Such gorgeous, welcoming, Costa Rican infused decor

Stumbled upon this pretty in pink gem, while exploring Deep Ellum, for my first time ever in Texas. I wish I could pack up this coffee shop and bring it back to the Northeast with me! The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, explaining different options on the menu and we were not disappointed. I enjoyed an iced latte and a lovely autumn fog Matcha for my friend. I could tell the immense quality of the beans from my first sip! Little did I know, I decided to buy a bag of coffee beans: if you buy a bag of beans, you get a free coffee! I loved my first latte so much that I did end up getting that free coffee right then, the cinnamon French toast latte, which was divine! The space is so vibrant with shades of pink and green, extremely clean and a great spot for remote working or catching up with friends. Everything was neat and tidy, and I loved the infusion of Costa Rican touches throughout the decor as well as as the offering of coffee beans. Next time I'm in Dallas I'm totally coming back!

My favorite go to spot for coffee, breakfast and matcha! Honestly anything you get here is delicious! The inside is really spacious and they have a covered patio as well. Workers are all super cool. It is owned by a Costa Rican and she gets her coffee beans from there and the breakfast truly reminds me of Costa Rica! Parking right across the street be sure to pay or you will get a boot! You will not be disappointed if you come here!

It's okay coffee, and it's not special enough for us to make this our go to coffee place when we're in town. I'd like to first start off with how unfriendly they were, they didn't acknowledge us when we walked in and the place was pretty empty aside from the lady sitting at a table taking photos of her coffee. They were a little too busy talking about whatever they were talking about, and a little disinterested in assisting their customers. Whenever we visit local coffee shops that roast their own beans, I like to pick up a bag and try it out. While I was looking at their scarce selection, a girl came out to look at their display, and not once acknowledged or asked if I had any questions on what little inventory they had. I also was considerate enough to move out of her way so she can look at whatever she needed to look at then she walked off. Anyways, I finally settled on Don Flor (light/medium roast with an aroma of sweet chocolatey tones and dried fruit and the flavor profile being dried cherry, prune, almond, and maple syrup - coming from their website). I will say, most places should have a roast date on their bag, and they didn't which made me a little curious how long their coffee beans are sitting on their tiny bookshelf. If I hadn't scanned the shop, I wouldn't have been able to see where the set their coffee beans because it's pathetically small and located where it can be pretty easy to miss. When we walked up to their cash register still no acknowledgement, and it was quite literally an awkward interaction. I had to greet her first and honestly we should just have walked out but we stayed because I was hoping that the drinks would make up for it since this place had good reviews. Unfortunately, the drinks didn't make up for it... I got the Bee Happy (latte with pistachio and organize honey drizzle) and honestly where was the pistachio? All I tasted was an absurd amount of honey. You couldn't even taste any coffee either. My husband got the Cinnamon French Toast (latte with cinnamon, vanilla, and maple) and he said it was just okay. Nothing that amazed him enough to brag about it. To top it all off, we waited 15 minutes for two mediocre coffees? When we were still the only people in there? Yeah, no thanks. I think aesthetically, this place is cute but do not waste your money here.

While in Texas I tried this lovely looking place The ambiance to this place so warm It makes you want to sit down and dine with a friend and have a cozy conversation! The service was lovely of course The cashier was very informative The food was good! The smoothy I order was amazing . The only negative is that I don't like the coffee they served me, very bad Very expensive!!! I spent over $30 lol Nice spot I guess for the location it's in

What an amazing little coffee shop! Came here for the first time after a doctors appointment close by. I walk in to an interesting looking establishment with two beautiful young barista working hard behind the work area, I ordered a café con Leche came up to $6.25 for a 12 oz. I was thinking to myself cancel that order that is crazy expensive but I didn't and instead thought this better be one dang good cup of coffee. It was a short wait and my coffee came out and I commented to the barista how good it smells inside and she said they were making their homemade strawberry syrup... What!? You make your own syrup! So I get in my car and I take the first sip and OMG !!! I kind of forgot about the $6.25. That's how good the coffee was, I couldn't afford to go here every day next time I'm in the neighborhood. I will definitely be stopping back by.

What's on the espresso machine today?

