Tierra y Taza has some serious competition from Little Heron but I'm so happy for BOTH of these businesses! Fountain Place is arguably one of the top 20 prettiest places in Dallas and glad there are so many more ways now to enjoy this area. Little Heron blends Italian bistro and market with full on barista services. Small savory bites, to go hostess gifts, and espresso beverages are the many options. Grabbed a small foccacia type flakey, flat pastry with artichoke, spinach and cheese with my La Colombe blend espresso latte, came out to about $12. What I found interesting is the pastry didn't come toasted and the latte tasted more like an au lait, could just be a personal preference thing. Service is friendly and cashier found me to bring me my order. Charming and beautifully decorated with colorful, bold vintage touches. Excited to see the grand opening buzz tomorrow!

This European style eatery is the perfect addition to the area. Serving beautifully crafted pastries, savory baked goods, coffee/espresso drinks, and various grab and go options, I believe this establishment will be of great service to individuals who work nearby and explorers of downtown. As an explorer of downtown, my daughter and I trekked from Kyle Warren to the bakery. It was an easy 7 minutes but I believe the nearby parking garage offers free parking for patrons of the bakery. I really enjoyed the walk bc it gave me the opportunity to explore Fountain Place. As a bakery connoisseur, I will say that this bakery has a steeper price point but that didn't come as a surprise given the location. Maybe they'll incorporate some type of loyalty program in the future to help patrons "overlook" the prices. Everyone was friendly but the service was a bit slow. They just opened so I believe this will improve w time. I got a latte and some pastries. The latte was alright but the pastries was delectable! I will be back.

It was very pretty inside and outside, the coffee was great and it didn't take too much time to get my order.

Black coffee, focaccia, and vanilla cold foam latte.

The cinnamon rolls here are worth a trip downtown. Never had better!! Can't wait to try some of the other baked goods.

I absolutely fell in LOVE with this coffee shop in the city!…read more My friend and I decided that after lunch we would find a nice coffee shop to sit and enjoy the rest of our work day! We were on the hunt for a place that had a lot of seating, a good coffee menu and also sold pastries, and Otto's checked off all the boxes! I always say that when you are able to find front parking, also, you are exactly where you are meant to be, and somehow some way, we found just that! We both ended up ordering their wedding cake latte, that we later found out that changes colors based on whatever wedding they are hosting in the hotel they are located in. HOW COOL! The latte was FANTASTIC! I love when a coffee shop serves it in glass when you are deciding to sit for a bit! It felt so welcoming! I also decided to order their pound cake which was FANTASTIC! SO moist and perfect with my latte! However, the true star of the show has to be the ambiance! It's located in downtown in the Adolphus hotel and it is STUNNING inside! You truly get a city coffee shop experience at OTTO's! They had plenty of chairs and tables, as well as plugs! Which made our visit that much more great! Overall, I highly recommend it, and I will definately be back!

Coffee was decent, nothing to rave about. My cappuccino was served in a paper cup which I was not thrilled about. We were eating inside, not taking anything to go, so there was no reason for that. Paper cups influence the flavor of a hot espresso and I drink mine with no sweeteners specifically because I want to taste the actual shot. The espresso was also slightly burnt, which tells me the machine needs a good cleaning. Iced coffee is a different story but for hot cappuccinos, ceramic makes a real difference. My husband's coffee was good though and he was happy with his. Breakfast sandwiches were the toaster style, similar to what you'd expect from a place without a full kitchen. I genuinely enjoyed mine. My husband was not impressed by his. Overall it was a good enough time. We would not go out of our way to come back but if we were in the downtown area and needed a reliable spot in a pinch, we would stop in again. P.S. My ratings are based on whether I believe I could make a better or healthier version at home. If food/drinks/service impress me, I'll be happy to come back. If not, the stars reflect that.

My Acai Bowl was delicious, it had many toppings and fruit on it. Everything tasted fresh. Many of my bites had hints of coconut flakes, it was just great. My Iced London Fog was good. It had a good tea flavor that blended well with the milk. I finished my drink pretty quickly. It had the perfect sweetness level for me, sweet but not too sweet. My only qualm is that it got watered down a little too quickly for my liking. I probably should've asked for light ice when I was ordering it. The inside is so beautiful! I loved how spacious it was inside, I loved the plants, greenery, and the wood furniture. The decor felt home-y and comfortable. I really liked the aesthetic inside. And there were a couple tables and seats to choose from inside. This location is very downtown, so parking can get a little tough. But I believe there's a parking garage that's across this cafe. Otherwise, we popped in for a moment to pick up drinks and food. I would love to enjoy my breakfast inside and I would most definitely come back and try their other drinks from their menu. I'll have to come back to try their lattes. Thanks Berni Bean!

Cafe Duro is a must when visiting the Lower Greenville area!…read more I recently visited this amazing European-style café during breakfast on a weekday and it was amazing. Please note that parking in this area is particularly difficult but if you come in the morning, it should be easier to find. Another thing worth nothing is that they are more of a quick standing coffee bar type of place and I definitely wouldn't recommend it for families or kids, so keep that in mind when visiting. Now to the food... They have a small but mighty menu for breakfast and lunch. For my first time I decided to try their The Monte Duro, which is a pastry style "hot pocket" with smoked prosciutto, mortadella, mustard and jam. For drink I decided to go with their Dirty Chai Latte. The drink was absolutely perfection and exactly what I needed in a warm Texas morning. The Monte Duro was cooked to perfection and packed with flavor! Both my friend and I ordered the same thing and we were both obsessed with it.

Everyone in my group loved their drink orders and the breakfast sandwiches had a good depth of flavor thanks to the quality meat and delicious sauce! My only reason for not giving a 5 star is that there is no seating, so don't plan to enjoy your delicious treat there. You might have to take it to go. Can't wait to go back!

The music is always the best music in the background. You could easily chill listening to it, get some work done, or pick up pieces of others' conversations. It's easy to drown out the noise here. Most importantly the coffee is fantastic. The lavender latte might be made of unicorn tears. It's the best I have ever had. I tried one of their cookies on my last visit and it was sinfully delicious. Kind of melty without being warned. Amazing. Stay long enough to check out the little shop attached. Some fun finds.
