One year ago in 2024 (I write in June 2025) we had positive experiences with the food, service, and cleanliness. We became fans of La Madeline once again after a long hiatus. In 2025, the situation was different. Our silverware and dishes were not cleaned well and had residue. The wife did not enjoy her French breakfast and said it was not good quality. The croissant was greasy and heavy. My tomato soup was good (just warm, not hot though), but my grilled cheese took forever and a day to get it so that the soup was gone. I had hoped to dip the sandwich in the soup. The kid did not like her pasta and they got the order wrong. Basically, the meal was close to disaster all the way around. I think it is going to be hard to get the family to agree to return anytime soon.
