to try the Spanish latte with my next visit.

FOOD INSTAGRAM: @northtx.gemz **** WHAT THEY'RE KNOWN FOR: good quality drinks and matcha. THE VIBE: lowkey hipster, aesthetic, modern boutique connected to this coffee shop. Very green and artsy! PRICE: $10+ for one drink!!! WOULD I COME BACK? Yes. **** Overall Rating: 6/10 - Okay first of all I did see a good boy here look at that cute dog!!!! - The matcha quality was pretty good but over $10 for a drink is crazy. - I mostly docked off points because the strawberry matcha was WAYYYY overly sweet. Maybe I should've asked for half sweet but even then the strawberry flavor was nonexistent. I didn't really enjoy it. Maybe a plain matcha would've been better.

The coffee is great and the pastries are incredible. It's super cozy inside and the windows bring in great natural light. The baristas have been nice every time I've gone. The only thing that I wish was different was the music was more club/house music vs coffee shop music but a great place to grab a coffee or work for a bit too.

Iced Strawberry Matcha with Oat milk, an amazing chocolate cookie, and a cheddar smoked meat stick.

I can't say enough good things about this place! It's my favorite spot to work remotely. The drinks are amazing, especially the iced strawberry matcha with oat milk. You can really tell they use high-quality ingredients, and it makes every sip totally worth it. The baked goods are also fantastic, especially the chocolate cookie, it's a must-try. But what really keeps me coming back is the staff. The owner always makes me feel welcome and like part of the Good Boy Cafe family. And the manager is always making sure the vibe is great for everyone. I always see her going above and beyond for customers. The friendly atmosphere is why I love coming here. It's the perfect place to work or just chill with a great drink. Highly recommend it!

Ugh, I love good boy cafe so much! Dare I say, top 3 matchas in dallas? The inside is beautiful and aesthetic, I can't stop thinking about the green colored walls. Everything is so well curated. My only tiff is the Spanish matcha with oat milk came out to $11.65. Pricing is steep.

Good Biy Cafe is in a very charming boutique. I ordered a London fog latte with vanilla and lavender. Their vanilla syrup is made in house, and delicious. They also offer a variety of unique drinks that all look fantastic.

i have officially inducted "good boy" into my cafe rotation. because i am undoubtedly a "good girl", this place absolutely rocks!! i loved it so much the first time i visited twice, i went back a couple days after my initial visit. the interior design is very chic + moody. there is also a boutique of curated vintage items; from jewelry to bags & dinnerware. the service was kind + chill, what you expect from a non corporate cafe. the baristas were giving fashions i would totally recommend going here!! but please bring your patience, because there is no sense in rushing a good thing.. and good boy cafe has a great thing going i've had the pleasure of vibing with : the rose latte and rose matcha latte. i must say, the rose latte is perfectly balanced andddd the matcha latte is one of the best i've had in a long while.

Tucked inside Koneko, this place is a hidden gem. THE BEST dirty chai I've ever tried. I walked in not knowing what I wanted wanted, but after talking to the barista, she mentioned that the dirty chai with oat milk is one of her go tos. Loved the spices in the chai, the barista even checked to make sure I was ok with extra spices before making my drink. Loved that I was able to walk around and explore Koneko while waiting for my drink. If I am in the Dallas area, I will definitely come back.

It was right after a furry convention happening at my hotel, so it was definitely crowded, but you wouldn't have known it by how smoothly everything was running. There were only two people at the register and two making drinks, yet the service moved quickly and efficiently. You could tell they really knew what they were doing. We both started with black coffees, which we prepared ourselves, and everything was fresh and exactly what we needed. Later, I went back and tried their strawberry, banana, peanut butter smoothie made with almond milk, and wow. Usually, banana overpowers everything in smoothies, but somehow they balanced it perfectly. I could actually taste every single fruit, which felt like magic. The prices were very reasonable, and I even grabbed a croissant for my walk back to the hotel, which was a nice little bonus. The location is beautiful, and while the space itself is on the smaller side, it more than makes up for it with comfortable and ample seating. The overall vibe, combined with top-notch service, made this such a great experience. I can't wait to come back again.

The food is consistently solid so much so that their famous Chicken Panini has been known to sell out, which honestly tells you everything you need to know. My daughter and niece are now completely hooked on the Banana Matcha as well... and trust me, thank me later. The atmosphere fits Lower Greenville perfectly: stylish, relaxed, and ideal for a casual brunch, coffee meetup, or midday reset. Just a heads up weekends are a different beast. Greenville turns into one of Dallas' main social hubs, so expect crowds, traffic, and a lively scene if you decide to pull up during peak hours. Please note that parking in this area is particularly difficult but if you come in the morning, it should be easier to find. Another thing worth nothing is that they are more of a quick standing coffee bar type of place and I definitely wouldn't recommend it for families or kids, so keep that in mind when visiting. Now to the food... They have a small but mighty menu for breakfast and lunch. For my first time I decided to try their The Monte Duro, which is a pastry style "hot pocket" with smoked prosciutto, mortadella, mustard and jam. For drink I decided to go with their Dirty Chai Latte. The drink was absolutely perfection and exactly what I needed in a warm Texas morning. The Monte Duro was cooked to perfection and packed with flavor! Both my friend and I ordered the same thing and we were both obsessed with it.

A Must‑Try Donut Truck at Klyde Warren Park!…read more We stumbled upon this donut truck at Klyde Warren Park while in the area expecting a quick snack, and instead walked away having tried every single flavor they offered. Yes, every one -- and honestly, it was worth it! Each donut was fresh, and crafted with the kind of care you can actually taste. The flavors weren't just different; they were thoughtful, balanced, and surprisingly creative. One of the biggest highlights was the vegan Neapolitan donut. Vegan options can be hit or miss, but this one was so good we had to double‑check it was actually vegan. It had the same rich, indulgent flavor and perfect texture as the regular donuts -- no compromise, no "good for vegan," just good, period. It was one of those rare treats that makes you rethink what vegan baking can be. If you're anywhere near Klyde Warren Park, do yourself a favor and stop by this truck. It's the kind of place that turns a simple donut run into a memorable moment -- and we'd go back in a heartbeat. My kids have already asked a few times, ha!

The other donuts I ordered were decent, but I don't think I'd purchase them again. The classic donut was okay; it was a little too cakey/bready for my liking. Although I liked the flavors of the yuzu & matcha mini, because of the smaller size, the ratio of cream/curd to donut was overpowering. Lastly, again, i liked the flavors of the pistachio cannoli, but it was too sweet and the cream was dry. Overall, I'd still go again and I'd love to try the other flavors. I love the creativity!
