Great customer service at Juiceland Uptown. I've visited twice now. I appreciate that each visit (with different worker) they they have all been friendly, sincerely helpful, and efficient. AND my drink comes out fast (all of this is not my usual experience from past visits in Houston locations, specifcally montrose & heights so this was a pleasant surprise). I went in the morning and parking was plenty. Great spot! Good for protein smoothies and cold-pressed juices. I usually go for the Originator or Moontower smoothie (~$7 for a medium). I stop by this location after every Pilates class! I love the Pleasant Valley juice. The perfect blend of sweet and tart. The service is always amazing! They are all so helpful and informative when I ask questions about the different ingredient combinations or food items in the refrigerators. What always gets me it that it smells like bananas lol every time I I walk in. Which is pleasant when you are hungry lol. I'm so happy that they have added a Juiceland in uptown. Beneficial for the area and business itself . I am no stranger to Juiceland and this visit turned out to be pretty cool. I like the space here , however there is limited a parking with the surrounding businesses . I ordered a Fixer Elixer and the daily special The Originator . Both were made perfectly. I was on hold for 10 minutes (it said you are first in line the entire time) only to walk in and see that the phone wasn't ringing and it was not busy. I told the girl incase something may be wrong with their phone machine and she said oh it's because we are about to close. It was 8:48. I told her I'd rather place the order 20 min before closing rather than 10 min which is why I called. She didn't even apologize for the hold! I had to ask her to put my phone number in so I can get points as I come here quite often. Very disappointed in the service. The discontinued blu hullabaloo is the best thing there though! I only got an acia bowl didn't receive that bowl until about 7:15 just sitting there. No one bothered to come out and say it'll be a minute. It's taking a little longer than normal just sitting there so again if this is the place that you're coming and you're in a rush before going to work may wanna wait for another time. The staff was very welcoming and friendly, the fruit was fresh and delicious and the vibe inside is so colorful and filled with positive energy! I got a smoothie bowl (you could choose any flavor) and added peanut butter on top for 50¢. It was delicious, but I wish the strawberries and banana were cut into smaller/thinner pieces. The smoothie flavors were interesting; I kept tasting a textured ingredient as if it needed more time in the blender, which was throwing me off. Although I am a fan of peanut butter and chocolate, for some reason, this combination fell flat for me. However, I would still come back to explore the rest of the menu, especially their juices; the shot was a perfect wake me up! Also, be prepared to wait about 10 minutes; this place is very popular. This location just opened and I was so excited to give it a try. I went on the opening day and there was a lot going on. They had different prizes and a DJ. I got the berry godmother and it was a very good smoothie. My only issue was smoothies were supposed to be 50% off on the opening day. As I was paying, I asked the employee why my total was so high since it was supposed to be 50% off. She said she completely forgot and already ran my card through but they would submit a refund for the other half. Well a few calls later, I have still not been refunded.