A glorious new morning staying near Deep Ellum, which was unrecognizable to me since I used to stomp around here. Much of it is gentrified now, but I gotta say, this little shop is cleaner and cuter than that old Insomnia place I used to hang out at. I am glad to report that there is still artwork and murals around the area, and one just outside the Berni Bean. Keep Deep Ellum artsy! Not to mention, I tried the "Happy Bee" Latte with flavors of pistachio and honey. IT HAD NO BUSINESS BEING THAT DELICIOUS. How am I supposed to live knowing it exists and I don't live here to get more of them?!! This is a good review for them, bad review for me ::cry:: The service was great and the ambience is fresh with a pastel tropical color palette. The vibe is chill yet vibrant. Good for conversation, casual laptop work, or treating yourself solo. I had an appointment to get to so I couldn't sit and stay, but I definitely would have if I wasn't supposed to be somewhere else already!

If I'm in Deep Ellum, the I'm going to The Berni Beane. No questions asked. The chill vibe and coffee is a yes in my book. I had an iced berni beane latte during my last visit. The banana and coconut flavors + the pink froth = chef's kiss.

Love this little spot. We popped in on a Thursday, midday. There was a parking lot right around the corner so parking wasn't too much of a hassle. There is some street parking as well. Plenty of seating for a small spot and it doesn't feel cramped. Absolutely so cute inside with all the pink but it's not overwhelming. It's very bright yet cozy. I ordered the Berni Bean which was delicious and my partner got a vanilla latte. The coffee is definitely strong and potent which I enjoyed but may not be everyone's likings. We didn't try any food but I would definitely love to visit again. The owner helped us and she was incredibly sweet to us and other customers as well.

First time here, it was a weekday around 1pm and really slow. The whole area was slow in fact, which greatly aided the street side parking situation. It is a nice sized shop with decent amount of seating inside and covered seating outside. It has what could only be termed as a "cute" decor with splashes of pink all over. The Service was about what you'd expect. Two people working here, both polite and neither was chatty which is not a knock on them but i do enjoy chatty baristas, especially if they know about the coffee. The drink i got was awesomeness! Orange infused Summer Breeze, a summer special. Damn did the foam hold its structure! I got the frothy texture to the last sip. It was super yummy and one of the best renditions or orange flavor melded into a latte I've had in a while. I would definitely not mind coming back.

A cute lil coffee shop in Deep Ellum! We stumbled upon this coffee shop to grab a quick drink and bite before lunch. There's street parking around the area, and to our surprise, we scored parking for the whole day (a Friday) for .35 cents. I'm not sure if that's the usual price for parking around here but that was a great start to our day, with our Berni Bean Coffee experience continuing the upward trend of the day. The inside is actually very spacious and long once you enter. If you need to use the restroom, it's only for customers and you have to ask the staff for the key. The staff was nice enough and answered some questions we had. The menu had some fun drinks, including some seasonal ones. I ended up getting their homemade poptart, which was super good and heated up. This does make the poptart a bit soft and doesn't have the good crisp you expect from a poptart but was still good. My friend got a smoothie and liked it. We didn't sit in the outdoor patio back space, but would recommend, especially if the weather is nice.

Cutest little place in Deep Ellum. This location had pink accents everywhere. The staff were super friendly. I ordered the Desayuno Tico and oh my goodness!! Soooo gooood!!! So many flavors and just made me feel like I was eating home cooked food. I had the Berni Bean Latte with the pink foam and it was absolutely delicious. I can't wait to come back.

Très chic! Cute and quaint coffee shop in Deep Ellum Dallas. Although their menu is limited, it allows them to focus on the few things they have to offer and elevate them. We had the empanaditas (chicken and beef), the rainforest toast (their take on an avocado toast) and since Friday was 20% off seasonal drinks, we had the strawberry shortcake matcha latte. Everything was delicious! Beautifully presented and left me wanting more.

Quality rich Costa Rican coffee!! We got 2 strawberry shortcake lattes ($7) and one with oatmilk ($7.90). The oatmilk makes it more smooth and less sweet. We also got the Berni bean latte ($6). All had a normal amount of sweetness and a good amount of espresso (2 shots). The coffee is rich yet so flavorful. I really wish we got some food- I will def be back and because I love how this place is so transparent, baristas were helpful, and the inside had such a cute pink jungle theme. This is such a good option if you want something that's not a typical coffee shop.
