It's in a strip with a nail salon, sushi spot, tanning and a few other places. Now there's street parking, but we all know how that can be. I walked in at 8:48pm. The employee with long, shaggy hair said out loud, "we close in like 10 minutes." I almost walked out immediately, but it was the only smoothie place close to my hotel. The cashier was very nice and guided me through the menu. The long haired employee even went as far as to unplug the phone because they were getting calls. The girl and cashier were very nice. The guy with shaggy hair that made my bowl was very rude and the bowl was like soup; not frozen to smoothie texture at all. I spoke with the young girl who made my smoothie and explained to her that I needed something before bed because I am here to have my cancer treatment and she was very understanding. My partner drove all the way to juice land for a smoothie for us before they closed. Per their website and google hours this location is open until 9pm. They however refused to serve us saying "they no longer were accepting orders." Why would you still be open but refuse to make a smoothie that takes less than 5 minutes when there was more than enough time before they closed. We had waited all day while i was at work for a treat on our Friday night but this location wouldn't make it even though they were still open. read more

Had an awesome experience here! I talked to Henderson for a bit about the menu and the store in general and he was super upbeat and passionate. The Originator smoothie is mind blowing if you like banana. The workers prepare the smoothies practically in front of you and unlike many other places i've tried their ingredients are super fresh and never frozen. Great customer service at Juiceland Uptown. I've visited twice now. I appreciate that each visit (with different worker) they they have all been friendly, sincerely helpful, and efficient. AND my drink comes out fast (all of this is not my usual experience from past visits in Houston locations, specifcally montrose & heights so this was a pleasant surprise). I went in the morning and parking was plenty. Great spot! Good for protein smoothies and cold-pressed juices. I usually go for the Originator or Moontower smoothie (~$7 for a medium). I stop by this location after every Pilates class! I love the Pleasant Valley juice. The perfect blend of sweet and tart. The service is always amazing! They are all so helpful and informative when I ask questions about the different ingredient combinations or food items in the refrigerators. I came into the McKinney location today after my workout and called to place an order. I was on hold for 10 minutes (it said you are first in line the entire time) only to walk in and see that the phone wasn't ringing and it was not busy. I told the girl incase something may be wrong with their phone machine and she said oh it's because we are about to close. It was 8:48. I told her I'd rather place the order 20 min before closing rather than 10 min which is why I called. She didn't even apologize for the hold! I had to ask her to put my phone number in so I can get points as I come here quite often. Very disappointed in the service. The discontinued blu hullabaloo is the best thing there though! I only got an acia bowl didn't receive that bowl until about 7:15 just sitting there. No one bothered to come out and say it'll be a minute. It's taking a little longer than normal just sitting there so again if this is the place that you're coming and you're in a rush before going to work may wanna wait for another time. I got a smoothie bowl (you could choose any flavor) and added peanut butter on top for 50¢. It was delicious, but I wish the strawberries and banana were cut into smaller/thinner pieces. I got the berry godmother and it was a very good smoothie. My only issue was smoothies were supposed to be 50% off on the opening day. As I was paying, I asked the employee why my total was so high since it was supposed to be 50% off. She said she completely forgot and already ran my card through but they would submit a refund for the other half. Well a few calls later, I have still not been refunded.
