We both ended up ordering their wedding cake latte, that we later found out that changes colors based on whatever wedding they are hosting in the hotel they are located in. HOW COOL! The latte was FANTASTIC! I love when a coffee shop serves it in glass when you are deciding to sit for a bit! It felt so welcoming! I also decided to order their pound cake which was FANTASTIC! SO moist and perfect with my latte! However, the true star of the show has to be the ambiance! It's located in downtown in the Adolphus hotel and it is STUNNING inside! The espresso was also slightly burnt, which tells me the machine needs a good cleaning. Iced coffee is a different story but for hot cappuccinos, ceramic makes a real difference. My husband's coffee was good though and he was happy with his. Breakfast sandwiches were the toaster style, similar to what you'd expect from a place without a full kitchen. I genuinely enjoyed mine. My husband was not impressed by his. Overall it was a good enough time. We would not go out of our way to come back but if we were in the downtown area and needed a reliable spot in a pinch, we would stop in again. P.S. It had a good tea flavor that blended well with the milk. I finished my drink pretty quickly. It had the perfect sweetness level for me, sweet but not too sweet. My only qualm is that it got watered down a little too quickly for my liking. I probably should've asked for light ice when I was ordering it. The inside is so beautiful! I loved how spacious it was inside, I loved the plants, greenery, and the wood furniture. The decor felt home-y and comfortable. I really liked the aesthetic inside. And there were a couple tables and seats to choose from inside. This location is very downtown, so parking can get a little tough. But I believe there's a parking garage that's across this cafe. While it wasn't super strong or sweet, i thought it was just the right amount of flavoring. I will definitely stop by here again the next time I am in town.
